    Adams Rubble: Just want to mention that I've become more aware of the important work you do during elections

    Adams Rubble: we had a mosquito revival day yesterday.

    Adams Rubble: they eat lots of things but eat losts of ticks

    Agatha Macbeth: Ahhh

    Agatha Macbeth: Thought they only lived in Australia
    Adams Rubble: oppossums are North America marsupials
    Agatha Macbeth: Wow
    Agatha Macbeth: I always grouped them with lemurs - obvioulsy not

    Adams Rubble: a labor of love but the love and curiosity comes first
    Agatha Macbeth: Just leave the cat out of it


    Bleu Oleander: I just read an interesting book you might like Adams ... The Slip by Prudence Pieffer, she's a curator at MoMA
    Agatha Macbeth: MoMa?
    Bleu Oleander: museum of modern art NYC
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh right

    Bleu Oleander: history of lower Manhattan in the 50's and an artist community that lived and worked there
    Adams Rubble: ahhh
    Bleu Oleander: Agnes Martin Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Indiana and others
    Agatha Macbeth: Maybe that's where MoCA comes from then
    Agatha Macbeth: Would make sense
    Adams Rubble: lower Manhattan used to be affordable
    Bleu Oleander: ha not anymore!
    Agatha Macbeth: Is anywhere affordable now?
    Bleu Oleander: most expensive area is Tribeca these days
    Adams Rubble: yes, Middle America
    Adams Rubble: rich keep trying to move away from the poor
    Bleu Oleander: or at least wall them out
    Agatha Macbeth: Or eradicate them
    Riddle Sideways: San Francisco has a MoMA and other cities have them. Wonder why NYC gets 'The MoMA' ?

    Adams Rubble: not since Covid, Been going to Staten Island and taking the ferry in
    Adams Rubble: to avoid the trains
    Adams Rubble: went past NYC this week on a boat trip up the Hiudson
    Bleu Oleander: oh that sounds nice!
    Bleu Oleander: where were you going?
    Adams Rubble: we went up to Tarrytown and then turned around
    Bleu Oleander: is that past Dia Beacon?
    Adams Rubble: Entertained two granddaughters with animal crackers
    Bleu Oleander: sweet

    Bleu Oleander: have you been to Dia Beacon? very interesting space
    Adams Rubble: I don't think so
    Bleu Oleander: worth the trip

    Adams Rubble: bridge slightly before
    Riddle Sideways: use to be the Tappenzee
    Adams Rubble: it was very impressive the way the tappen Zee expanded
    Adams Rubble: very very wide
    Agatha Macbeth: That's dutch
    Adams Rubble: yup
    Riddle Sideways: now it is the Mario
    Agatha Macbeth: New Amsterdam eh
    Adams Rubble: everyone calls it the tappen Zee Bridge
    Adams Rubble: Mario wasn't a bad chap but his sons sullied the name
    Agatha Macbeth: Dressing as a plumber didn't help either

    Riddle Sideways: could cut the bottom to make wheels for the animal wagons
    Riddle Sideways: ah childhood was so much simpler back then
    Adams Rubble: yeah we had polio, scarlet fever, mumps and measles then
    Adams Rubble: RFK wants to bring them all back for us
    Riddle Sideways: all kids have now is Covid
