Riddle Sideways: Good Morning Adams ㋡
Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
Adams Rubble: were you able to get to the teahouse and forst pavilion?
    Adams Rubble: first
    Riddle Sideways: yes, eventually ㋡
Riddle Sideways: did not remember them being so close to each other
Riddle Sideways: and there is a larger teahouse looking place near by
Adams Rubble: They are little closer now that the teahouse has moved east
Riddle Sideways: and the second looked much bigger then remembered
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: ah
Adams Rubble: there was lots of space behind us in the pavilion
Riddle Sideways: it use to be by a pond, reeds and a path by a fence
Adams Rubble: would you like to move to the teahouse for our session today?
Riddle Sideways: so of that space is fulling up
    Riddle Sideways: ok
Adams Rubble: I made a LM

At this point we teleported to the Teahouse

Adams Rubble: I'll have to remember to copy the text :)
Riddle Sideways: was going to ask if you still remember cut-paste
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: and that remove timestamps macro
Adams Rubble: I can't depend on the recording part working
Adams Rubble: I don;t know about the macro but that is OK
Adams Rubble: this is like old times
Adams Rubble: feels like it should be in black and white :)
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: was much easier to get up the stairs and open the door
Riddle Sideways: and get inside before the door shut :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: we have learned some things :)
    Riddle Sideways: some things
Adams Rubble: I think it is nice they kept the script that Moon and Fael wrote to have the teapot swing back and forth

The teapot had stopped and I tried to touch it to start and ended up sitting on the teapot

Riddle Sideways: ha, ride the tea pot
Adams Rubble: It had stopped and I was trying to get it to start again :)
Riddle Sideways: Dakini owns this now.
Riddle Sideways: except the book case is Solo Bills
    Adams Rubble: Dakini built it
Adams Rubble: Zen retreat owns it
Adams Rubble: and I think Yuki saved the Zen Retreat as well as the pavilion
Adams Rubble: The pavilion often makes me think of Stevenaia in his orange short
Adams Rubble: Saturday night sessions with Stim
    Riddle Sideways: ah
Adams Rubble: I mean teahouse rather than pavilion
Riddle Sideways: missed most of those
Adams Rubble: I think I may have missed your sessions here

Heart Sutra and [new] translation by Thich Nhat Hanh

Adams Rubble: I have been marveling at the closeness of the Abhidharma to the Heart Sutra
Riddle Sideways: it depended on which time zone Pema was in, as to whether he attended
Adams Rubble: but some think the Heart Sutra was written to make the Abhidharma more accessible and also the Heart Sutra was Mahayana
Adams Rubble: yes this session was early when he was in Japan
Riddle Sideways: and a day ahead
Adams Rubble: did you see the Heart Sutra translation by Thich Nhat Hanh I poisted on my blog a few days ago?
Adams Rubble: whoops late in the day in Japan
    Adams Rubble: https://plumvillage.org/about/thich-nhat-hanh/letters/thich-nhat-hanh-new-heart-sutra-translation/
Adams Rubble: there is an interesting chant of it on the webpage
Riddle Sideways: thanks, was off looking for it
Adams Rubble: The latter takes a while to get started :)

The Radiance Sutra by Lorin Roche

Riddle Sideways: am reading-studying The Radiance Sutras (Lorin Roche) with a group.
    Riddle Sideways: one a week
    Riddle Sideways: of 112
     --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: ty and continue drinking tealeaves
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I don;t know what that is
    Adams Rubble: Yoga?
Riddle Sideways: yes.  Vijnana Bhairava Tantra
Riddle Sideways: is this teahouse the same as you remember?
Adams Rubble: there are a few little changes in the interior
    Riddle Sideways: more cushions
    Riddle Sideways: turned?
Adams Rubble: no I think the cushion arrangement is the same
    Riddle Sideways: ok
Adams Rubble: they were turned like this
Riddle Sideways: the tricks of memory
    Adams Rubble: https://wiki.playasbeing.org/Chronicles/Chapter_05:_My_Subsequent_Weeks_in_the_Month_of_June
    Adams Rubble: cushions were blue
    Riddle Sideways: nice
Riddle Sideways: so quick with the wiki
Adams Rubble: WHO wrote the book of Chronicles?
    Adams Rubble giggles
    Riddle Sideways: giggles
    Riddle Sideways: deep study
Riddle Sideways: sifting through and presenting the nuggets for us
Adams Rubble: those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end...
Riddle Sideways: ah, yes, remember it well
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I wore my hair like this
Riddle Sideways: yes, there is the hair
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: those are only 9 second bells
    Riddle Sideways: hmm
Riddle Sideways: just the gong fading away
Adams Rubble: I can't find my early outfit
    Riddle Sideways: nice
Riddle Sideways: a fashion show, trip through inventory
Adams Rubble: the days in the teahouse
Adams Rubble: and outside on the logs
Riddle Sideways: lucky this inventory took a crash a few years ago and lost all those olde things
    Adams Rubble: awww
    Riddle Sideways: no log outside
    Adams Rubble: not anymore
Riddle Sideways: as said, early Riddle could not always get inside the teahouse
Riddle Sideways: so sessions were out on the log
Riddle Sideways: would say it was nicer to be in nature :)
Adams Rubble: some guardians preferred out side and some inside
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, how ugly these avs are
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: Picture with my first session meeting Pema and Maxine:
    https://wiki.playasbeing.org/Chat_Logs/2008/06/2008.06.12_07:00_-_Rubble_Rousing
    Riddle Sideways: wow
Riddle Sideways: those were the days
Adams Rubble: you are correct that the cushions were arranged a little differently
Adams Rubble: the wiki is not letting me root around very easily
Riddle Sideways: yes, can't find photos easily
    Adams Rubble: it slowed down
    Adams Rubble: but some interspersed
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: would you say more about the yoga -practice youa re oding
    Adams Rubble: doping
    Adams Rubble: yikes
    Adams Rubble: doing
Riddle Sideways: only started it a month ago

    More on Radiance Sutra

Riddle Sideways: has a 112 one-page verses, then an interpetation of them section, then a yogic practice section
Riddle Sideways: read a few of the methods of practice, then the days word, and an expansion, then sit with it for a half hour
Riddle Sideways: funny, that on the Zoom call is a lady who sits in the same place each time
Riddle Sideways: and the sun comes through a window in steaks, lines, rays
Riddle Sideways: then clears at the end to see her again
Riddle Sideways: Or her brilliance shines beyond what the camera can take
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: there was a section (not found right now) that took off into our other sences beyond the normal 5
Riddle Sideways: that you remind of in your blog
Riddle Sideways: e.g. a sense of warmth or coldness
Riddle Sideways: the little automagical things parts of the body sense
Riddle Sideways: usually write those off as the mind
    Riddle Sideways: or heart
Riddle Sideways: not as important as the eyes and ears
Adams Rubble: I have not done yoga so this is probably a little beyond me but it is nice when we take off
Riddle Sideways: actually, last week ribs and chest hurt from a bit too much stretching
Riddle Sideways: maybe over did the breathing
Adams Rubble: I have heard yoga is tough
Adams Rubble: I went to a stretching class once and it was hard
Riddle Sideways: yes, not for the older of me
    Riddle Sideways: for young people
Riddle Sideways: Balance ain't what it use to be
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: and core has softened to fat
    Riddle Sideways: --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: and the mental yoga is tough too
    Riddle Sideways: a new language
Adams Rubble: so much to learn
Riddle Sideways: imagine a single word having so many meanings :)
Adams Rubble: I just want to note that there is a dog barking outside to remind me of my dog barking session here many years ago :)
    Riddle Sideways: ha
    Adams Rubble: com-PA-shun
    Riddle Sideways: Eden says:
                     A bark in the night
Piercing the shield of sweet sleep
                     Dispelling the dreams

    Adams Rubble: !!!
Riddle Sideways: from day 94 only back in 2013
Riddle Sideways: lots of dog barking found in wiki
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: i was like a new blank notebook when i came to PaB
Adams Rubble: a real beginners mind
    Riddle Sideways: Beginner's Mind
    Riddle Sideways: snap
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: there were all these wise people here
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: had the thought that maybe hanging out with these people would rub so of that wisdom off
    Riddle Sideways: but nope
    Adams Rubble giggles
Adams Rubble: that is not true Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: have learned that being a wise ass is not the same
    Adams Rubble giggles
Adams Rubble: I had that BEFORE I came

    Remembering WoK

Riddle Sideways: before PaB, was at WoK

Riddle Sideways: and those were intelligent people
Adams Rubble: yes and you were there too
    Riddle Sideways: that gave lectures
    Riddle Sideways: on Great Knowledges
Riddle Sideways: had to get out of there before it would be my turn
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I can imagine the stress
Riddle Sideways: Maxine kept her name the same over here, but I think a couple people changed their names
Adams Rubble: to protect the innocent
Riddle Sideways: to confuse the easily confused

    PaB Names

Adams Rubble: we had to use names that were available
Riddle Sideways: remember trying on last names
Riddle Sideways: such a long list
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: and there was "Rubble"
Riddle Sideways: hard to imagine the ones that only got "Resident"
Adams Rubble: so hard but my newer alts are resident
    Adams Rubble: the impoverished
Riddle Sideways: once, somebody Sideways walked up and said "Hi Cousin"
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I met a Rubble or two; one of them made friends and I never saw him again
Riddle Sideways: ah, the long Friends list
Adams Rubble: I am going to have to go; don;t let me forget to copy log
    Riddle Sideways: ok.
Riddle Sideways: Don't forget to copy the log
Riddle Sideways: see ... a Wise Ass
Adams Rubble: hehe; I just made a new notecard while you were speaking
Riddle Sideways: hmm, never did it that way
Riddle Sideways: use to copy it right out into a text editor
    Adams Rubble: o0h
    Adams Rubble: good idea
Riddle Sideways: your way saves it in here
Adams Rubble: yes and can't post it from here with out paying lindens
    Adams Rubble: highway robbery
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: saved to the Linden Cloud
Adams Rubble: it was nice meeting you here. Are you going to be able to get your avatar back?
    Riddle Sideways: thanks, will try
    Riddle Sideways: by All
    Adams Rubble: bye :)
