We decided to hold today's session at the old pavilion, the second home of Play as Being. The topic was from the first part of my blog today:
1.Looking Outward:
“As human beings, we are all participants in the same play, we are all active together” – Tarthang Tulku
“All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;” – William Shakespeare, As You Like It
“All the Buddhas and all sentient beings are nothing but One Mind, beside which nothing exists.” -Huángbò Xīyùn
Adams Rubble: Good Morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Good Morning Adams ㋡
Adams Rubble: Do you feel like going to old pavilion?
Riddle Sideways: oh right you did mention that
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: OK :)
[TELEPORT to Rieul]
Adams Rubble: our postures are very rigid here
Riddle Sideways: ha, somebody knows how to speel Seiza ㋡
Riddle Sideways: in the cushions
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: Pema's house used to be behind us
Riddle Sideways: hmm, did not know that
Adams Rubble: yes behind the pillar
Riddle Sideways: knew the little cabin when we moved to the big region
Adams Rubble: people used to constantly fall in the stream trying to enter the pavilion :)
Adams Rubble: would hear a splash
Riddle Sideways: yes, remember that well
I jumped right into the topic I was eager to discuss
Adams Rubble: the first part of my blog might form a good topic
Riddle Sideways: the newest one? Looking outward?
Adams Rubble: yes, looking outward
Riddle Sideways: Only 3 quotes.
Riddle Sideways: Could have been a hundred ㋡
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: Many many Sci-fi stories-quotes of hiveminds, superminds, community minds and brains behind the curtains
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: The idea of of all being part of one mind struck me last night
Adams Rubble: our thinking is so similar
Riddle Sideways: has struck many over history
Riddle Sideways: and brought forth many therories
Adams Rubble: I was thinking that it can draw us away from being so preoccupied with what is going on in our own mind
Riddle Sideways: liked the Radio station therories. Of a great giant radio channels broadcasting around the globe of everybodies thoughts
Riddle Sideways: drawn off to preoccupied with what is going on in the Great Mind ? :))
Adams Rubble: hehe, yes
Adams Rubble: well no :)
Riddle Sideways: or the security and comfort of Being cared for by the Other mind
Adams Rubble: thinking of empathy for all the people fighting off their monkey minds and their devils
Adams Rubble: many worrying what others thinking of them
Adams Rubble: trying to find peace
Adams Rubble: ohhhhh
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: just thought of the Bodhisattvas dedicating their existence to helping others to enlightenment
Adams Rubble: first step is to recognize their suffering I guess
Adams Rubble: next step is to get enlightened :)))
Riddle Sideways: that is better than the thinking of Congress trying to get relief to all the poor citizens and children
Riddle Sideways: ha, read that as next Stop
Adams Rubble: politics is the art of suffering on a large scale
Riddle Sideways: get on the train
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: all aboard for the enlightenment train
Riddle Sideways: --Beel--
Riddle Sideways: Sir, how much is the ticket to Enlightment?
Riddle noticed a pattern in my thinking I had missed
Riddle Sideways: Seeing now your logical extension from last weeks thoughts
Riddle Sideways: of the atoms, cells, parts of body
Riddle Sideways: being independent, but part of the Whole
Riddle Sideways: the independent foot doing its part in walking
Riddle Sideways: while the larger thinks of where to walk
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I did not realize there was any continuity :)
Adams Rubble: you are very generous :)
Riddle Sideways: to this now larger thoughts of all humanity and All uniting to do their part
Riddle Sideways: to walk forward
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: some other Big mind can decide which direction Forward is
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: yet in the Swarm we are cells of the larger brain
I cause a distraction
Adams Rubble: that reminds me of Homer Simpson
Adams Rubble: talking to Bart
Riddle Sideways: HA! yes
Adams Rubble: Let's go watch TV
Adams Rubble: Bart: What is on?
Adams Rubble: Homer: It doesn't matter
Riddle Sideways: "Duh! I said that out loud, didn't I"
Adams Rubble: I wasn't making light of your thought but making a connection to the group mind
Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: There are many other Social Media groups besides FB, Redit, Twit.
Riddle Sideways: One that seems to send constant emails Quora Digest, seems to always have a variant on the theme
Riddle Sideways: 'Are we Living in a Simulation?'
Adams Rubble: ouch
Adams Rubble: that is the theology of predestination
Riddle Sideways: or a world outside of this one that is controlling ours
Riddle Sideways: or watching
Riddle Sideways: or set us in motion
Riddle Sideways: The Matrix
Adams Rubble: I don't think that gets us where we need to go
Riddle Sideways: nope. your right
Riddle Sideways: in fact it stalls us
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: "Why Bother"
Adams Rubble: devil strikes again
Adams Rubble: dang evil
Adams Rubble: dang devil
Adams Rubble: hmmm. did not realize that evil is devil without the "d"
Riddle Sideways: ㋡ hmmm. had never either
Riddle Sideways: late, but --Bell--
Adams Rubble: thank you for keeping time
Riddle Sideways: had forgotten to start the Gong app
We start to reminisce but continue to weaving in and out of the stop
Riddle Sideways: did the old cushion have typing AOs?
Riddle Sideways: for today, kinda like it
Riddle Sideways: maybe not always
Adams Rubble: no, some people turned off the typing gesture
Riddle Sideways: does show that the typist is there and starting to rezpond
Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: seems to be in the cushion
Riddle Sideways: one good thing is that (Moon's ?) noise maker thing is gone
Adams Rubble: ha ha, yes
Adams Rubble: I had donated chimes and they are gone too
Adams Rubble: signed them over to Dakini
Riddle Sideways: so much in SL changes if one is not around to keep it the same
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: and yet here we are :)
Riddle Sideways: at the Same Ol place
Adams Rubble: the old same place
Riddle Sideways: "oh, you mean the old same place"
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: Nobody expects the Firesign Theater
Adams Rubble: they should when we get together
Riddle Sideways: oh right, it happens all the time
Adams Rubble giggles
Adams Rubble: well we've covered the Simpsons and Firesign Theater-what is next
Riddle Sideways: so the Big Body experiments
Riddle Sideways: the Big Body would have the Big Brain?
Adams Rubble: oooooooh
Riddle Sideways: it always seems to be life-less
Riddle Sideways: a Big maniquin to play with
Adams Rubble thinks of all the cartoons with the giants who seemed not to have big brains
Riddle Sideways: hmm, funny that they always did that. the brain shrunk as the body grew
Riddle Sideways: --Beel--
Adams Rubble apologizes for not waiting to see where you were going with the big brain
Riddle Sideways: nope
Riddle Sideways: TSK never really cover Big Brain
Riddle Sideways: it went to Great Knowledge
Adams Rubble nods
Adams Rubble: back to where we started :)
Riddle Sideways: what happened to Great Wisdom
Riddle Sideways: yep
Riddle Sideways: is there the Wisdon that contains all Wisdoms
Riddle Sideways: out there ready and waiting to be drawn upon
Riddle Sideways: happy thought
Riddle Sideways: the Cardinal Set of all wisdoms
Already in Us
Adams Rubble: if there is a Great Wisdom to be found it is already in us
Adams Rubble: doncha think?
Riddle Sideways: yeppers
Riddle Sideways: almost a forehead slap (forget that term)
Adams Rubble: dolt!!!
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: So much to learn
Riddle Sideways: from the great Home Simpson
Riddle Sideways: Buddah, Ox
Riddle Sideways: Oz
Riddle Sideways: wait. they had several of those episodes
Riddle Sideways: one where Homer slips into a 3D universe
Riddle Sideways: one where there are a million Homers
Riddle Sideways: one where Homer's voice is controlled by somebody behind, who is controled by somebody, who is contr...
Riddle Sideways: Really, have not watched that many Simpson's
Riddle Sideways: Really !
Riddle Sideways: Several years back, there was a marathon of like all 10years shown in order on some channel
Riddle Sideways: did watch too much of that
Adams Rubble: it's easy to get caught up in stuff
Adams Rubble: btw, I watched the first episode of the Black Chruch you recommended last night

Adams Rubble: I had not known about the Muslim settlements on the Georgia Coast
Adams Rubble: and did not realize the first Great Awakening was in the 1700s
Adams Rubble: tow things I learned
Adams Rubble: ohh and John Legend got his start in the Pent3ecoastal church
Riddle Sideways: good to learn something from watching TV

Riddle Sideways: Butterfly (forgot for a sec)
Riddle Sideways: In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly
Adams Rubble: the odd part is the organist plays it
Riddle Sideways: plays it all the way through
Riddle Sideways: and almost dies
Adams Rubble: I don;'t remember the almost dying
Riddle Sideways: all the pranks Bart pulls
Riddle Sideways: starts to think of all the pranks the Great Joker in the sky is pulling
Riddle Sideways: really had to laugh at the Prank of making us all elect the Donald
Adams Rubble: I mised that one
Riddle Sideways: oh, did you think that we did that by real
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: had to be a joke

Riddle Sideways: it still looks different then the memories
Adams Rubble: yes, there are many pictures you can compare
Adams Rubble: the table makes a huge difference
Riddle Sideways: Doh! should have just talked of Memories
Adams Rubble: I think the cushions were arranged in a circle
Riddle Sideways: and not the song of Cats
Adams Rubble: and the seating postures are different
Adams Rubble: and usually had more avatars here
Adams Rubble: lions and birds
Riddle Sideways: adn Asarashahuha(that big av of few words) would sit in the corner on no cushion
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: and never say "I"
