Day 80

Day 80 07/12/10 -

Dear All,

Today is day 80, since our previous retreat in San Francisco,
and we have 20 more days to go before starting our Nova Scotia
retreat.

The more I hear from Eos about the wonderful place where we will
be staying, out in the woods, with experienced guides to show us
how to appreciate the surroundings, the more I feel excited about
our retreat there!

And let me use this opportunity to thank Calvino and Fael again
for their ongoing efforts to rescue not only our PaB wiki, a task
that they completed last month, but also a number of satellite
wikis from both PaB and Kira related workshops and activities.
I'm really grateful for them carrying out that work, given that
rather few of us have the technical know-how to do that work.
And in addition, they have started to overhaul the PaB wiki
itself, something that many of us have talked about for, oh,
almost two year :-), so I am very pleased to see that process
now underway. Thank you both, and thanks also to anyone else
helping with the overhaul!

btwe, I'm still a bit sleepy, after watching the Holland-Spain
World Cup finals earlier today in Japan from 3:30 am till 6:00 am,
only to see Holland lose the game 0:1 in the last few minutes of
the half hour overtime . . . but perhaps it is only fair, given that
Spain lost 362 years ago (not lost from Holland, but lost Holland,
when we became independent after fighting for 80 years, on a bit
longer time scale than a soccer game :-).
