    Eden Haiku: Ah no, it was an article in a local newspaper and the declaration of an environmentalist saying it was already too late.

    Riddle Sideways: that is a beautiful warm coat for today
    Eden Haiku: Did you see this 15 years old Swedish girl declaration at the COP24? She was amazingly direct!

    Eden Haiku: Yes, the weather is chilly and grey :)
    Eden Haiku: So the coat is comfort clothing :)

    Eden Haiku: Wonderful! One of the youngest ones in my family is one and a half too. I can't wait to see her again at New Year!

    Eden Haiku: I love all 9 of them, the older ones of 7 and 6 who can now READ and the toddlers in between and the babies :)

    Eden Haiku: My brothers had 2 children each who had 2 children each and one couple 3 :)

    Eden Haiku: Son has 2 toddlers: a 4 yo old daughter and a 1.5 boy.

    Eden Haiku: His daughter has an 6yo boy, a 3 yo daughter and a 1»5 girl.
    Eden Haiku: Second brother has two daughters.
    Adams Rubble: An airplane was traveling at 35,000 feet up and had 9 toddlers. How many pilots were there?
    Eden Haiku: Oldest has 7 yo girl and 3 yo boy.

    Eden Haiku: Youngest has two daughters: almost 5 yo and almost 1 yo girl. Their mom is the pilot :)

    Adams Rubble: do they all speak French?
    Eden Haiku: She will be back to work in February, I wonder how she and her companion will deal with the toddlers. She often flies from Toronto and they live near Montreal.[Saw her yesterday and she told me she will now be based in Montreal, what a relief!]
    Riddle Sideways: at 1.5 they have their own language
    Adams Rubble: oh yes
    Adams Rubble: wow about the commute
    Riddle Sideways: And Eden is the GREAT aunt
    Eden Haiku: The ones from Montreal area speak French, the ones from Toronto and Ottawa area speak English. But the 4 year old girl who goes by my mother Eden Haiku: Yes, the commute is rather exacting, Fingers crossed so there isn't a huge snowstorm the day of our party!

    Adams Rubble: so unusual that it is not a scammer calling--a real person this time
    Eden Haiku: A real person on the phone is rare occurence nowadays :)
    Riddle Sideways: oooooo, not had a real caller in the last hundred
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Eden Haiku: Some phone companies are not offering landlines anymore did you hear?Riddle Sideways: hmmm, no have not heard that
    Adams Rubble: I'll give up my landline when they pry it from my cold dead hands
    Riddle Sideways: still have landline so that when power outage there is still phone
    Riddle Sideways: ha, yes Adams
    Riddle Sideways: and that rotary dialer
    Eden Haiku: Our landline comes with a bunch: Internet and Tv so if I disconnect it, it would be more expensive, I think. Also, when outage, it’s useful and to talk with my almost 92 years old mother-in-law.
    Adams Rubble: hehe, still have one but it is now disconnected
    Adams Rubble: yes have the three
    Adams Rubble: rarely watch TV though
    Eden Haiku: We still have some excellent local tv shows here, so I watch a few.
    Riddle Sideways: still calling it 'watch TV' but it is a Netflix or Amazon or ... service
    Adams Rubble watches my computer :)
    Eden Haiku: Very few French programs on Netflix unfortunately.
    Adams Rubble: ohhh
    Eden Haiku: I watch in English but my companion isn't fluent.. He reads poetry all the time, doesn't like TV...

    Eden Haiku: Bought him an anthology of Argentinian poetry for Christmas.
    Riddle Sideways: we are watching a lot lately, for some reason.

    Eden Haiku: Yes, he does read Spanish. His maternal grandfather was born in London but as many French-Canadians my companion resisted learning English and became fluent in Spanish instead :)

    Eden Haiku: His speech wasn’t so clear so his Mom asked me if I had seen the cat by the sidewalk

    Eden Haiku: I hadn't so I walked back and found a black & white cat lying by the side of the street, very ill and trembling
    Eden Haiku: we were soon a little group with him, calling veterinarians and services to take care of the poor thing
    Eden Haiku: People brought towels to warm the cat and a young couple took their car to bring him to the veterinary.
    Eden Haiku: I don't know what happened after that...
    Eden Haiku: It was so very sad. I'm sure he's someone cat...
    Adams Rubble: hope it is going to be OK
    Riddle Sideways: hope the toddler tells you the cat is ok, next time you meet
    Eden Haiku: An older woman thought he was dying. There was no blood.. So I don't think he was hit by a car.
    Eden Haiku: Gave my email to the young couple who took the cat to the veterinarian but didn't hear from them yet...[Heard from them later: it was an aging dying cat. He got an anti-pain shot and received euthanasia at the veterinarian...]
    Eden Haiku: Oh yes, Adael, you are a cat. I was forgetting that :))
    Eden Haiku: Sorry for my sad Christmas story....
