We had a beautiful surprise this morning. Moon Fargis, a Pab old-timer joined us at the pavilion!

Eden Haiku: Many people from Quebec were watching. The team was mainly from here.
Eden Haiku: Yes, saw Warren Beatty fumbling with the enveloppe.
Eden Haiku: He apparently had "best actress" enveloppe.
Eden Haiku: So he was wondering.
Eden Haiku: Bonny and Clyde stole the show :)

Eden Haiku: But it was sad to have "Moonlight' miss the spotlight of its moment of glory...
Eden Haiku: The La La Land team was graceful about it but still...
Riddle Sideways: and for LaLaLand cast to come on stage then have it taken away

Eden Haiku: Haven't seen any of these 2 movies yet. But loved "Manchester-by-the-Sea"
Riddle Sideways: no, haven't seen most of the movies either
Eden Haiku: You didn’t watch live?
Riddle Sideways: no, was watching something else
Riddle Sideways: did not even realize it was on until ran out to pick up pizza :)

Eden Haiku: My companion and I realized how little we know about American culture, missing so many jokes :)
Riddle Sideways: remembering 20+ years ago making a point of having seen every one of the movies
Eden Haiku: Oh wow!
Riddle Sideways:then maybe 10 years ago, keeping a list of winners to make sure we watched them on VHS
Riddle Sideways: Friends in-town go to the movies a lot
Eden Haiku: VHS: just found a box of them. Giving them away for people who still have the machine to watch them....
Eden Haiku: We mostly watch on Apple-Tv now :)

Riddle Sideways: the next day, call Bleu over to look, but it was not playing over there then
Riddle Sideways: funny, how little glitches in reality sometimes affect more or less
Riddle Sideways: having a nice feel of what should be real
Riddle Sideways: even in a made up movie, play
Riddle Sideways: even in a virtual world far away
Eden Haiku: Yes, little glitches and then obsessing about them ...
Riddle Sideways: the Reality is perfect, except the fountain sound is missing

Eden Haiku: So used to it, from my past 8 years at PaB...
Riddle Sideways: Sitting in a dark theater watching a screen, But being with them completely

Eden Haiku: Saw a tiny little girl walking along her giant Dad the other day on an icy sidewalk. Said hello to the triomphant toddler. Dad said it was a good thing day care wasn't too far, because she insisted on walking all the way back home :)
