Riddle Sideways: schedules, appointments, plans, etc. are just shelved
Riddle Sideways: our little apartments/townhouses feel like cabins in the woods

Riddle Sideways: yet, short blocks walk are lots of stores to get groceries
Adams Rubble: one generates lots of love for the little ones

Riddle Sideways: little one goes back to sleep and makes noises while sleeping

Riddle Sideways: Plus, new parents say the darnest things

Riddle Sideways: Oh! did you know that how to raise children has completely changed
Adams Rubble: what!!?! No keeping them in the chicken coop?
Riddle Sideways: oh, you were thinking of 'Free-Range Children'
Riddle Sideways: yet, there still are holes in the space-time continuium
Riddle Sideways: a baby object that was just in aunties lap is found way upstairs
Riddle Sideways: of course everybody still wonders "what does baby really see?"
Riddle Sideways: and that delightful smile is just gas
Riddle Sideways: some things never change

Riddle Sideways: and went searching for the big baby cartoons
Riddle Sideways: spent pause on Cat comic

Adams Rubble: I was thinking about how special it was when my parents would come to visit us
Riddle Sideways: did they live far away?
Adams Rubble: only about 60 miles but they only visited once or twice a year
Riddle Sideways: whoops, read Grandparents
Adams Rubble: we usually did the travelling
Adams Rubble: they were grandparents :)
Adams Rubble: not my grandparents :)
Riddle Sideways: yes, our parents leaved far away and seldom visited our house for the kids
Riddle Sideways: lived
Riddle Sideways: usually traveled to them
Riddle Sideways: and the kids found all new toys
Adams Rubble: precious moments
Riddle Sideways: out would come the camera
Riddle Sideways: Dad would take them down into the shop
Adams Rubble: now when grandchildren come, out come boxes of used toys :)
Riddle Sideways: and they would come back with a board with nails half pounded into it
Riddle Sideways: yep, already have those boxes of toys ready in the corner of the living room
Adams Rubble: :)))
Riddle Sideways: just waiting for this baby to swallow a Lego
Riddle Sideways: no no

Riddle Sideways: right now, we are only up to swinging arms around
Adams Rubble: it goes so fast
Adams Rubble: today the arms, tomorrow chasing them through the house
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: I regularly feel much blessed for having long enough to witness it all
Riddle Sideways: is a blessing
