Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Morning Adams
Riddle Sideways: a little trouble getting connected
Adams Rubble: I noticed the bots disappear
Riddle Sideways: Ye Olde modem only wanted to pass a few bytes at a time
Adams Rubble: awww
Riddle Sideways: yes, the bots were still alive until the modem was restarted
Adams Rubble turns off Aida and devotes full attention here
Riddle Sideways: good thing you noticed them going, meant the great world network was being rebuilt
Adams Rubble: hmmm
Adams Rubble: it seems much has happened since last time we met
Riddle Sideways: ? 2 days
Riddle Sideways: no
Riddle Sideways: last Thursday
Adams Rubble: days lengthening into weeks :)
Riddle Sideways: trouble knowing the day of week
Adams Rubble: it is Thisday
Riddle Sideways: each Thisday gets so which into it
Riddle Sideways: sorry beel

Riddle Sideways: /listens
Adams Rubble: Passover starts Wednesday night
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: I am thinking of having my session in the upper gallery of the museum Thursday
Adams Rubble: but I am expecting you will not be able to come
Adams Rubble: will social distancing change your plans?
Riddle Sideways: no, should be able to come
Adams Rubble: Thursday is Holy Thursday for Christians
Riddle Sideways: stuff happens Wednesday night and Thursday night
Adams Rubble: that is night of the Last Supper which was a seder
Riddle Sideways: yes, it was a seder
Adams Rubble: thought the museum would be a great place to meet
Riddle Sideways: have heard of Good Friday, but not Holy Thursday ㋡
Riddle Sideways: it is a good place to meet
Adams Rubble: the curator is working there on the Islamic part of the Medieval Iberia exhibitions
Riddle Sideways: maybe leave a sign here, for all the visitors
Adams Rubble: yes, planning to do that and will send out an email
Riddle Sideways: the auto-logger would not be there
Adams Rubble: right
Riddle Sideways: but, you know how to manual log
Adams Rubble: Yes, just copy the chat into a notecard and send it to central control
Riddle Sideways: a question on editing logs
Riddle Sideways: how much speeling corrections do you do?
Riddle Sideways: and some times also move sentences closer to where those thoughts were together
Adams Rubble: if I see something i correct it unless the typo is interesting and it is corrected in the log. If it were interesting and not corrected I might just note it
Adams Rubble: I think it is up to each person
Riddle Sideways: right
Riddle Sideways: left the entire typos section in last weeks discussions of keyboards
Adams Rubble: they parked a refrigerated truck outside our local hospital to store dead bodies
Riddle Sideways: oh dear
Adams Rubble: makes it hit home
Adams Rubble hoping not to get in there
Riddle Sideways: not read the NYtimes article yet. re: funeral home issues
Riddle Sideways: saw it and put it on the pile
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: I am very grateful to have made it to April 7
Riddle Sideways: was looking at the maps/graphs website of numbers of sick and deaths in world, US, states
Riddle Sideways: however, can't find that link now
Riddle Sideways: your little NJ has high numbers
Adams Rubble: yes, over 42,000 cases and over 1000 deaths. The latter will go up quickly
Riddle Sideways: what else were you referring to before with "a lot has happened" in 5 days
Adams Rubble: it seems like a long time. My book came yesterday
Adams Rubble: the big project
Riddle Sideways: ah yes
Adams Rubble: finished the second project and now working on the third
Riddle Sideways: Great, bet that makes ya feel better
Riddle Sideways: less stressed
Adams Rubble: The daily grim figures mark each day
Adams Rubble: so last time I saw you the numbers were way lower
Adams Rubble: I think that may be why it seeems a long time
Riddle Sideways: yet now, most have figured out more of how to Live now and to take it serious
Riddle Sideways: 3 weeks ago, there was panic over Not Knowing
Riddle Sideways: and those 5 stages of mourning
Adams Rubble: three weeks seems years ago :)
Riddle Sideways: It was several years ago
Riddle Sideways: partner did the going out yesterday and was worried about not remembering how to drive again
Riddle Sideways: did the counting and it was 3 weeks
Adams Rubble: understand about the driving. I drove Saturday after a week and a half
Riddle Sideways: 2-3 weeks ago grocery stores were packed with people and empty shelves
Riddle Sideways: now, no people in store (or limit of 30 at a time)
Riddle Sideways: and lines on floor of distance from cash registers
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: now flour and sugar were gone
Riddle Sideways: people are having fun baking with the kids at home
Adams Rubble: some of the shortages are a mystery
Riddle Sideways: Did you know that Tofu is gone? not in any stores
Adams Rubble: did not know that
Adams Rubble: capaitalism has not had its best showing in this crisis
Riddle Sideways: Back to the Last Supper Seder
Riddle Sideways: That famous picture
Adams Rubble: yes?
Adams Rubble: Leonardo?
Riddle Sideways: is it ok that so much liberty was taken with people at the table?
Adams Rubble giggles
Riddle Sideways: meaning, nobody at a seder table sits on just one side of the table
Adams Rubble: the artists and the clergy often were at odds
Riddle Sideways: Plus, every seder always has a photo taken 1.before everybody sits down (to show how nice the table looked) and 2.with everybody seated to document who was there
Riddle Sideways: where are the photos of that Last Supper
Adams Rubble: Ansel Adams had a previous appointment
Riddle Sideways: at the least, there would be a bragging letter written to an Auntie. Telling how great the table was, who the special people at our table and how good the soup was
Riddle Sideways: right. you answered that. The clergy know and have that letter
Riddle Sideways: and the Artist did not reference it
Riddle Sideways: now have the Da Vinci novel and Tom Hanks movie stuck in head
Adams Rubble: if you chose Veronese's attempt instead you will see that everyone was there :)
Riddle Sideways: the whole conspiracy therory
Adams Rubble: but he had to change the name for that reason
Adams Rubble: https://www.researchgate.net/figure/...fig1_307683286
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: thanks, a search (not that link) here and looked at the first search result (an advert of course) on Art.com
Riddle Sideways: only the center part of main piece
Riddle Sideways: that sells for $84
Riddle Sideways: but wait.
Riddle Sideways: for only $153, you can get a signature version
Riddle Sideways: ???? Wha ? singature?
Adams Rubble: the clergy were not happy with the dogs, dwarfs, etc
Riddle Sideways: dogs need to be there
Adams Rubble: that's what Veronese said
Adams Rubble: now that I think about it, Monty Python did a funny routine about that
Adams Rubble: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9Aj7W3g1qo
Riddle Sideways: and they did the whole "Life of Brian" movie, which had a seder
Riddle Sideways: thanks, not seen a live one
Riddle Sideways: sorry, couldn't stop watching
Adams Rubble: Thank you for being here this morning. I hope you have a very good day :)
Adams Rubble: I know, they're engaging :)

Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: and the cheese shoppe
Adams Rubble: well I hope you have a good day
Riddle Sideways: and
Adams Rubble: I'll get out a note about Thursday
Riddle Sideways: "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"
Riddle Sideways: da dum da dum da ditty ditty dum
Adams Rubble: I have watched that a number of times during the pandemic :)
