Adams Rubble: We have had a few days of warm sunshine
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: heard from many east coasters that you had good weather
Riddle Sideways: it might have been sucked out of the west
Riddle Sideways: it is cold here
Adams Rubble: tomorrow begins two days of rain and cooler temps
Riddle Sideways: frost last night
Adams Rubble: wowza
Riddle Sideways: laying in bed thinking of the one plant that should have been brought inside last night
Adams Rubble: ohhh :(
Riddle Sideways: will have to go talk with it later
Riddle Sideways: appoligize
Riddle Sideways: last week at this time, voting was starting
Riddle Sideways: then voting stopped
Riddle Sideways: then the counting started
Riddle Sideways: then one side gets more than the other
Adams Rubble: and counted and counted and counted and counted
Adams Rubble: still counting
Riddle Sideways: and one is declared the next president
Riddle Sideways: and re-counting
Adams Rubble: and we are still alive to witness it
Riddle Sideways: a little sick, but still alive
Riddle Sideways: now reading about a vacine
Riddle Sideways: maybe mr. T got that done
Riddle Sideways: on his watch
Riddle Sideways: or at least he will take credit for it
Adams Rubble: the latter
Riddle Sideways: so, are you breathing easier with one issue maybe going away?
Riddle Sideways: the stress level down a bit?
Riddle Sideways: have been stressed for so long
Adams Rubble: yes
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: need that pause
Riddle Sideways: got the first rain last friday night
Riddle Sideways: it turned cold
Riddle Sideways: colorado got snow on the fires
Adams Rubble: yikes
Riddle Sideways: it became a good weekend to make a fire
Riddle Sideways: and sit and watch it
Riddle Sideways: read a book
Riddle Sideways: read almost all the NYtimes Sunday edition
Riddle Sideways: an article about the 70 million voters that think they lost
Riddle Sideways: and how to get them back
Riddle Sideways: and include them
Riddle Sideways: how to talk together
Riddle Sideways: how to Listen
Adams Rubble: there needs to be an effective antidote to all the lies they are being told
Riddle Sideways: ha, another vacine
Adams Rubble: I tried not to say that :)
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, there are 22 turkeys together out in the meadow

Riddle Sideways: maybe deciding where to hide
Riddle Sideways: funny birds
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: watching the nice SL sunset
Riddle Sideways: a mind flitting through many thoughts
Adams Rubble: I got into a very bad mood after Biden's speech Sunday
Adams Rubble: I could not understand why I was not happy
Adams Rubble: I meditated Sunday night and realized why
Adams Rubble: three things came to mind
Adams Rubble: 1. 70 million people voted for Trump after seeing what he was like for four years
Adams Rubble: 2. the Senate is staying republican and they will block any progress on addressing the problems of this country
Adams Rubble: 3. I thought the event should have been more somber considering how close we came to losing our Democracy
Adams Rubble: Trump is collectiong money for legal challenges and diverting it to settle campaign debt\
Riddle Sideways: re: #2 the devides have to heal
Riddle Sideways: instead of 2 sides. need to unite for the good of all
Adams Rubble: McConnel only is interested in power
Adams Rubble: how can we unite with him
Riddle Sideways: give McConnel the Power to heal
Riddle Sideways: get it to be him helping
Adams Rubble: I am sure Joe will try but I am pessimistic
Riddle Sideways: which eats away at your joy
Adams Rubble: we bit a bullet
Riddle Sideways: re: #3 that somber feeling also ate away at your happy celebration
Adams Rubble: good thing he will gone in two and a half months
Riddle Sideways: gee, what damage can he do in 2 months
Adams Rubble: he will need to be discredited in the eyes of the 70 million and not get a talk show to spout his hate
Riddle Sideways: needs his Tweeter account taken down
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: Tweeter already started putting notices on his tweets "the following contains lies"
Adams Rubble: some small steps are being taken including Fox news
Adams Rubble: sorry to be so negative.
Riddle Sideways: is ok
Riddle Sideways: it is the 70 million that are most troubling
Riddle Sideways: intelligent people that thought things that I cannot understand
Adams Rubble: for starters we need to understand that better
Riddle Sideways: have been trying
Adams Rubble: some of it is they belived the lies the R party told them about the socialist dems
Adams Rubble: afraid that battling climate change will change their lives for the worst
Adams Rubble: of course many still hold tracist views
Adams Rubble: many Trump voters in Philly and in Nj and in CA
Adams Rubble: oh yes, there are men who are afraid they will lose power
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: a general lack of compassion in that 70 milloionm
Riddle Sideways: a side question here, how do they know what race, gender, ancentrial origin voters are?
Riddle Sideways: did we fill that in on some registration?
Adams Rubble: they ask )
Adams Rubble: the pollsters
Adams Rubble: the most maligned group in US
Riddle Sideways: when I read that n millions of Latinan california voters voted for Trump
Riddle Sideways: how did they get those numbers
Riddle Sideways: that would be a lot of polling
Adams Rubble: they sample
Adams Rubble: lots and lots of pollsters
Adams Rubble: ohh, they also have precinct, ward and district numbers
Adams Rubble: know where the Latinos are concentrated
Riddle Sideways: and pollsters call here at make dinner time, so they get hung up on
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: so not get this poll answers
Riddle Sideways: "I am not a Number"
Adams Rubble: we do not answer the phone at dinner hour
Riddle Sideways: have a son that calls at random times
Riddle Sideways: so, have to check the caller id
Riddle Sideways: oh, new development. the Asian language phishing call now has pretty music in the background now!
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: as a start, have been calling some of the nice 70 million
Riddle Sideways: the ones that might be ok to chat with
Riddle Sideways: have made a list of the ones that are going to be much harder
Riddle Sideways: since the pandemic start, have sure been making lots of calls to check on people
Riddle Sideways: have a loud childhood (friend) that am dreading calling
Riddle Sideways: oh what to do?
Adams Rubble: unfiendly friend?
Riddle Sideways: a way of putting it
Riddle Sideways: the personage invisioned when thinking on what that side says
Adams Rubble: maybe do some compassion practice on him
Adams Rubble: may be be free from pain and suffering
Adams Rubble: may he be free from fear and anxiety
Adams Rubble: may he find joy and peace
Riddle Sideways: have tried, but need to 'do' more of that
Riddle Sideways: Try not Luke, Do
Riddle Sideways: can't think of him realizing he has pain, fear, etc.
Riddle Sideways: he is top of the world
Adams Rubble: all 70 million are suffering
Riddle Sideways: to them; it is us Others that have those issues
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: most especially the one i charge right now
Adams Rubble: I got shushed
Riddle Sideways: ha
Riddle Sideways: with G-d on his side. he has no remorse
Riddle Sideways: the 74+ million are the painful ones
Adams Rubble: I was watching a Netflix documentary on Dylan last night that was very informative
Adams Rubble: watched half
Riddle Sideways: oh good
Adams Rubble: have you seen it
Riddle Sideways: have seen some, not sure about this one
Riddle Sideways: and which Dylan is this you were talking about? ㋡
Adams Rubble: Bob
Riddle Sideways: not Thomas
Adams Rubble: not Thomas
Adams Rubble: all about Bob
Riddle Sideways: was thinking about Alec Turbeck last night
Riddle Sideways: learned he started out as a bi-lingural broadcaster
Riddle Sideways: somebody said that he showed that 'the question' is many times more important then the answer
Riddle Sideways: heard an instrumental bluegrassy version of a song
Riddle Sideways: had to go look up the words
Riddle Sideways: by The Youngbloods
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xisKouiWeVA
(in no way is this an indorsement of Robert Plant)
Riddle Sideways: "Darkness, Darkness. Hide my yearning"
Riddle Sideways: "For the things I cannot be"
Riddle Sideways: "Keep my mind from constant turning"
Riddle Sideways: "Toward the things I cannot see now"
Riddle Sideways: "Things I cannot see"
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: good note to end on
