Adams Rubble: have been reading about early Buddhist art in India this past week or so
    Riddle Sideways: /listens
Adams Rubble: started researching the touching earth gesture but has gone more broad
Adams Rubble: lots I had forgot and these kind of things are more complex than one remembers
Adams Rubble: the hand touching comes from the Lalitavistara Sutra
Adams Rubble: turns out it may have been written in Gandhara where the first image of Buddha touching the earth appears
Adams Rubble: I orderd what I thought was the Lalitavistara Sutra but it turns out to be only volume 2 which is OK for the gesture but the book stinks so that I am having trouble reading it
Adams Rubble: otherwise it is a beatiful book
Adams Rubble: I think it is from dampness
    Adams Rubble: mildewed
Adams Rubble: not good for health
    Riddle Sideways: ah, actual stink
    Adams Rubble: hehe, yes

Adams Rubble: The book rambles in the text but is supposed to be more succinct in its verse
    Adams Rubble: It alternates

Adams Rubble: people should not sell mildewed books
Adams Rubble: unless they say so
Riddle Sideways: there should have been a 'condition' stated
Adams Rubble: it was rated good

Riddle Sideways: searching back in your blog. maybe recalling there was early Buddhist art posting, but can't find quickly
Riddle Sideways: did read a sailing story that left one wondering
    Adams Rubble: ah, yes
Adams Rubble: hint: Adams Rubble is not the female pilot
    Riddle Sideways: ah
Adams Rubble: one would think so, wouldn't one
Riddle Sideways: sometimes, don't want to know the authors intentions
Adams Rubble: as they say in Monty Python and the Holy Grail "I am not dead yet"
Riddle Sideways: 'Bring Out Yer Dead'
Adams Rubble: It was a dream
Riddle Sideways: love a short story that leaves more to think about than the number of words in it ㋡
       --BELL--
Adams Rubble: can be read in different ways
Adams Rubble: one wakes up and says I wonder what that was all about

Riddle Sideways: had a dream last night that was simple, clear and recalled completely at 4am. Not much left at 6:30 when writing
Adams Rubble: that has happened to me
Adams Rubble: think one will remember but whammo
    Adams Rubble: all gone
    Riddle Sideways: yep
Riddle Sideways: fingers hover over keyboard. Nothing of the dream comes back
Adams Rubble: fingers squeeze the pen. Nothing of the dream comes bac
    Adams Rubble: :)

Adams Rubble: California has a new senator
Adams Rubble: NJ would like a new one but how to get rid of the old one
Adams Rubble: whoops here she is bye
    Riddle Sideways: oh ok

Riddle Sideways: need to research senator News
Riddle Sideways: this weekend, went to a Dawali celebration. Last year it was so nice. This year they technically could not get it together.
Riddle Sideways: had a published program, but the MC could not follow it. Would start announcing what was happening next and that performer was not available.
Riddle Sideways: or would start to announce serving dinner and the kitchen would flag that it was not ready
Riddle Sideways: the microphone would not be on as he started talking, then blast out, then music would start when no dancers were ready yet, etc.
       --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: well !!!! went browsing for News on CA senator. click toward a big famous web name site and got that popup about having tracking, cookies, adverts and blocking on and they can not give good detailed info unless they can sell my personal details
Riddle Sideways: At least they were truthful about monetizing
Adams Rubble: It looks like the visit is going to go past the hour. That sounds like a crazy program.
Adams Rubble: have a very good week
Riddle Sideways: thanks. and you have a very good week
    Riddle Sideways: take care
