    You're about to read another paragraph, right here.  Business as usual.  There is a world, unfolding in time, you are part of it, and you decided to read a paragraph.  But wait a minute.  Literally just a minute.  Is this all there is?  World in time, you in world, living, dying?  What if there was a far wider way to dance in/with/as the presence of what appears?

    Okay, one more paragraph, indulging in the seeming flow of time.  But after this second paragraph, that's it, at least for now, whatever now may come to mean.  You are invited to celebrate the presence of appearance.  In other words, you are invited to play as Being.  And no preparation is needed.  What is more, no preparation is possible.  You already Are.  And what you Are is All of what Is, beyond all dualities of part and whole, one or many, life and death, subject and object.

    So please sit/stand/be with this for one minute.

    Could you do that?

    Could you just be with what is, with what presented itself as such, without hiding in the constructs of mine and thine, of past and present and future?

    Perhaps you got a glimpse of what that might be like, quite possibly much more than a glimpse.  Or maybe it felt like nothing happened.  Either way, that's fine.  What you really are is beyond success and failure, simply because it is beyond all dichotomies whatsoever.  It's very simple: nothing is needed.

    Let's try again, one more minute.  Taste what it could be like if truly nothing is needed, if all is complete in a way that jumps the bounds of any interpretation in terms of good or bad, or whatever dualities.  Just watch what appears, and feel its presence.  That is enough.  Nothing you have to do with it, no processing, interpreting, no hope or fear, no plans or worries.

    That's it.

    Isn't it delightful, to learn to Be, to rediscover and accept what is our birthright?

    Ah, you have a question?  You feel you don't yet know how to do this, or whether you do it correctly?

    The answer is simple.  Just don't try to do anything, including the form of doing that is called worrying about doing it correctly or not.

    No need to fight with yourself.  No need to get a clear theory about what it could be to be.  Just be.

    I know.  It seems hard, if not impossible.

    Okay.  Here's a proposal.  For the next two weeks, indulge yourself.  Plunge in.  Just try it, taste it, and put aside any reservations you may have.  Then, after two weeks, we can look back and try to make sense of it all.  Fair enough?

    As much as you can, gather little moments that you can spare, to just Be.  A few seconds here, a minute there. While waiting in line.  While walking through a door or hallway.  While stretching your back for a moment.  While waiting for the elevator to come.  Or while strolling in a park or looking out the window.  Each short break you take is a gift, and a doorway into what Is.

    Each time you accept that gift, you can just stay with the presence of appearance, with a deep sense that that is enough. Nothing else is needed.

    Typically we take a few years to learn something: to play a musical instrument, say, or to learn a language.  Two weeks is just about 1% of a few years.  But it may be enough to learn to Be.  It may be the best gift you can give yourself.

    Before you die, why not take two weeks to find out how it is that there is no you that can die and no time to die in?

    Time and again: if you can, then just Be.  If you still find that hard, then just play as Being.  Either way is fine.
