Catrinamonblue Resident: Sometimes I think about what I would do when retired..... and realistically I think it would be hard..... I sometimes think that I will just keep working as I do enjoy it well enough :)
Eliza Madrigal: not sure if it would be good to be in a writer's community rather than artists community...cross discipline etc
Aphrodite Macbain: What I had was strong motivation and enjoyment of writing - that kept me going when I wrote my 100 page "journal". Discipline didn't need to come into it. I LOVED writing. It's fun to make up your world
Aphrodite Macbain: An artits community would be even better Eliza- a wide variety of creative minds :-)
Catrinamonblue Resident: then perhaps you should try and be published :) if it's a love like that... I always found it hard to get past rough draft stage :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Some of the Islands off the coast have a lot of artists living there full time
