    New people

Bleu Oleander: steve told me he had a couple of new people sat to his session
Bleu Oleander: as a result of listing it
Eden Haiku: Yes, I just read his session. A new visitor did stay:)
Bleu Oleander: so we may try a few different times
Bleu Oleander: would be fun to get some new people
Eden Haiku: Yes, thought so too. I was taking a notecard from the board just in case.
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eden Haiku: Didn't realize you and Cat were already here, sorry. My scanner must be off :)
Bleu Oleander: just got here before you
Eden Haiku: Yes, would be nice to have new blood :) Hard to renew ourselves all the time :)
    Bleu Oleander: yes :)
Bleu Oleander: the theatre is bringing new people here too
Bleu Oleander: rehearsals have begun for "Vaudeville"
Bleu Oleander: March 20 is the production here in our theatre
Eden Haiku: I didn't even get to open the cardboard viewer's box for virtual reality yet :(
Bleu Oleander: will be interested to see if you like that
Eden Haiku: Don't like Vaudeville much :(
Eden Haiku: Oh viewer you meant :)
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Eden Haiku: Answered a one-week old email this morning. Still have some mails to write. Organizing trip to France too.
Eden Haiku: Almost done but details to work out
Eden Haiku: When are you going to New York Bleu? April is it?
    Bleu Oleander: yes April
Bleu Oleander: we are doing a day at Yale and 2 days in NYC
    Eden Haiku: Great!
    Bleu Oleander: can't wait :)
    Bleu Oleander: are you traveling?
Eden Haiku: We had a wonderful Spring day here yesterday. Went for a 3 hours walk in the sun:)
    Bleu Oleander: oh lovely
Bleu Oleander: its nice here too
Bleu Oleander: had dinner outside last night
    Bleu Oleander: perfect weather
Eden Haiku: Today, gray skies though...and snowfall this morning,
Eden Haiku: Can't wait to be by the North Sea in Normandy in May :) With apple trees in bloom....
Bleu Oleander: ah will be nice
Eden Haiku: Oh, dinner outside is still far away for us here...
    Bleu Oleander: :)

    TSK Art

Bleu Oleander: we have some photos up in the art gallery btw
    Bleu Oleander: for TSK "Space"
Bleu Oleander: will you do one?
Eden Haiku: Spring day meant snowy paths and like four ABOVE zero. You can take your gloves off to snap a picture but that's about it :)
    Bleu Oleander remembers those days!

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Oh yes, just saw your Kapoor photo. Lovely. Is it from one of his work?
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Bleu Oleander: I have a notecard in it
Eden Haiku: Liked Bruce's pics also. Oh, in the gallery I guess. I just looked on the wiki.
Bleu Oleander: the artist describing his work:

“A single object, a single form, a single color.” “My ambition”, he adds, “is to create a space within a space . . . Visitors will be invited to walk inside the work, to immerse themselves in color, and it will, I hope, be a contemplative and poetic experience. . . . the work will not merely speak to us visually, but will lead the visitor on a journey of total sensorial and mental discovery. . . . this work questions what we think we know about art, our body, our most intimate experiences and our origins. To manage, through strictly physical means, to offer a completely new emotional and philosophical experience.”

Bleu Oleander: I liked his ideas about his work ... seemed to go with our explorations of TSK
Eden Haiku: It does sound very similar yes! And the red color is compelling!
Bleu Oleander: yes, I really like his work
Eden Haiku: The red color reminded me of the anger I felt reading TSK chapter 4...:)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bleu Oleander: its a very rich passionate red
Bleu Oleander: would have loved to see that piece in rl
Eden Haiku: And the way it spirals inward/ upwards....
Bleu Oleander: it was a piece that you could walk into
    Bleu Oleander: was in Paris
Eden Haiku: Kapoor exposes mainly in Paris I think?
Bleu Oleander: we have one of his pieces here in our art museum
Bleu Oleander: and I've seen many of his shows in NYC
Eden Haiku: Yes, saw online, but never seen his work in RL.
Bleu Oleander: I loved his sky mirror
    Bleu Oleander: in NYC
Eden Haiku: Is that the the piece in Chicago?
    Eden Haiku: Ah' I  see
    Bleu Oleander: https://www.publicartfund.org/view/exhibitions/5775_sky_mirror
Bleu Oleander: the bean is in Chicago
Bleu Oleander: that's a nice piece too
Eden Haiku: Thanks Bleu :) Will check the link later,

    Cushions and fashion

Eden Haiku: Are the cushions here your creation Bleu?
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Bleu Oleander: I made 4 different sets of poses
Eden Haiku: Whenever you have time, do you think you could create an animation so we can sit here in a skirt?
    Bleu Oleander: there is one
Bleu Oleander: this one is nice
Eden Haiku: I always have to wear long underpants with a skirt, otherwise, it exposes your thighs a lot...
Bleu Oleander: oh that's just a function of the skirt
Bleu Oleander: sl skirts made with prims
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, this one, but it looks a bit too "lady like" to my taste...
Bleu Oleander: if you fine a pose in sl somewhere I can add it to a few of the cushions
Bleu Oleander: the corners cushions have the laying down pose
Eden Haiku: How do you look up for that on Marketplace? Pose balls?
    Bleu Oleander: sit animations
Bleu Oleander: I tried to combine the best of what's out there
Eden Haiku: Sit animations. Thanks! I will look them up and let you know Bleu.
Bleu Oleander: I'm not an animation creator
Bleu Oleander: there are some good stores tho
Bleu Oleander: I tried many before selecting all these
Bleu Oleander: I wanted some that included water poses
Eden Haiku: And I'm not too good with using animations :) But I do like my princess flexi skirts :)
Bleu Oleander: and some meditation poses
    Bleu Oleander: and some casual
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, when wearing pants they are excellent poses,
Eden Haiku: I just get tired enough of being in pants in RL because it’s still cold here :)
X Bleu Oleander: nothing I can do about flexi skirts ... just the way prims are in sl
Eden Haiku: Yes, so I guess, most sit animations are like that:)
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Bleu Oleander: prims will always fall that way
Eden Haiku: Maybe I could host sessions standing up hehe
    Bleu Oleander: try floating :)

And I did float, missing Cat’s comment about her phone call...

    Bleu Oleander: hehe

    Happy Birthday Catrina!

Catrinamonblue Resident: back, apologies it was my aunt wishing me a happy b-day :)
    Bleu Oleander: oh HB!
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :) ty
Eden Haiku: Hi Cat, we were discussing seating animations and flexi skirts :)
Bleu Oleander: you look lovely floating Eden
    Catrinamonblue Resident: high fashion :)
Eden Haiku: Not sure if hosting from floating would be quite dignified if you end up having new visitors :)
    Bleu Oleander: hehe

    --BELL--

Bleu Oleander: they might like it!
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Eden Haiku: LOL
Eden Haiku: So you are taking a day off Cat?
Catrinamonblue Resident: kinda, was not feeling well this morning so brought work laptop home
    Eden Haiku: Ah, good idea!
Eden Haiku: Riddle must be traveling for his job opportunity. I'm happy for him.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Bleu Oleander: nice :)
Eden Haiku: Did you see Bleu and Bruce TSK drawings on the wiki Catrina?
    Eden Haiku: Very interesting abstractions
Bleu Oleander: they are in the art gallery too
Catrinamonblue Resident: I haven't had a chance, nor any time to spend on TSK this week at all.....
Eden Haiku: That would be an idea: to have a drawing as a report on chapter 4;)
Bleu Oleander: I like that Bruce has links to animated versions too
    Bleu Oleander: yes Eden!
Eden Haiku: Words seem so useless....
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, saw the animations though email links:)
Bleu Oleander: they are the best we have for sharing our thoughts ... other than music and art
Bleu Oleander: but I agree that art seems easier at least for me to show some of these ideas
Eden Haiku: I love words but chapter 4 is quite a challenge isn'it? No exercises per se.... except revisiting
    Bleu Oleander: it is!
Eden Haiku: I can't stop thinking this is so patriarchal to keep talking about "the ordinary view". Just try being a woman!
    Bleu Oleander: !!!
Eden Haiku: You guess why I envision using images rather than words :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)

    Writing challenge

Eden Haiku: I also have a very challenging 4 pages essay to write for a literary magazine, so it takes up much of my time...
Bleu Oleander: ah yes that would
Eden Haiku: Seems I can’t find a starting point....
Eden Haiku: Or maybe I can is the problem: I have one, much too obvious and much too personal. So it's blocking me...
Catrinamonblue Resident: oh cool Eden on the magazine part... hopefully a starting point will present itself
    Eden Haiku: Words words words....
Eden Haiku: Yes, I keep hoping it will appear in a dream or something :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: maybe start with the too personal and see where it leads? maybe something else will come out of it?
Eden Haiku: But the obvious one is blinding me :)

    --BELL--

X Eden Haiku: Oh yes, that’s a good idea Cat, get it off my chest and off my mind..,,. Will try that, thanks. (I did, and it worked! Thanks Cat :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Bleu Oleander: must go ladies ... feel better Cat and happy birthday ... take care
    Catrinamonblue Resident: bye Bleu :)
    Eden Haiku: Bye Bleu!
Catrinamonblue Resident: I should go to
    Bleu Oleander: bye bye
Eden Haiku: have a great day
Catrinamonblue Resident: and try and do a bit of work :)
Eden Haiku: Happy Birthday? Is it today sweetheart?
Catrinamonblue Resident: see you later Eden :) good luck :)
    Eden Haiku: Hugs
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes today :) another year older
Eden Haiku: Have a good warm quiet peaceful day :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eden Haiku: Many good wishes to you dear!
