Eden Haiku: Yes, I was stalling :)
Eden Haiku: Coughing my heart out :)
    Riddle Sideways: oh dear!
Eden Haiku: Have been sick for almost a week and it won't go away :(
    Riddle Sideways: tis the season
Riddle Sideways: know several people that it won't go away for
Eden Haiku: Yes, season and working for hours a day on proofreading, and walking 10,000 steps.
Eden Haiku: Stayed in bed on Saturday though...
Riddle Sideways: so much to do, so little time and energy
Riddle Sideways:good, an all day in bed is a great day
Riddle Sideways: except we wait for a day of sick to enjoy it :(
Eden Haiku: yeah, I felt good on Sunday and then it came back, the coughing, the fever ...
Riddle Sideways: well, hope you get well soon
Eden Haiku: Right, we should take bed holidays for no reason at all :) Good morning Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: or go to doctor and get it checked
    Eden Haiku: Thanks Riddle.
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Adams
Riddle Sideways: did not see the leaping down the path today
Eden Haiku: Didn't see the leap either :)
Adams Rubble: sorry, mysterious phone call just as I arrived
    Riddle Sideways: ooooo a mystery
    Eden Haiku: a mystery!!!
    Adams Rubble: Good morning
Eden Haiku: Did you win a cruise to Alaska Adams?
    Adams Rubble: egads, no
Eden Haiku: We win a lot of cruises to Alaska here :)

    Eagles

Adams Rubble: Just read about the eagles at some town and don’t want to go there although I hear you can see Russia
    Riddle Sideways: laughs
Riddle Sideways: eagles over-winter at a little lake near here
Adams Rubble turns up the complexity slider to see Eden
Eden Haiku: remembers a local TV show in which one of a lady character received one of these emails from Africa stating she had an inheritance from such rich relative
Adams Rubble: looking good Eden :)
Eden Haiku: Thank you, my fever doesn't show :)
    Adams Rubble: https://story.californiasunday.com/dirty-birds
Adams Rubble: scroll down to the eagles on the ship or dock or whatever
Eden Haiku: In real life, these emails are frauds, but in the TV show, the lady got the inheritance and became very rich. It was an interesting twist:)
    Adams Rubble giggles
Adams Rubble: there are so many rich people in Africa giving away money
    Eden Haiku: Indeed :)
Riddle Sideways: kinda hard to believe
Adams Rubble: The colonists took all the money
Adams Rubble is going off again
    Adams Rubble: Be nice Adams!
Riddle Sideways: back... was looking at the eagles story.
    Riddle Sideways: thanks

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Eagles eating from garbage Adams?
Adams Rubble: stealing people's cell phones and not leting them get into the post office without a helmet and a big stick
    Eden Haiku: Oh!
    Eden Haiku:Frightening birds!
Adams Rubble:Alfred Hitchcock would be proud of them
    Adams Rubble: would have been
    Eden Haiku: yes!
    Adams Rubble: no more
Adams Rubble: I hope they are letting you have a little Spring Eden :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, sun was out all day yesterday and today as well :)
    Adams Rubble: Spring, Eden
    Adams Rubble: nice
Riddle Sideways: who is this "They" you speak of?
Adams Rubble: our daffodils were flattened in the cold spell we had
Adams Rubble: the proverbial "they", Riddle

    Proofreading

Eden Haiku: But proofreading takes a toll... I question every decision I made...
Eden Haiku: The proofreading lady is quite thorough...
Riddle Sideways: you'll need the reasons for the decisions for all the talk shows
    Eden Haiku: ahaha
Riddle Sideways: "Why did you make Bobby wear a blue bow tie"?
Adams Rubble: hmmm, I never considered that PaB sessions are like a talk show
Eden Haiku: I have the last word but I keep dreaming of all the micro-decisions I have to make through the 350 or so pages...
    Riddle Sideways: hmmm, still haven't
Adams Rubble: There is still time Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: ok
Eden Haiku: Main problem is when I use words or expressions from childhood...She doesn't come from the same area I guess :)
Eden Haiku: Or the same era :)
Eden Haiku: Sorry about my rambling....
    Riddle Sideways: no
Eden Haiku: Have proofreading work for a few more weeks....
Adams Rubble: ohhh. Looking back to see what I missed, I hope you feel better soon Eden
Eden Haiku: It gets to my pulmonary system :)
Eden Haiku: Just having to work on proofreading with a flu Adams :)
    Adams Rubble: :(
Riddle Sideways: keeping eyes focused that want to just close
Eden Haiku: Just being asked to let go of the capital at Time, I feel shaken....
Eden Haiku: Yes Riddle, I do take a lot of naps....
Eden Haiku: I love capitals :)
    Riddle Sideways: or not
Eden Haiku: And sometimes I notice I write in English though I'm writing in French. She's good at catching me at that :)
Riddle Sideways: switching without noticing? wow
Eden Haiku: We all do that in Quebec, so she's kind of used to it...
    Eden Haiku:
No, I mean it’s in French but the syle is in English...
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: complicated
Eden Haiku: It's a good thing we work only on computers though. So it doesn't become too emotional. ..
    Riddle Sideways: 2 degrees removed

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: I will send the corrections when I'm finished and we aren't directly in touch....
Eden Haiku: Which is a good thing :)
Eden Haiku: But enough with me, how is your own Spring?
Riddle Sideways: that was a pet old cat 90 sec pause
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Eden Haiku: Oh.... so cuuute
Eden Haiku: Dear old cat :)
Riddle Sideways: figuring out how to speel Bronchial, to warn of issues you might need to go get checked
Eden Haiku: Yes thanks Riddle, I will go see my doctor if it,s not over in a few days...
Riddle Sideways: Sister waited over a week and now has to take expensive pills
Eden Haiku: I'm taking elderberry organic syrup. Manukah very expensive honey, echinacea tincture....
Riddle Sideways: never sure of that word "tincture"
Eden Haiku: Trying to stay away from antibiotics but sometimes you can't....
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Eden Haiku: It's essence of echinacea diluted in a bit of alcohol
Riddle Sideways: but... 3 doctors stated they were needed
Riddle Sideways: oh, know what a tincture is. it is the word that is 'funny'
Eden Haiku: The bottle doesn't read " tincture" in English. It just says "extract" of echinacea.
Eden Haiku: I was creatively translating :)
Riddle Sideways: and what made you decide to use that word?
    Riddle Sideways: haha :)
Eden Haiku: Any exciting events during the week end Riddle, Adams?
Eden Haiku: In French it's "teinture"....It thought "tincture' was the translation. I don't know how to use words anymore :(
Eden Haiku: This morning at breakfast I declared that I love reading novels

Eden Haiku: From now on, I will only read novels, Not write them :(
Riddle Sideways: quite a statement ... for breakfast
Riddle Sideways: did you lay awake all night thinking it through?
Eden Haiku: Between a game of Word with Friends, checking emails and Twitter and the local paper online :) I can get pretty intense at breakfast
Eden Haiku: No, slept 8 hours. But dreaming about words, words, and words...

    --BELL--

    My brilliant friend

Eden Haiku: Riddle, maybe your partner's book club has been readingElena Ferrante's My brilliant friend? It's quite a novel. I'm reading volume 3, it's still as good! [seehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neapolitan_Novels]

Riddle Sideways: is it allowed in Word with Friends to use both English and French words in the same game?
Eden Haiku: No, not allowed. I'm playing only in French :)
Riddle Sideways: not seen that book around. Not sure they have read multi-volume, multi-month books. will ask
Eden Haiku: Ferrante is an italian novelist. I'm reading her in French, the translation is excellent, I guess it's very readable in English too. She stayed anonymous but is now an international bestseller,
Eden Haiku: It's about a life-long friendship between two women born in Napoli in 1944.
Riddle Sideways: NYTimes booklist makes authors known
Riddle Sideways: soon to be an HBO series
Eden Haiku: She used a pseudonym and didn't want to go public.
Riddle Sideways: So many women Sci-Fi writers would use only initials instead of their name
Riddle Sideways: and men used full first name
    Riddle Sideways: was odd
    Riddle Sideways: mostly gone now
Adams Rubble: rl interruption. bye if you go before i return
    Riddle Sideways: ok, Adams
Eden Haiku: Yes, still a lot of sexism in the world... The book sells better if it's a man's name or initials like J.K.Rowling.
Eden Haiku: Bye Adams, have a great Monday
Riddle Sideways: then they get famous as J.K. so have to continue the practice
Eden Haiku: And now we all know she's a woman :)
Riddle Sideways: yet, her first name is still J.K.
    Eden Haiku: Ttue :)

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Sorry I have been so talkative this morning....
    Riddle Sideways: why be sorry?
Riddle Sideways: less coughing when typing
Eden Haiku: Well, I'm not being a very good host when I keep catching the microphone :)
Eden Haiku: I guess I needed complaining :)
Eden Haiku: Poor sick me ....
Riddle Sideways: is a good host that knows their guests have nothing to say or add
    Adams Rubble: back
Riddle Sideways: heats your tea up again and passes a tissue over
Eden Haiku: Sometimes the achemy is good, sometimes we are on three different pages
Riddle Sideways: can't type wel come back
Eden Haiku: Welcome back Adams, Eagles and cats and words....
    Riddle Sideways: but mostly words
Adams Rubble: I sure do hope this nasty thing passes soon, Eden
Eden Haiku: Thanks for the tea and the tissue Riddle. Very welcome :)
