The Guardian for this meeting was Adams Dubrovna subbing for Adams Rubble. The comments are by Adams Dubrovna.

I was a bit late but Riddle knew I would be; I see he commented to the Master Listener. National events were a bit unsettling the past few days and this took up a good bit of our conversation. The title is a reference to one national event today. It took until the end to open our hearts.

Riddle Sideways: Master Listener, please calm down, Adams will be a bit late today
    --BELL--
Adams Dubrovna: Good morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Good Morning, Adams D.
Riddle Sideways: nice to see you
Riddle Sideways: it has been some time
Adams Dubrovna: yes, good to see you too
Riddle Sideways: hope Adams is ok from Dental work
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    Adams Dubrovna: just fine
Adams Dubrovna: Giving the lynching talk in RL again tonight
Riddle Sideways: you have given that talk before
    Riddle Sideways: how many times?
Adams Dubrovna: very timely with the award of the freedom medal to a racist
Adams Dubrovna: this will be the second time in RL
Adams Dubrovna: doing some tweeks for this one
Riddle Sideways: and do you change it each time and for each group?
    Riddle Sideways: ah
Adams Dubrovna: I received some requests to do it again
Riddle Sideways: Rush L. was so gone from memory. that it was a shock to even hear his name
Adams Dubrovna: and the mafia wife putting the medal around his neck
Riddle Sideways: and his total surprise act
    Riddle Sideways: and almost tears
Adams Dubrovna: it may have been an actual surprise
Riddle Sideways: big surprises are not a good thing to do to weak heart people
Adams Dubrovna: the Senate trial was reminiscent of the trials of white perpetrators of Black lynchings
    Riddle Sideways: Yes!!
Adams Dubrovna: even down to the smirking of the forman of the jury
Riddle Sideways: Judge says "Innocent, now don't waste the courts time!"
Riddle Sideways: am so mad at Moscow Mitch
Riddle Sideways: What can one do to get him not re-elected?
Riddle Sideways: from another state, what can one do?
    Adams Dubrovna: perservere
    Riddle Sideways: ok,
Adams Dubrovna: I'm giving a talk about lynching
Riddle Sideways: good, looking around for something to DO
Adams Dubrovna: I know you are doing stuff to help people
Adams Dubrovna: embrace Mitt and people like him :)
    Riddle Sideways: locally
Riddle Sideways: need to do something in (whatever state?)
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: could setup computer to make a fake local phone number and call all the people there
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    Riddle Sideways: hmmm no
Adams Dubrovna: we could make sure that we remain united heading for November 3
Riddle Sideways: could make a thousand fake FB accounts that could be Russian and pass a rumor about Mitch
    Riddle Sideways: nope, being done
    Riddle Sideways: ok, Unite
Riddle Sideways: ummm, who should we unite behine?
    Riddle Sideways: *behind
Adams Dubrovna: Trump and his base are going to get even more arrogant and dangerous in the coming days
Riddle Sideways: his Tweet machine will go off the charts
Adams Dubrovna: it will be an ugly time
Riddle Sideways: Greatest Innocent person yet
Adams Dubrovna: he went ballistic at the national prayer breakfast this morning
Riddle Sideways: the Blasting of Romny
Riddle Sideways: Not heard news yet today
Riddle Sideways: he goes to National Prayer breakfasts?
    Adams Dubrovna: heh heh
Adams Dubrovna: you can read about it later
Adams Dubrovna: he also is giving a speech this afternoon
Riddle Sideways: those evil dems that expect him to hold to his oath
Riddle Sideways: the best is" "It is in National Interest that he get re-elected"
Adams Dubrovna: if no one gets shot and the Dems can hold a convention without riots, this year will be better than 1968
Riddle Sideways: shivers! That was a bad political year
    Riddle Sideways: Chicago was bad
    Adams Dubrovna: yes
Riddle Sideways: was too young to be there
Adams Dubrovna did not want to be there
Adams Dubrovna: one of our roomates through the only toilet paper out of the high rise dorm when Eugene McCarthy lost the count
Adams Dubrovna: we almost threw him out after it
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Riddle Sideways: a year later and would have probably traveled to that Chicago
Adams Dubrovna: it made Nixon president
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: was a very angry young'in. Then went Vegetarian L)
Riddle Sideways: Right!! must Unite or we get Nixon again
Riddle Sideways: never thought to say there are worst than Nixon
    Adams Dubrovna nods
Riddle Sideways: let's remember... Didn't Nixon cover up some illegal actions?
Adams Dubrovna: Nixon was not as reckless and seemd to care some for the country in his own way
Adams Dubrovna: he is responsoble for the southern strategy
Adams Dubrovna: but that may be more due to the Civil Rights act; Nixon just took advantage
Riddle Sideways: need to get a scorecard out and check how many tweets will translate to "I am Not a Crook"
Adams Dubrovna: Reagan ratcheted up the coding of racisim
Adams Dubrovna: yes, Nixon believed the American people should know if their president is a crook :)
Adams Dubrovna: Reagan launched the "crack" epidemic on the cities
Riddle Sideways: and so mr.T told us he is not a crook and had a perfect phone call
Riddle Sideways: he has done nothing wrong
Riddle Sideways: abuse of power is in the eye of the beholder
Adams Dubrovna: Trump was raised to be a crook
    Adams Dubrovna: and a racist
Adams Dubrovna: anyway one answer to what we can do is to practice more
Riddle Sideways: good thing we did not get to see his tax returns
Adams Dubrovna: I have been reading Pema Chodron
Adams Dubrovna: When we are most in agnguish is when we need to practice more deeply
Adams Dubrovna: when we are suffering
    Riddle Sideways: good
Adams Dubrovna: that helps us to better understand the suffering of others
Adams Dubrovna: makes us better see that we are like them
Adams Dubrovna: helps us see the good in others
Riddle Sideways: read many Mother Theresa quotes yesterday
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
Adams Dubrovna: Mitt Romney's speech was beautiful
Riddle Sideways: as you say that helps See those right in front of us
    Riddle Sideways: can act Locally
    Riddle Sideways: within arms reach
Adams Dubrovna: we disagree on almost everything but he is a decent human being
Adams Dubrovna: we need to see that and embrace that
Adams Dubrovna: all the rest of the Republican senators were too afraid to stand up for what they know is right
Riddle Sideways: he is being vilified for speaking true
Riddle Sideways: many whispered what they felt
Adams Dubrovna: yes, and that vilification may be what helps people to vote against Trump and the other Senators
Riddle Sideways: then stood and voted against themselves and those they represent
Riddle Sideways: the loser stands far away and types into a remote phone the tweets calling him :a Loser"
Adams Dubrovna: some will be trying to kill him
Riddle Sideways: *(1st loser should be Bully)
Riddle Sideways: very good that the Whistle blower never was publically broadcast
Riddle Sideways: would have been killed
    Riddle Sideways: lynched
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: very fearful to watch any candidate debate T
Riddle Sideways: repeat of those SNL debate skits
    Adams Dubrovna sighs

Focusing on the Suffering of the Oppressors

Riddle Sideways: huge puffs of smoke and lightening, "All who oppose the Great and Powerful Oz shall be ..."
Riddle Sideways: need to practice seeing behind the curtain
Riddle Sideways: a small fearful man who has to lie to be popular
Adams Dubrovna: he is a very unhappy man. Nothing will ever make him happy. He has no self-knowlegde and lives life in ignorance. If he was not making so many other people unhappy, we would feel compassion for him
Adams Dubrovna: he lives in his own hell
    Riddle Sideways: true
Adams Dubrovna: maybe at our own private PaB prayer breakfast this mornign we should say a prayer for him and the senatoirs
Adams Dubrovna: May they learn to be happy by seeing reality more clearly
Adams Dubrovna: May their hearts open up with compassion for themselves and for tohers
    Adams Dubrovna: others\
Adams Dubrovna: May all those who supprt him learn to be happy as well by seeing reality more clearly
Adams Dubrovna: and remembering to love
    Adams Dubrovna: Amen
Riddle Sideways: (repeats that over and over) Amen
Adams Dubrovna: Thank you for waiting for me this morning
Adams Dubrovna: I hope you have a good day and find some peace from all the chaos surrounding us
