    Wol Euler smiles.
Riddle Sideways: Or that flapper detective in Melbourne

Eliza Madrigal: Have been thinking about her quite a bit, good to hear that
    Wol Euler: hello ara
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ara :)
    arabella Ella: Hiya!
Aphrodite Macbain: as she is an epidemiologist she is very busy
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Ara
    Wol Euler: right
Wol Euler: and presumably very frustrated
Eliza Madrigal: good! we need lots of busy epidemiologists right now
Aphrodite Macbain: working for the government
Aphrodite Macbain: she feels a bit isolated as her family is elsewhere
    Bruce Mowbray nods.
Eliza Madrigal: She's not with her partner right now?
Aphrodite Macbain: I think she has 2 kids now
    Eliza Madrigal: must be tough
Almadi Masala: 's current display-name is "Alma di Masala".
    Wol Euler: wow
Aphrodite Macbain: her family is her partner + 2 kids
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Riddle Sideways: the family was in Florida when lockdown happened
    Aphrodite Macbain: right!
    Wol Euler: hello alma
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Alma :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Alma
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Alma!
Aphrodite Macbain: but she's at home working and they are still stuck in Florida
    Eliza Madrigal: I see
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi ALma
Aphrodite Macbain: It's been 2 years since I have spoken with her
Almadi Masala: hi Wol, Eliza, Aph, Arabella, Bleu, Bruce, Riddle
    Eliza Madrigal: time zipping by
    arabella Ella: Hi Alma!
Eliza Madrigal: I heard someone refer to a day this week as March 78th
    Wol Euler: heheheeh
Aphrodite Macbain: Does anyone ever see Storm?
    Wol Euler: no
    arabella Ella: no
    Riddle Sideways: not inworld
Aphrodite Macbain: I guess he's elsewhere
Eliza Madrigal: He left a comment on our first chat after returning to these sessions, but otherwise no... I think his computer isn't too friendly to SL these days
Aphrodite Macbain: For a while I was playing Scrabble with him. He beat me almost every time
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Wol Euler chuckles.
Bruce Mowbray: Has anyone heard more about Adams' family?
Eliza Madrigal: Did Nanowrimo with Storm a few years ago, which was great
    Aphrodite Macbain whispers no
    Wol Euler: ??
    Aphrodite Macbain: Nanowirmo?
Bruce Mowbray: He mentioned a brush with Covid... then a "miracle" - so I was wondering.
Riddle Sideways: think storm did not do that this year
Eliza Madrigal: Things are okay with Adams and fam from what I gather
    Wol Euler: good
Bruce Mowbray: Good to hear, Eliza.
Riddle Sideways: yes, they are better
Eliza Madrigal: :) Lots in logs guys!
    Wol Euler smiles.
Riddle Sideways: sorry. procrastination on the log postings
Aphrodite Macbain: I should read those logs more often
    arabella Ella: what is Nanowrimo?
Eliza Madrigal: I always at least skim, sort of keep the pulse
    arabella Ella: a game?
Riddle Sideways: ya can't read the ones not posted yet
Wol Euler: NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, what is that?
    Wol Euler: november
Eliza Madrigal: Nanowrimo is a writing month, yes
    arabella Ella: ah
    Aphrodite Macbain: oh right
    Aphrodite Macbain: which nation?
    Bruce Mowbray: Like, MOBY DICK?
    Riddle Sideways: all nations
Wol Euler: write a novel, defined as original fiction, between 1 and 30 november
Aphrodite Macbain: too late now--or too early
Eliza Madrigal: :) anything really... there are little games and meet-ups in RL and online
arabella Ella: and submit it to a publisher of your choice?
arabella Ella: or is it a competition?
    Wol Euler: https://www.nanowrimo.org/
    arabella Ella: ty
    Wol Euler: only against yourself
    Bruce Mowbray: TY, Wol.
Riddle Sideways: those SL detective stories were writtten novembers
Aphrodite Macbain: I feel sorry for those who have to read all the submissions
Eliza Madrigal: Mostly it is to get a practice going.... to push forward a bit with encouragement from lots of others doing the same
Eliza Madrigal: My daughter does it every year for about ten years
    Wol Euler: wow.
Eliza Madrigal: Yeah, she's freakish ^.^
Aphrodite Macbain: I have been trying to pavge a day but I keep forgetting to...
    Wol Euler: I am impressed
    Riddle Sideways: hahaha
Almadi Masala: I'm sorry, RL has intervened and I need to go
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh, bummer
Wol Euler: awwwww, bye alma, take care
    Eliza Madrigal: ntsy Alma
    Aphrodite Macbain: Take Care Alma
    Riddle Sideways: by Alma
Almadi Masala: bye, see you later
Bruce Mowbray: HOLY COW! 800,000 participants!
Riddle Sideways: beware that RL stuff
    arabella Ella: bye Alma
Eliza Madrigal: it is a huge thing
Bruce Mowbray: I guess it is!
    Bruce Mowbray: Yikes!

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: I write about 3 pages a day now consistently, but nothing that could be pulled into a book
Aphrodite Macbain: I have joined a Zoom group that practices Italian and today we discussed what we have learned during this period,, A third of us learned to bake bread!
Eliza Madrigal: would take a genius to piece the shards together
Riddle Sideways: think Storm turned it into a book
Aphrodite Macbain: Otheres practiced creative writing
Bruce Mowbray: Well, Eliza, you could throw the pages together randomly and call it "post modern."..... (?)
Riddle Sideways: the grocery stores are empty of flour
Aphrodite Macbain: and I practised yoga in fromt of the TV with YouTube.
Eliza Madrigal: Hah, Bruce, maybe... would take a genius to convince others of that too!
Wol Euler: Eliza, perhaps it's a book of short stories? Or perhaps you haven't yet written the "frame" for them all to become a novel?
Bruce Mowbray: I posted a vid on YouTube today.
Riddle Sideways: Started yoga with TV also Aph
Eliza Madrigal: I think it must be comfort seeking mostly... what makes us feel whole?
    Aphrodite Macbain: oh?
    Bruce Mowbray listens to Eliza.
arabella Ella: or perhaps Eliza you are too critical of your own work?
Aphrodite Macbain: Yoga with Adrian - it's gone viral!
arabella Ella: oh yes I have used some of Adriene's videos she is really great!
Eliza Madrigal: All those things, but it is strange that I began therapy and she turned out to be a creative writing coach as well
arabella Ella: everyone who has ever done yoga seems to know about her
    arabella Ella: and her dog
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Eliza Madrigal: Hm, I don't! And a dog?!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    arabella Ella: yes a cutie
Aphrodite Macbain: apparently it's gone all over the world. She is THE ddoyen of yoga now
Wol Euler: giving a new meaning to "dog position"
    arabella Ella: she certainly is!
    Bruce Mowbray: ha ha.
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol
    Eliza Madrigal grins
Riddle Sideways: good series on lower back pain
Aphrodite Macbain: Her dog sometimes comes and sits on her as she is in a yoga posture
    Wol Euler laughs.
Riddle Sideways: Now whole body hurts
Eliza Madrigal: Love it... will definitely find her
Aphrodite Macbain: That's the one I'm watchng Riddle!
Riddle Sideways: like goat yoga fad
Eliza Madrigal: Is that the video you posted, Bruce?
    Aphrodite Macbain: How odd
Bruce Mowbray: Today I saw a rose-breasted grosbeak at my birdfeeder for the first time this season
    Bruce Mowbray: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jIB...ature=youtu.be
    Bruce Mowbray: There it is.
Aphrodite Macbain: And I thpught I was doing something different!
    Eliza Madrigal clicks
arabella Ella: she seems to be a lovely person, some people I know travelled to the UK some months back and met her in person
Aphrodite Macbain: she's very nice and warm
Bruce Mowbray: I call it "Two-minute Lunch Break"
Aphrodite Macbain: and my back feels better!
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm going to try and do it everyday.
    Eliza Madrigal: How beautiful, Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, Eliza.
Bruce Mowbray: I just wish I'd washed the window before I made the vid.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Her's is a 30 minute set of stretches
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol
    Wol Euler: hehehe
Aphrodite Macbain: can you give us the url Bruce?
    Bruce Mowbray: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jIB...ature=youtu.be
    Riddle Sideways: oh same one
    Riddle Sideways: fun clicking links
    Eliza Madrigal: perfect for pause
Aphrodite Macbain: What kinds of birds are they Bruce?
    Aphrodite Macbain: a finch,
Bruce Mowbray: Goldfinches, indigo buntings, barn sparrows, and the grosbeak... plus bluejay ...
Santoshima Resident: 's current display-name is "San".
Aphrodite Macbain: I recognize but there is a yellow bird and a biggish b& w bird
Wol Euler: I thoght that was a jay. the grosbeak must be huge, it was at least as big as the jay
Bruce Mowbray: Yellowish bird is a goldfinch.
    Wol Euler: hello san
    Bleu Oleander: hi San :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: FAbulous Bruce
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi San
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi San
Riddle Sideways: grosbeak always sounds like the name the kids around school gave it
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, San'ji!
    arabella Ella: hi sa
    Riddle Sideways: Hey San
    arabella Ella: Hiya San
    Santoshima Resident: hello :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Do you use your phone as your ideo camera Bruce?
    Aphrodite Macbain: video
Riddle Sideways: finally got to the new exhibit, San. How long is the recomended length of time to stay in it?
    Santoshima Resident: well, depends
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I used my Samsung Galaxy phone as the camera.
Aphrodite Macbain: I will make sure to visit it
Bleu Oleander: the new exhibit is very nice!
    Santoshima Resident: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: I think I'll try it too
Bruce Mowbray: I visited the exhibit.... It SURE felt irolated!
Santoshima Resident: and the old ones? not so meh ... thank you so much for visiting any of them
    Bruce Mowbray: also isolated!
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm glad you are continuing with your exhibitions San. You find some very interesting artists.
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Mick.
    arabella Ella: Hiya Mick
    Riddle Sideways: Hey Mic
    Bleu Oleander: hiya Mick
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mick
    Mickorod Renard: hiya Bruce
    Aphrodite Macbain waves at Mick
    Mickorod Renard: hi Eliza
    Mickorod Renard: Waves to all

    --BELL--

    Santoshima Resident: hi Mick
Mickorod Renard: HI Everyone, I almost forgot
Eliza Madrigal: Really nice to hear that many or most are making good use of the strange time. I feel as though I am too, but the general uncertainty gets to me at times
    Wol Euler: hello mick
    Bleu Oleander: agree Eliza :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Arabella- what's happening in Malta? Are there many COVID 19 outbreaks there?
Wol Euler: wish I could say that I am making good use of mine
arabella Ella: yes it is a strange feeling never really knowing whether or when it may end
    Bleu Oleander: background uncertainty
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
arabella Ella: we've been fortunate here so far, perhaps because we are an island and the authorities took steps relatively early
Riddle Sideways: this new outbreaks of the new delayed thing in kids is yet again scary
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, you are fortunate in that.
arabella Ella: as in most EU countries our airport and ports are closed except for supplies / freight
Aphrodite Macbain: It is a port, however, so new cases could still come in,no?
    Aphrodite Macbain: ah
arabella Ella: and the hospitals did not yet need any extra beds or anything extraordinary
arabella Ella: however they will still be building a new temporary hospital due to the virus and that is something i cannot understand since it seems to be very much under control here
Bruce Mowbray: New Zealand is also doing very well - probably for the same reasons as Malta.
Aphrodite Macbain: I was happy to learn that there were 0 new cases in Vancouver Island yesterday
Aphrodite Macbain: I guess it helps to be an island
Eliza Madrigal: I guess the feeling is to be ready at any given time
Bruce Mowbray: Wow - That's great, Aph.
    Mickorod Renard: Great Aph
Eliza Madrigal: and to be able to separate known covid cases if there's a spike
Aphrodite Macbain: I must admid I'm getting a little bored
arabella Ella: no one is allowed to come into the country the borders are closed sea and air
    arabella Ella: only goods
Bruce Mowbray: Not easy to ignore one's foibles when there's no one to share them with.
Aphrodite Macbain: Going for walks in the spring sunshine is a great distraction but still not enough to keep my brain engaged
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, walks are good. I'm walking 2 1/2 miles on the rural road every day.
arabella Ella: here it is like already summer, getting to be a bit too hot to go for walks, hopefully we will be able to enjoy swimming in the Med soon
Aphrodite Macbain: That's good Arabella but it must be hard for the economy
Bruce Mowbray: and listening to MOBY DICK while I walk.
arabella Ella: it is hard for the economy i know many who are now unemployed, from theatre, tourism, sports, etc.
Bruce Mowbray: Oh yes, very hard on the economy.
Aphrodite Macbain: Swimming in the Mediterranean - what a fabulous concept!
Riddle Sideways: walking listening to the birds and weed eaters
arabella Ella: but i think health comes before economy, without people the economy cannot operate
    Wol Euler: yup
    Bruce Mowbray: Absolutely, ara.
Eliza Madrigal: that should be the guiding principle
Aphrodite Macbain: and leaf blowers, Riddle, don't forget them
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
arabella Ella: and the government as in many other EU countries is giving 800 euro to anyone who vbecomes unemployed as a result of the virus
    Riddle Sideways: oh yes
Eliza Madrigal: I say should be, but here in Miami we are probably opening to 50% next week, or the week after if there is a lot of push back
Aphrodite Macbain: every senior in Canada will get $300 from the government. It's better than nothing I suppose
arabella Ella: with restaurants, theatres, etc. all closed, hairdressers and beauty salons too, there is nowhere much one can spend money so 800 euro is enough to live for the moment
Aphrodite Macbain: I feel sorry for Fauci - who is trying to get people to hear him
Riddle Sideways: landlords still want the rent paid
arabella Ella: Dont seniors in Canada get a state pension Aph?
    Aphrodite Macbain: ye
    Eliza Madrigal nods Riddle
Bruce Mowbray: We're doing something similar in the US.... except I have not received my check yet.
arabella Ella: here many landlords have reduced the rent for their tenants if they have employment problems
Eliza Madrigal: there are a lot of gig workers in the US who don't receive money from the package, at least not yet
Riddle Sideways: and now Kids are getting it
Aphrodite Macbain: yes they get pensions but this is extra since prices are apparently going up and seniors with fixed incomes are having a hard time
Riddle Sideways: well a relative of covid
    stevenaia Michinaga: waves
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Steve.
    Riddle Sideways: Hey Steve
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Stevenaia
    arabella Ella: Hiya Steve!
    Bleu Oleander: hiya Steve :)
    Santoshima Resident: h Stevenaia
    Wol Euler: hello stevie
    Santoshima Resident: i
    stevenaia Michinaga: how is everyone
Eliza Madrigal: in my building, we received a letter about where to find short term loans if we need them for rent.... it really is revealing a lot
    stevenaia Michinaga: well I hope
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Stevie :)
    arabella Ella: good thanks!
    Bleu Oleander: good, you?
    stevenaia Michinaga: busy and good
Riddle Sideways: does any landlord have a heart
stevenaia Michinaga: as opposed to good and busy
Aphrodite Macbain: yes= the Canadian government is giving loans to large companies so thay can stay afloat
arabella Ella: some landlords i know prefer to reduce the rent due to current circumstances rather than have their place empty with no indication as to when it may be rented out again
Aphrodite Macbain: Governments are going to be paying for this in the years to come!
Eliza Madrigal: there has to be a general tone from the top, and here... well, we all know what it is here!
Bruce Mowbray: Oh yes, we surely do, Eliza.
Wol Euler: nothing they can't afford if htey want to
Riddle Sideways: let us not discuss THAT
    arabella Ella agrees with Wol
    Bruce Mowbray: Heh heh.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: How difficult it must be! Do you think there will be an election?
Wol Euler: what fraction of the military budget are we talking about giving to civilians?
arabella Ella: yes what about the Nov election will it happen?
    Mickorod Renard: zero I bet
    Bruce Mowbray: Excellent point, Wol.
stevenaia Michinaga: that's for the more invisible enemy
Eliza Madrigal: It is more an issue that lots of money is flying out to highest powers with little oversight... we haven't even healed from 2008 crisis really and here is a compounded one
Riddle Sideways: Trumpie might not pay the postal service for vote by mail
Aphrodite Macbain: The fewer Americans vote the better for him
Eliza Madrigal: :) needed that pause
    Riddle Sideways: yes ㋡
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

    --BELL--

arabella Ella: I cannot understand why or how some countries did not learn from those other countries who had it bad before them
Mickorod Renard: it is a mystery
Eliza Madrigal: American spirit seems to be that of gamblers
Aphrodite Macbain: they all want to be free to make their own mistakes unencumbered by the truth
Riddle Sideways: and to believe it is a hoax
Aphrodite Macbain: when it works agaisnte them
    arabella Ella: yes Aph!
Eliza Madrigal: There are some voices that sounded idealistic not too long ago but now may be heard more
Eliza Madrigal: pushing for things i
arabella Ella: with all the consequent suffering and loss of valuable human lives
    Eliza Madrigal: like UBI, etc.
Aphrodite Macbain: I think Trudeau is doing well as are the Health officers - I am enjoying watching his hair grow everyday
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Mickorod Renard: maybe this is the time that money becomes void
Eliza Madrigal: maybe I need a Canadian TV stream
arabella Ella: yes Canada seems to be doing well
    Santoshima Resident: national film board
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm sure you can get one Eliza - I get many American and European channels
Eliza Madrigal: Money certainly isn't what it once was, maybe we have to admit that first
Santoshima Resident: has wonderful free films
    Santoshima Resident: cbc gem
    Bruce Mowbray: Indeed.
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes Gem
    Eliza Madrigal: Nice tip
Eliza Madrigal: Has anyone watched anything great during all this?
    Santoshima Resident: many on youtube
Aphrodite Macbain: YouTube has lots of good stuff to but beware of fake news
    Santoshima Resident: yes
Santoshima Resident: I Lost My Body
Santoshima Resident: animated film ... netflix
    Aphrodite Macbain: you did?
Santoshima Resident: name of film, Aph
    Eliza Madrigal makes note
    Santoshima Resident: recommended
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol Thanks San
Riddle Sideways: the Sondhelm 90th bday special was great
Eliza Madrigal: I was watching that earlier!
Bleu Oleander: reading a fascinating book, "Dark Towers" by D. Enrich
Aphrodite Macbain: we are all so connected by the media!
Eliza Madrigal: fiction or non, Bleu?
Aphrodite Macbain: What is it about Bleu?
arabella Ella: has anyone watched Freud on Netflix?
Santoshima Resident: Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner < rewatched for the umpteenth time. incredible film
Bleu Oleander: non fiction about Deutsche Bank
Aphrodite Macbain: I only get the German version
Bleu Oleander: reads like a spy novel
    Santoshima Resident: yes, arabella
    Eliza Madrigal: Ohhh
Wol Euler: oh yes, I loved that
arabella Ella: i got the english version of freud it was very interesting
    Wol Euler: (atanarjuat)
    Aphrodite Macbain: wonderful film
Santoshima Resident: yes, it is that
Wol Euler: heheheheh, let's play "spot the canadians"
Eliza Madrigal copying and pasting notes onto computer sticky
    Aphrodite Macbain: chuckles
    Santoshima Resident: ok :)
Eliza Madrigal: Canada calling you back, Wol :)
Wol Euler: everyone else is saying "atawhat?"
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol
Wol Euler: actually yes it is, eliza
Aphrodite Macbain: but can you say the word outloud Wol?
Wol Euler: after so many decades abroad, the plague has got me seriously thinking about going back
Wol Euler: and yes I can :-P
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Aphrodite Macbain: why? Is it worse in Germany?
Wol Euler: no, better than most places
    Wol Euler: family.
    Aphrodite Macbain: ah
Aphrodite Macbain: Hope they're all OK
    Wol Euler touches wood.
Eliza Madrigal: a real blessing to have family you want to be with
Wol Euler: yes, everyone is fine as far as we know
    Aphrodite Macbain: aww Eliza
Mickorod Renard: I was thinking of getting a dog to keep me company
    Eliza Madrigal: go for it
Eliza Madrigal: no downside to dogs that I can tell :)
Bleu Oleander: you're not the only one Mick
Aphrodite Macbain: My family is thousands of miles a way but we do chat .
Bleu Oleander: dogs are great company
Mickorod Renard: yes, although my last one was a pain
Aphrodite Macbain: Dogs will want a walk at 3 AM
Eliza Madrigal: I remember your talking about your last one! hah
Bleu Oleander: they do need to be socialized which is a challenge under these lockdown conditions
Mickorod Renard: if I get one I want an old one without much left
    Santoshima Resident: much of what?
    Eliza Madrigal: maybe start fostering?
    Santoshima Resident: oops
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Kori!!!
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Kori.
    Aphrodite Macbain: Look who's here!
    Riddle Sideways: Hey Korel
    stevenaia Michinaga: hey Korel
    Korel Laloix: Osiyo all
    Bleu Oleander: hey Kori :)
    Wol Euler: WOW
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hiya Korel
    Santoshima Resident: greetings Korel
    Wol Euler: hello korel <3
    Mickorod Renard: hey Koriiiii
    arabella Ella: Hiya Korel!
    stevenaia Michinaga: gtsy :)
    Mickorod Renard: yayyy
Korel Laloix: Lovely to see you all.
Aphrodite Macbain: taking a break from epidemics?
Wol Euler: it's been a damned long time :)
Eliza Madrigal: We were talking about you earlier... good that you're checking in
Korel Laloix: Actually .. today is the first day in a long time I don't have much to do. Thank you for askikng
    Aphrodite Macbain: Enjoy it

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: your career path timing is amazing
Korel Laloix: Yes.. that darn RL got very tight...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Can you go for a walk?
    Korel Laloix: And run.

Aphrodite Macbain: Every Wednesday at 1 QT

    Qt Core: bye San
    Aphrodite Macbain: Bye San
Eliza Madrigal: Heard that you are on your own and working, Kori
Aphrodite Macbain: How are things in Milano QT?
Eliza Madrigal: Hard? or does keeping busy help?
Korel Laloix: Sadly yes.. but Sama and the kids get back Friday!
Korel Laloix: So things are good.
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, excellent! What a full life
    Aphrodite Macbain: Back from Florida?
    Wol Euler: yay
Qt Core: quite good, at least for me and the people i know
Korel Laloix: Been lonely the last few weeks for sure.. but let me work a lot.
Aphrodite Macbain: That's a relief QT
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: happy to hear good news reports here
Korel Laloix: So not a fun trade, but a useful one.
Aphrodite Macbain: You have two daughters Kri?
    Aphrodite Macbain: Kori
Qt Core: due to my extensive social life lockdown and regular off-work time is basically the same ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Korel Laloix: Sama has two girls I have twin boys.
    Aphrodite Macbain: a full house!
    Eliza Madrigal: Wow, amazing
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Aphrodite Macbain: twins. :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bet you're a really attuned parent
Korel Laloix: Yes, a bit of a jounrny for sure... not something I expected ten years ago at all.
Korel Laloix: Well, I try to be... smiles.. thank you for the vote of confidence.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: not when you were riding around the US on your motorbike!
Korel Laloix: Not been doing much of that recently either sadly.
Eliza Madrigal: things to look forward to for another time
Eliza Madrigal: How's your bike revamp project going, Mick?
Aphrodite Macbain: I am all looking forward to doing the same old things
Eliza Madrigal: I've just been dreaming of the feeling of walking a museum, although I think they'll be quite crowded once this mostly passes
    Aphrodite Macbain: probably
Wol Euler: that's the problem in a nutshell
Mickorod Renard: I have two bike revamps on the go
Eliza Madrigal: but, just that spacious feeling, with the tiny coffee mid way
    Eliza Madrigal: two now?
    Korel Laloix is rather jealous.
Mickorod Renard: both going well Eliza
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm hoping to go to Italy in October but I am probably being optimistic
arabella Ella: sounds lovely Aph just hope for the best
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Aphrodite Macbain: I wonder whether we all have similar dreams of the future.
Riddle Sideways: hoping to go to Boulder in June/July/Augest/Sept... oh well
Eliza Madrigal: dreaming of very simple comforts it seems
Aphrodite Macbain: and whether they are too idealistic
Mickorod Renard: I would go to Malta Aph, less virus
Wol Euler: frankly I think this is going to be a lost year.
    Aphrodite Macbain: true :)
Eliza Madrigal: that's my feeling too, Wol... am sitting on flight vouchers
Aphrodite Macbain: there's a painting course I want to take that is in Tuscany
arabella Ella: yes Aph you are always welcome here!
Aphrodite Macbain: I had to cancel it
Riddle Sideways: remembering John Prine "Jesus, the missing years"
Eliza Madrigal: and looking forward to vaccine and then hopefully people actually taking it
    Eliza Madrigal: :)) Riddle
Aphrodite Macbain: I'd love to visit Malta Ara. My mother and grandmother lived there many years ago
arabella Ella: well the EU announced today that they hope to have at least some travel going in summer as they want tourism to be revived but there will be constraints including social distance
stevenaia Michinaga: back to work for me, I will see you next week or sooner :)
arabella Ella: oh yes Aph I remember you having mentioned that!
Aphrodite Macbain: yes-I would have to avoid Rome
Eliza Madrigal: See you soon Stevie :)
    Riddle Sideways: ok, by Stev
    Aphrodite Macbain: bye Stevenaia
    Mickorod Renard: bye Stevie
    Qt Core: bye Stevenaia
    Korel Laloix: Take care
arabella Ella: So Aph if you manage Italy then try to include my little isle as well
    arabella Ella: bye Steve!
Aphrodite Macbain: Time for me to return to the COVID-filled worls
Eliza Madrigal: I'm actually lingering longer than I can today... but so excited to see you Kori and Qt

    Aphrodite Macbain: byee
    Mickorod Renard: bye aph
Riddle Sideways: good to see the circle full

Eliza Madrigal: am finding it hard to pull myself away today
Mickorod Renard: are u feeling better wol?
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
    Eliza Madrigal: much love xoxox
    Qt Core: :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: bye for now
    Riddle Sideways: thanks Wol
Wol Euler: yes tahnks, it was just a headache :) no need for anyone to worry :)
    Mickorod Renard: great!
Qt Core: (and i've spent so muc time considering what was better, sleep or The Rogue One, while you were all here ;-)
    Riddle Sideways: ha
    arabella Ella: he he
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Mickorod Renard: hows life Qt? are you still in same place?
Riddle Sideways: ok good folks, might go on too. Be happy, healthy and wise ㋡
    arabella Ella: bye Riddle
    Korel Laloix: Ciao
    Mickorod Renard: bye riddle
Korel Laloix: Was good to see everyone... take care
    Mickorod Renard: bye Korel,
Qt Core: how are things going where you live ? Even bigger channels only whine about our country and i don't tell much about others
Mickorod Renard: good to see u
    Qt Core: Bye Korel
arabella Ella: here on this little island we have been quite fortunate Qt, it hit us but so far not too badly
Mickorod Renard: yes, Qt, the uk gets a load of bad press
arabella Ella: although the borders are still closed
Mickorod Renard: we were poised to do the herd method
arabella Ella: and we still have quite a few restrictions
Mickorod Renard: in the end they locked down late and now we are a herd
Mickorod Renard: a herd of lemmings
    Mickorod Renard: he he
    arabella Ella: he he
Qt Core: we are slowing reopening a little on 4/5 something more next mondays and almost all on 1/6 if everything is going according to plan
arabella Ella: but italy is getting better slowly now Qt isn't it?
Qt Core: but some regions (the least hit) may /can reopen something earlier
    arabella Ella: yes
Qt Core: mine probably the last, lucky me
arabella Ella: here there was some news that travel between malta and sicily may open up soon with restrictions of course including social distance
    Mickorod Renard: great qt
arabella Ella: i think people need to feel safe if they are to go out, travel, etc., and many people will not feel safe for many months yet, especially those who were under lockdown or quarantine for many months
Qt Core: as for an idea, my town has one death for every 1000 inhabitants as for now
arabella Ella: oh no that is not good
arabella Ella: do you know many of them?
Qt Core: no, we /i don't know the names of any and had no comunication from people i know
    arabella Ella: ok
Mickorod Renard: I think its ironic. the countries with a good record of keeping old people alive have now been hit hard and it reflects on them
Qt Core: and that is one of my worry, when we start meeting friends/colleagues how to do it not knowing if they had friends/family death
    arabella Ella: yes
arabella Ella: so do you work from home at the moment?

    --BELL--

Qt Core: the death stats are very skewed toward the elderly and the already ill being hit hard
    arabella Ella: yes
Qt Core: not working (still have my job)
Qt Core: on call if needed
arabella Ella: here everyone 65 or over must stay indoors
Mickorod Renard: great, hopefully stay that way
arabella Ella: good that you still have your job!
Qt Core: here is only should, but they refuse
arabella Ella: i don't blame them!
arabella Ella: as long as one is cautious and responsible
Mickorod Renard: here it is over 70 stay at home and the vulnerable with conditions
arabella Ella: I'm afraid i must be off, lovely seeing you all!
Qt Core: if you have a regular, not temporary job it is illlegal to be fired here now until september i tink
    Qt Core: bye Arabella
    Mickorod Renard: bye Ara
Qt Core: it was proposed to over 65 to be forced to stay at home
Mickorod Renard: its good they have safety net, here too, but who knows how long they can afford it?
Mickorod Renard: I have to get going Qt
Mickorod Renard: but great to see you again
Qt Core: ok, bye and stay safe
    Mickorod Renard: and you mate
