The Guardian for this meeting was Riddle Sideways. The comments are by Riddle Sideways.
Riddle Sideways: it is now a complete habit to get washed on all sides for 20 seconds in the rainbird
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Good Morning Adams
Riddle Sideways: has already been a busy kitty morning here
Riddle Sideways: they are tired and going back to sleep now
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: It is a hard job to get everyone up
Riddle Sideways: they have their morning routine
Riddle Sideways: bet your's do too
Adams Rubble: I am back from struggling with a cash machine to deposit a check
Adams Rubble: by the time I finished there was a line behind me :(
Riddle Sideways: done that too
Riddle Sideways: there is a tendency to think of Candid Camera pranks when dealing with those machines
Adams Rubble: ohhhh
Adams Rubble: maybe that is what happened
Riddle Sideways: thinking that there is a real human behind the one-way glass and playing tricks on us
Riddle Sideways: hard to imagine that a Machine can read all manner of checks and get it right
Adams Rubble: it used to be that you typed in the amount before you deposited. Now you put in the check and then it says it can't read it what is the amount. They give you a little picture to read and then keep timing out while you are trying to type in the amount
Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Riddle Sideways: the machine actually reads $1,234, but asks you if $123.40 is the amount
Riddle Sideways: and wants to keep the overage
Adams Rubble: the weather has been lovely the past few days
Riddle Sideways: Yes! great weather for the last few
Riddle Sideways: got some of the outside work done
Adams Rubble: yes, me too
Riddle Sideways: supposed to get Hot tomorrow.
Adams Rubble: that seems to happen every summer
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: and found out contractor might start Monday, so now many many chores and heavy labor needed outside.
Riddle Sideways: all (the usual) front stuff needs to move to the back, but the back stuff has to move to make room, but the side stuff is in the way first, so need to move the other stuff first
Riddle Sideways: back, went off on thoughts ...
Adams Rubble knows about moving stuff around on the Titantic
Riddle Sideways: mistakenly clicked on a News link yesterday and spent hours reading Bad stuff
Adams Rubble: I have been having some interesting movement
Riddle Sideways: ?
Adams Rubble: recounted on my blog
Adams Rubble: my expolorartions with being dead :)
Riddle Sideways: looked for it this morning, before
Adams Rubble: Being in the world but not of the world
Adams Rubble: mainly ignoring judgements about oneself both of others and oneself
Adams Rubble: observing the world as if one was already dead
Adams Rubble: i worked up to it; hard to get it across from just sitting here
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: checked. Did read part of that blog. tripped out on the first line :))
Riddle Sideways: "The title is a misnomer because I never thought to do the BS"
Riddle Sideways: read BS as a different/more usual meaning
Adams Rubble: yes as in I wento college so I know about all the BS
Riddle Sideways: also was a bit scared of your Driving while Dead part
Adams Rubble: that was very powerful
Adams Rubble: removes any aggression
Adams Rubble: just observing what everyone else is doing
Adams Rubble: without getting onvolved emotionally
Adams Rubble: involved
Riddle Sideways: that is hard.
Riddle Sideways: need to work up to it
Adams Rubble: of course I had been experimenting with the idea but when I applied it while driving up route 1 it clicked right in
Riddle Sideways: Being goes on Seeing
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: hard to practice in this office. Immediately in front of eyes are mementos
Adams Rubble: It's funny how difficult it is to stay with explorations.
Riddle Sideways: the meaning things
Riddle Sideways: which twist to personal and id/ego things
Adams Rubble: you can detach by being dead
Riddle Sideways: looking out at the meadow and trees is much better
Riddle Sideways: will try
Riddle Sideways: so alive out there
Adams Rubble: the mind rebels when we get close to seeing things as they are
Adams Rubble: wants us back in the old groove
Adams Rubble: back in what the mind thinks is our comfort zone
Riddle Sideways: yep. that groove/comfort rut is home
Adams Rubble: back to our neuroses
Adams Rubble: whenever we break through we feel tremendous peace and then the monkeys are let loose again
Riddle Sideways: so funny, that the peaceful place is not the comfort zone
Adams Rubble: Phone call, I am going to have to go
Riddle Sideways: ok, thank you
Riddle Sideways: much to try
Adams Rubble: phone call over and i am still here. hehe
Adams Rubble: about the Historical Commission
Riddle Sideways: yet another commission?
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: I resigned from the other one
Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Riddle Sideways: well whatever degree alive Thursday, will try to be here
Riddle Sideways: then
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: well I wish you the best with your outside work. I hope you have a good day
Riddle Sideways: Always look toward the Fun side of Life. Ta da, Ta da, da da ta da
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: except I would be just as happy not to view it from a cross :)
Riddle Sideways: :))
Adams Rubble: although believe it or not, Thomas a Kempis advises us to look at the world from the cross :)
Adams Rubble: well bye for now
Riddle Sideways: by All
