Adams Rubble: yes, my turn next
Riddle Sideways: now need the sim to restart
    Adams Rubble: ugh
Adams Rubble: the rabbit is a trooper
Riddle Sideways: yup, stills calm through it all
Adams Rubble: the inner calm mind
Adams Rubble: I hope everything is settling nicely after your long trip
Riddle Sideways: the simple mind that can stay calm while all others are panicing
Riddle Sideways: starting to settle in. still reporting stories to people which makes reliving the adventures
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: which is nice
Riddle Sideways: but maybe not the Settled as you asked
Riddle Sideways: while traveling across NY state, went to the Bethel Woods Arts Center
Riddle Sideways: the site of Woodstock
    Riddle Sideways: nice small museum
Riddle Sideways: on the top of the hill where the consession stands were
Riddle Sideways: they left the hillside, a nature bowl amphitheater hill natural
Riddle Sideways: where all those people sat is just a nice grassy slope
Riddle Sideways: there are paved roads where memory placed dirt roads
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: in hindsight, should have paid the extra for the AR presentation
    Adams Rubble: AR ?
Riddle Sideways: have the tablet app show Augmented Reality display of what had been there
    Adams Rubble: ohhh
Riddle Sideways: like many museums, seem to not want to pay for the extra Audio tour walkman until the end of the exhibit
Riddle Sideways: standing out there, the memory was not quite exactly correct
    Riddle Sideways: sorry beel
    Adams Rubble continues to listen
Riddle Sideways: well, it might be a variation on 'You can never go home' again
Riddle Sideways: but going to a site of one's revolutions, experiences, epithony etc
Riddle Sideways: on another year, on a bright sunny day
Riddle Sideways: and the same mental state is not there
Adams Rubble: It wasn't the place but the spirit of the crowds
    Riddle Sideways: right
Riddle Sideways: however, they built a museum there
Riddle Sideways: so others could come to it
    Adams Rubble: yeds
    Adams Rubble: yes
Adams Rubble: lots for you to reflect upon
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: for this moments thinking
Riddle Sideways: about those little placard
Riddle Sideways: that mark a site that a famous person, place or thing happened
Riddle Sideways: the site the Gettysburg address, or Buddha said that thing or Ralph's barn once stood
Riddle Sideways: and one can cast the mind back to Be There Then
    Adams Rubble: Washington slept around
    Riddle Sideways: Yes! :))
Riddle Sideways: so there was a field
    Adams Rubble: Picketts charge
Riddle Sideways: it looks small now. it looks pretty now
Riddle Sideways: that had half a million little people at
Adams Rubble: but when jimi Hendrix let loose....
    Adams Rubble: the world shook
Riddle Sideways: it was mostly empty
Riddle Sideways: Riddle walked over the hill and away during Jimi playing
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: same small hill that nows goes to a parking lot
Riddle Sideways: same crest a kid had come over days before as Richie Havens was being introduced. and saw that hillside of people for the first time.
Riddle Sideways: that was a nice pause
Riddle Sideways: He sang "Freedom, Freedom"
Riddle Sideways: and really knew what it meant
Riddle Sideways: and "Sometimes, I feel like a motherless child"
Adams Rubble: this avatar got to hear Richi Havens play in the streets of New Brunswick many years later
Adams Rubble: sang both of those songs
Adams Rubble: not nearlky as many people
    Adams Rubble: nearly
Riddle Sideways: later, the great biblical scolar Arlo sang-told the story of Moses
Adams Rubble: did not know Arlo was at woodstock
Riddle Sideways: yes, so was Melanie
Riddle Sideways: and Canned Heat "Goin up the Country, baby do you wanna go"
Adams Rubble: she doesn't eat animals and they do not eat her
    Riddle Sideways: yes ㋡
Riddle Sideways: not knowing people look at me odd when I quote that line ㋡
Riddle Sideways: (amazed at how the lack of a comma can so change the understanding of a sentence)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: the "not knowing people" are all around us
    Riddle Sideways: unfortunately
Riddle Sideways: well, that is what Education is for
Riddle Sideways: Imagine a world where people don't know about Woodstock
Riddle Sideways: or don't know about ...
Adams Rubble: I expect there are many peopole in the US who don't
Riddle Sideways: or think that such-n-such history never happened

    Riddle Sideways: oh, sorry
Riddle Sideways: and that crashed you?
Adams Rubble: no I clicked on the screen to type and it teleported me away
Riddle Sideways: a really nice older man that was a docent at the museum asked at the end of the hall. "did you miss anything"
Riddle Sideways: to which I answered 'Saturday of Woodstock'
Riddle Sideways: he said "Ah you were there'
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: there are so many forms of religious experiences
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: 3 days of Peace, Love, understanding and Religion
Riddle Sideways: well, that is what I remember about a place on a now grassy hillside out in the country
Riddle Sideways: where the dirt roads are now paved
