Life with generalized anxiety disorder....
Fall asleep around 9 after a beautiful fun day, wake up at 11 with heart pounding and adrenaline pumping for no apparent reason. Spend an hour tossing and turning then 3 hours playing card games on my iPad. It's now 3 am and I'm still very wide awake.
It is what it is
I hope everyone else is having sweet dreams :-)
Meditation with dog is not impossible. He curls up behind me with a toy, and wraps himself around the cushion. Yoga with dog also not impossible, unless laying flat on the floor where my face is just too irresistible.
I use one main DVD for yoga at home, which I like because it is based on mudras and mantras and emphasizes the spiritual. The teacher talks about the "golden string" between practitioners long ago and those keeping the practices alive today, and I liked that image when considering continuity. edited 15:18, 2 Aug 2015
I feel great appreciation for my yoga teacher Rainy.
I asked for assistance with a few public mantras to help a young friend
who struggles with anxiety while watching breath in meditation.

quivers and vibrates
in pains and joys
never leaving
the gold
