    1) Weekly Guardian Meetings

Suggestion: make the Weekly Guardian Meetings closed to
non-guardians.  Do we recommend that to the PaB group?

How easy is it to implement: Storm could create a way to keep people out of the meetings- red tape.

    1) Should put this before the Guardians: Guardian meetings are for Guardians only.

Would we say people couldn't join or people can't talk if they are not Guardians?

Perhaps we could just put a sign up that says Guardian meetings in Progress.

Maybe we don't need to make a rule.

    2) Guardian Name Tags

We discuss the suggestion to ask guardians to wear a "PaB Host"
name tag during PaB sessions.  This in order to make it clear to
newcomers who to associate with PaB.   NOTE: this still does not
solve the question of publishing the chat logs on the web, where
non-guardians may appear to speak as representing PaB; perhaps
the PaB listener/auto-recorder can identify who's host and who
       isn't, in some way?

Propose this to the group: enforce it by sending one another IMs to remind one another to activate the tag.

    What about in the chatlogs?

Autologger could mark people who are acting as the host.  In the chatlog should we differentiate between people who guardians and people who are not guardians.

This is rather tricky to differentiate.

Perhaps we should just go the route of making sure Guardians  add comments/editorials to the chatlogs or sections which are not "representative."

Maxine: What is the primary function of the chatlogs?

We decided to discuss this first in the working group and then put it to the whole group.

Maxine will be away from email for 10 days starting Sat 31st-November 10th.

Before she leaves Maxine will write a draft about the chatlogs to the working group.

Pema will still send a message re tags to the whole group.

    3) New Guardian Candidates

       Discuss some new candidates:

    4) Retreat update

Mark talked with Arabella; brief update of where we stand

Mark reported that things are rather informal with deposits so no pressing deadlines.

    8 people interested in Malta.

    April- Berkeley

Summer- maybe Hawaii or Nova Scotia

    5) Coordination Responsibilities

       On page   http://playasbeing.wik.is/PaB_Working_Group  we
       have started to list our individual areas of responsibility;
Saki wrote a new draft, after she and Storm and I spent a few
hours in front of a blackboard in Princeton, while Saki took notes.

We will discuss this through email
