Korel Laloix: There is a good hospital and an airport here, so not that out of things.

Wol Euler: are you based at the hospital? I'm curious about what you are doing there, in as much deail as you want to say :)
Korel Laloix: Mostly we are doing DNA samples of people that we can confirm are survivors... and the close relatives.
Korel Laloix: But there are other things as well.
Korel Laloix: Picking up samples from suspected reservoir/vector species.
Wol Euler: cool
Wol Euler: ah, so people do survive the disease? I believed that the mortality rate was 100%
Korel Laloix: Lots of drving, very little actually work though. But getting a lot read and listened to on the drives.
Korel Laloix: No, with high-end medical care the survival rate is qute high with most strains.
Korel Laloix: but with Africa health care, it can be quite low.

Korel Laloix: Medical teams over in west Africa are getting killed trying to help.
