Storm shares his wonderful technique for focusing:
Storm Nordwind: I learned a technique waaaay back in the 70s that I found I could do continually: at work, at home, while eating, talking... anything. The fact that I could draw on it at any moment at all I found very useful.
Storm Nordwind: It's one of many I'm sure, but I found it useful. It involved being aware of and focussing on the energy that was behind the breath, moving it, so to speak. It feels like a wave coursing through you... just as I'm typing now.
Storm Nordwind: I found it useful because we have these associations that we can do one thing or the other, meditate or work, meditate or speak etc., but never the two together. It felt very holistic to find that they need not be separate!

Pema shares his idea for change of focus for PaB:
Pema Pera: I have been thinking a bit this morning (morning here in Japan): PaB is almost two years old now
Pema Pera: and I'm wondering whether it would be a good time to focus a bit more on the notion of Being
Pema Pera: we have a great community, we are playful, but perhaps the idea of Being is something we still haven't focused very much on
Pema Pera: in this connection, I also thought about the TSK workshop, which will end in March
Pema Pera: we have been talking about what to do next, and I mentioned that it might be more appropriate to do any follow-up for that within PaB rather than with a Kira workshop (like the Kira Time Workshop which is currently where we read the Time, Space, Knowledge book).
Pema Pera: And given that at April 1 PaB exists exactly two years, that may be a good time to start some Being discussion group or some such thing
Pema Pera: more than just a few theme sessions, perhaps as a separate series of meetings in the Village Hall

Storm drops in to announce the opening of the newly refurbished village pub:
Storm Nordwind wants to let people know that in response to recent discussion, the Village Pub (or Tavern, or Inn) can be used now... I've made it a little more cozy around the fire, adding three chairs, but I've removed the back door.

Guardian Calvino has some thoughts on group building:
No one knows how to "build" a group, any more than science knows how to "create" an ecosystem, or an individual knows a sure-fire way to create a good, lasting relationship with another person. And yet, I believe a lot of the principles are understood.

Guardian Eden notices the magical change when Moon and Stargate arrive:
Something has changed: grass is growing very fast between us in the pavilion, flowers are spreading forth, trees are in bloom: just like after the first rains of monsoon in India. We soon realize who are the magicians of this sudden transformation: Moon and Stargate, who just arrived.
