Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Good morning Adams ㋡
Riddle Sideways: yesterday came to light the next candle and it was already lit
Adams Rubble: Very tired after all that running around in the troika
Riddle Sideways: had to look up troika
Adams Rubble: Dubrovna came in through the snowstorm and lit the candle last night
Riddle Sideways: saw Dubrovna log in and out in the same minute this morning
Adams Rubble: that was a mistake
Riddle Sideways: what is the snow storm report?
Adams Rubble: not as bad as threatened because we had a good bit of sleet come down in the middle of the noght but it made it hard to move
Adams Rubble: nothing compared to what you were once used to
    Adams Rubble: no lake effect
Adams Rubble: just a turnpike effect
    Adams Rubble: that needs explanation
Riddle Sideways: ha, nice phrase "turnpike effect"
Adams Rubble: the NJ turnpike is often the dividing line for storms for some reason that has nothing to do with road but with where it was built
Adams Rubble: last night while waiting to go to sleep I had a great desire to start blogging again
Riddle Sideways: good, but right there in bed?
Adams Rubble: it helps keep me focused
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Adams Rubble: I purposely do not have a functioning computer near the bed
Adams Rubble: do not want to wake up in the middle of the night and start compulsively reading the news or Facebook
Riddle Sideways: do you a pad of paper near the bed?
    Riddle Sideways: Old school
Adams Rubble: yes, a clipboard, but I did not get up and write last night
Adams Rubble: nursing my sore back for today's activities
Riddle Sideways: did you overwork your back or anticipate overworking it today?
Adams Rubble: I hurt it three days ago lugging a shop vac out from the cellar to vacuum the car
Adams Rubble: your standard story of stupidity
Riddle Sideways: got several books of those stories
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: at least I know the car interior is clean under all that snow
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
    Riddle Sideways: peace of mind
Riddle Sideways: there are little things like that that can make us happier
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: traffic was very light and the now was beautiful driving home from babysitting at our daughter's last night.
Adams Rubble: I forgot how beautiful it is to drive in the snow when there is light traffic
    Riddle Sideways: ah
Riddle Sideways: (due to a long story) heard a radio report of how clean and beautiful the snow is this year on the Himalayas
    Riddle Sideways: last pollution
Adams Rubble: it was on the edge of getting dark and the street lights lit up the falling snow against the dark background of the treet which were already collecting snow on their limbs
Adams Rubble: the deer were hunkered down under trees with their coats starting to turn white on the top
Riddle Sideways: paints a nice picture
Adams Rubble: COVID has been good for global warming
Adams Rubble: last night I thought I should blog about it today
Adams Rubble: but too busy this morning so far
Riddle Sideways: hmm, in its time
Adams Rubble: it's like a Jerry Seinfield routine. Snow has fallen. Must get out and clear the place. I have no place to go but I need to do this
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡ yes
Adams Rubble: got about half done this morning before the session
Riddle Sideways: strain your back shoveling snow
Riddle Sideways: move the snow from here over to there
Adams Rubble: I bought an electric snow blower two summers ago. Have had very little snow since then. I can only do 8 inched but most of it was in its range
Adams Rubble: only had to do a little shoveling but more shoveling needs to be done
    Adams Rubble: shhhh
    Adams Rubble was shushed
    --BELL--
    Riddle Sideways: beel gets bossy
Riddle Sideways: it has its little job to do
Riddle Sideways: and takes it very sirus
Riddle Sideways: laughing at always pointing at the sky and telling the kids "that is serious"
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: then during the day would say "be cereal now"
Adams Rubble trying to remembeer the song that says someone takes themselves so seriously
    Adams Rubble: Dylan?
Riddle Sideways: safe to always say Dylan, since he wrote so many songs with so many non-understood lyrics
Adams Rubble: Little boy lost, he takes himself so seriously
    Adams Rubble: Visions of Johanna
Riddle Sideways: snap. was typing that title too
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: [pause while everyone contemplates Vision of Johanna'
Adams Rubble: kept me up past the dawn
Riddle Sideways: yep, was reading all those lyrics
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, the entire lyrics are on a SongFacts.com site
Riddle Sideways: followed by hundreds of somments
Riddle Sideways: from average people who are guessing
Riddle Sideways: that they know what is meant
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: the commentators take themselves so seriously
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: giving an open soapbox to get on and tell their stories
Adams Rubble: the night is so quiet during a snowstorm
    Riddle Sideways: *given
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: that was the thought that made me want to blog
    Adams Rubble: Stille Nacht
Riddle Sideways: oh how the snow quiets the entire scene
Riddle Sideways: our rainstorm was not quiet at all
    Adams Rubble: noo
Adams Rubble: especially if there are thunderbumpers
Adams Rubble: but the sound of rain is soothing too if the roof does not leak
Riddle Sideways: the alluded to long story was that was awaken at 5:30 by the water system coming on to water the trees and bushes
Riddle Sideways: and knowing it should have been turned off
Riddle Sideways: and that it was a clock that did not fall back in Oct.
Riddle Sideways: and it was raining
Riddle Sideways: so much extra water on the plants
    Riddle Sideways: wide awake
Riddle Sideways: a cat is awoken and walks over everybody
Riddle Sideways: the pillow speaker gets uncovered
Riddle Sideways: and there is the News
Riddle Sideways: well, at least heard StarDate show
Riddle Sideways: must remember to look at Jupiter/Saturn tonight
Riddle Sideways: now aren't you glad to hear that story ㋡
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: my night was much quieter :)
Riddle Sideways: yes, you had the quiet snow
    Riddle Sideways: and Silent Night
Adams Rubble: you have less to clean up today :)
Riddle Sideways: was glad that the leaves got blown off the driveway yesterday
Riddle Sideways: battery leaf blower is much lighter then a shop vac
Riddle Sideways: Yesterday, had a strange meditation (zoom class)
    Adams Rubble listens
Riddle Sideways: am so use to 9-sec or 90-sec or mindfulness concentrate on breathing
    Riddle Sideways: only breathing
Riddle Sideways: or the good olde meditation of hold one thing
Riddle Sideways: yesterday, it was holding 3 thoughts
    Riddle Sideways: 3 abstract words
Riddle Sideways: at first 'loaded' words
Riddle Sideways: that she wanted us to hold loosely by their lesser meanings
Riddle Sideways: just how hard it was for an olde dog to recall an old method or a change of style
Riddle Sideways: strange to not have done holding multiple things since years and years
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: I don't think I ever tried
Adams Rubble: It is good to hear other's explorations and experiences in a session
Riddle Sideways: a bit like juggling
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, use to hear many explorations here
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
    Adams Rubble: yes we did
Adams Rubble: a time to play and a time to explore :)
Adams Rubble: and if we are good we explore in play
    Adams Rubble: good meaning skilled
Riddle Sideways: looks over at the juggling balls
Riddle Sideways: have not played with them in years
    Riddle Sideways: Explore As Play
Riddle Sideways: ok, shovel snow, carry water, juggle tasks
Riddle Sideways: what a fun game
Adams Rubble: taming the mind is a good step
Adams Rubble: taming the snow is something we do to pass the time :)
Riddle Sideways: what! make a path?
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: yes, made a path this morning
Riddle Sideways: why did we not talk about your path all this time
Adams Rubble: Thank you for being here this morning
    Riddle Sideways: thank you
Adams Rubble: when is it proper to remove the Menorah?
    Riddle Sideways: tomorrow
    Riddle Sideways: night
    Adams Rubble: ohhh, thanks
    Riddle Sideways: sundown
Adams Rubble: will pass the lessage on to Dubrovna
    Riddle Sideways: thanks
