The Guardian for this meeting was Wol. Eliza posted this session.
Wol Euler: gathering ants?
Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Wol Euler giggles.
Agatha Macbeth: Better
--BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: Clang
Wol Euler: hello aggers dear
Agatha Macbeth: Ear ear
Agatha Macbeth: Good to see you're still coming :p
Wol Euler: I try
Agatha Macbeth: You succeed!
Agatha Macbeth: I see the stand-in-afield-for-no-apparent-reason-brigade have moved south
Wol Euler: oh good lord
Agatha Macbeth: They used to be in baekun
Agatha Macbeth: A lot of them seem to be associated with something called Tiny Empires
Wol Euler: strange ... do they just stand around?`
Agatha Macbeth: Yep
Agatha Macbeth: That's all they do
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder if it's some form of camping thing
Agatha Macbeth: I've seen something similar at other places too
Wol Euler: one used to see rooms full of zombies hidden under/over stores, to bump up visitor stats back when that seemed to matter
Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: But why do it in the middle of abandoned land is beyond me
Wol Euler: indeed, whatever they are doing isn't done for the benefit of that location
Agatha Macbeth: Strange
Wol Euler: nowt so queer as folk, aye
Agatha Macbeth: What is Tiny Empires anyway?
Wol Euler: no idea ...
Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Wol Euler: but google or search might know
Wol Euler: seems ot be a store
Wol Euler: no, it's a game with a store
Wol Euler: search places for "tiny empires official stores"
Wol Euler: sells "tiny empires riddle solvers"
Agatha Macbeth: http://www.tinyempires.com
Wol Euler looks
Agatha Macbeth: But I still don't see what standing AFK in a field has to do with anything
Wol Euler: they aren't dressed for it
Agatha Macbeth: Nope
Agatha Macbeth: One's a bloody dalek!
Agatha Macbeth: Weird
Wol Euler: yup
Wol Euler: very mediaeval that i
Wol Euler: s
Agatha Macbeth: Or not
[edit]
Wol Euler: in other news, not that I am hurriedly changing the subject or anything ...
Wol Euler: I am now in my tenth year of SL
Agatha Macbeth: :P
Agatha Macbeth: Wow
Wol Euler: I (not wol) joined on 7/7/2007
Wol Euler: isn't it?
Wol Euler: I am very surprised myself
--BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: Yes
Wol Euler: it's been one of the formative events in my life
Agatha Macbeth: How is other half these days?
Wol Euler: hasn't been on in yonks.
Wol Euler: wol herself rarely gets on ...
Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Wol Euler: it's sad but I don't know what to do about it
Agatha Macbeth: Well if your time's limited, not much you can do I guess
Agatha Macbeth: Oh ye of the long ears
Wol Euler wiggles them
Wol Euler: time is very limited, it seems to me, both in long-term and short-term
Agatha Macbeth: I mean, all that work and WoW too
Wol Euler: indeed :)
Agatha Macbeth: SL is hard to fit in these days
Wol Euler: well after the workday everything is, given that I also sleep eat and wash myself
Agatha Macbeth: Right
Agatha Macbeth: Like I said, it's difficult to know what to do about it
Agatha Macbeth: Other than find a less demanding job of course
Wol Euler: there is that ...
Agatha Macbeth: But maybe that's not a realistic option
Wol Euler: it doesn't look that way from here
Wol Euler: for a variety of reasons
Agatha Macbeth: Don't you ever get a desire to go home?
Wol Euler: I'm not sure what that means
Wol Euler: I lived here longer than anywhere else, far longer than in Toronto
Wol Euler: I might like to join my sister in Victoria (nice place, good climate)
Agatha Macbeth nods
Wol Euler: but my chances of getting a job there (a) with no canadian experience, therefore (b) no knowledge of building codes, social standards or common materials, and (c) at age 60 -- seem somewhat remote
Agatha Macbeth: That's a pity
Wol Euler: perhaps
--BELL--
Wol Euler: or maybe just a fact
Wol Euler: anyway, that's where I am at the moment
Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Wol Euler: how are you?
Agatha Macbeth: But the orcs get slaughtered anyway
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I'm good
Agatha Macbeth: Still hate that bell tho
Wol Euler: SO FIND ME A BETTER ONE
Wol Euler: honestly
Agatha Macbeth: Can't
Agatha Macbeth: I tried
Agatha Macbeth: Bells don't seem to be a big deal on the MP
Wol Euler: ah well :)
Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
Agatha Macbeth: I don't even know where Storm got his from
Wol Euler: dear old Storm, I hope he's well
Agatha Macbeth: He came to the birthday party briefly
Agatha Macbeth: Still looking the same as ever
Wol Euler: ah
Wol Euler: sorry to say, but I'm working this afternoon and need to do some shopping before then
Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Wol Euler: I shall have to be off, but I'll be back for fracture
Agatha Macbeth: OK
Wol Euler: take care, be happy and well-fed <3
Agatha Macbeth: Probably see you later then
Agatha Macbeth: I'll try
Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: Build well
Wol Euler: bye for now
Wol Euler: thankee
