Christmas plans
Eden Haiku: Good morning Eliza :) Merry Christmas!
Eliza Madrigal: Happy Merry, Eden! You look beautiful and festive :D
Eliza Madrigal: I can't stay very long, am cooking... but I wanted to SEE you a bit on the holiday :D
Eden Haiku: Can't stay seated this morning, wondering what’s happening
Eliza Madrigal: the champagne perhaps
Eden Haiku: smiles
Eliza Madrigal: but if the choice is sit or drink champagne...
Eden Haiku: What are you cooking sweetheart?
Eliza Madrigal: stand
Eliza Madrigal: mushroom phillo appetizers mainly, but also some side dishes n things
Eden Haiku: here is a champagne flute for you :)
Eden Haiku: Mummm, sounds good :)
Eliza Madrigal: I seem to be champagne impaired
Eden Haiku: I never realized you were so tall :)
Eliza Madrigal: haha, sometimes I am
Eliza Madrigal: but I'm also hovering....
Eden Haiku: I like your Chrismas hat :)
Eliza Madrigal: which I have a hard time adjusting
Eliza Madrigal: :) Ty, was wearing it to skate a few days ago
--BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: you do so beautifully with Christmas
Eliza Madrigal: what are your plans today?
Eden Haiku: A party at my mother-in-law house this afternoon. She's turning 91 next month but is still in good shape :) Haven't seen her in a while.
Eliza Madrigal: wow, wonderful :) a time of love
Eden Haiku: I love her dearly, and all my friend's family will be there. So joyful. What are your own plans?
Eden Haiku: Are you hosting?
Eliza Madrigal: son and me waiting for daughter 1 to finish work, then carrying festivities to their dad's house, where daughter 2 and her love with join us
Eden Haiku: That's great Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: it is all a bit hard to coordinate this year, and I'm thankful not to host this time
Eliza Madrigal: my grandfather isn't feeling well enough to drive
Eden Haiku: Sad...
Eliza Madrigal: so I'll go to him in the coming week....
Eliza Madrigal nods... find that we're just sitting quietly together lately, cat napping... no real conversation or nee
Eden Haiku: How sweet! Just the two of you might be a better way to connect on a deeper level too ...
Eliza Madrigal: d for such
Eliza Madrigal: I think so... it is odd though...
Eliza Madrigal: to see someone sort of detaching
Eden Haiku: So you are in good terms with children's dad? That's wonderful!
Eliza Madrigal: fairly good terms, complicated :)
Eden Haiku: ah, yes :) Complicated says a lot ...
Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eliza Madrigal: you don't stop being family
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Read somewhere that people start detaching about 2 years before they are ready to pass to another dimension...
Eden Haiku: Yes, you made daughters 1 and 2 and son together :)))
Eliza Madrigal: exactly :)))
Eliza Madrigal: 2 years...hm
Eliza Madrigal: I feel in a way, like we're communicating more, quietly
Eden Haiku: Beautiful!
Eden Haiku: That happened with my dad too. The quietness, it's a deep peace...
Eden Haiku: Snow is so lovely .Is it you snowing?
Eliza Madrigal:yes I'm snowing :))
Eden Haiku: Oh dear
Snowed all night
Eden Haiku: It snowed all night
Eden Haiku: As we sleep with the window open
Eliza Madrigal: wow
Eden Haiku: and it was windy
Eden Haiku: we had to wipe the snow
Eden Haiku: on the wooden floor
Eden Haiku: this morning :)
Eliza Madrigal: you have someone to snuggle with ^.^
Eliza Madrigal: must be perfect
Eliza Madrigal: I'd better go, daughter will be back soon and we'll start with the day. This is the first year I didn't wake up early early and do 'all the things', but they were out late last night
Eden Haiku: Yes, I feel very lucky. But you are still young Eliza, a nice man/ angel will come into your life I'm sure...
Eliza Madrigal: :) I do miss romantic Christmases
Eliza Madrigal: but so fortunate
Eliza Madrigal: and have SUCH good friends <3
Eden Haiku: Nice :)
Eliza Madrigal: I love you, Merry Christmas
Eden Haiku: Love you too Eliza, enjoy your Christmas!
Eliza Madrigal: ♥ ♥ ♥

Eden Haiku: It was nice of her to show up on Christmas Day.
Eden Haiku: She is going to meet with her grown up children and their dad.
Eden Haiku: When I came back from seeing the Nutcracker with my grandniece and my niece, spending a whole afternoon with them both, witnessing the love between the 6 year old and her mom, I realized how I missed out in life not having children of my own.
Eden Haiku: A deep sadness engulfed me for a few days.
Eden Haiku: The reason I didn't have children is "complicated" as the saying goes, but understanding why doesn't take away the sadness...
Eden Haiku: It went away as it came upon me and I realize how lucky I am to have brothers who had children who are now having their own children.
Eden Haiku: They aren't my own descendants but I feel a strong bond with the little ones who will be coming at our New Year Party next Saturday.
Eden Haiku: They will all be there; from my 6 yo grandniece to the baby birl born in September and the baby boy born in June I haven't met yet because my nephew lives in Toronto.
Eden Haiku: And there is another baby on its way to this world, swimming in my younger niece's belly :)
Eden Haiku: She came to by book party in October and she was radiant already! Baby will be born in February.
--BELL--
Eden Haiku: There is only one child in my companion's family.
Eden Haiku: A 3 year old cute little boy
Eden Haiku: I will be seeing him this afternoon but all his aunts will be after him
Eden Haiku: laughs out loud
Eden Haiku: I'm sure he’ll enjoy the book with baby animals and little poetry verses his parents can read to him.
Eden Haiku: My companion chose that book
Eden Haiku: His 90 yo mom decided that her descendant
Eden Haiku: great-grandson
Eden Haiku: had to look it up in my Antidote wonderful dictionnary **********Applause!!**********
Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
Eden Haiku: I meant application listener, sorry for that round of applause.
Eden Haiku: she decided that the boy had to have his personal library, so she buys him books at every occasion
Eden Haiku: and all the aunties and uncles do too;)
Eden Haiku: The woman would have liked to study but she was from a poor family
Eden Haiku: Her dad was a British orphan who was sent over here and who, when he turned 20 or so, rented a room in her French-Canadian mom's little house.
Eden Haiku: They both work in the cigarettes factory of the destitute neighborhood
Eden Haiku: My mother-in-law stopped smoking only last year, when she was 89 :)
Eden Haiku: She still reads a lot.
Eden Haiku: I'm offering her my last novel which is dedicated to my own parents and their great-grandchilldren.
Eden Haiku: Well, it was quite nice talking to you PaB Listener Master.
Eden Haiku: You don't respond much, but you are masterful at the art of listening.
--BELL--
Eden Haiku: Please, grant me this beautiful gift of being a good listener in the upcoming year 2018.
Eden Haiku: I'm sorry I'm late in posting the last sessions logs.
Eden Haiku: Been so busy
Eden Haiku: Everybody else is too, I know...
Eden Haiku: So readers don't miss the logs much,.
Eden Haiku: My first intention was to post them swiftly this morning, in a rough state maybe.
Eden Haiku: But it's already 11 o'clock and I have to be ready to leave the house at 1h30. So little time. I have to make myself pretty for the party :) I'm still in my PJs after a delicious breakfast in bed.
Eden Haiku: So I will post the previous sessions later.
Eden Haiku: Better late than never.
Eden Haiku: Merry Christmas dear listener :)
