Eliza Madrigal: around here somewhere :)
    Riddle Sideways: ha, yes
Storm Nordwind: And here in SL too!
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eden Haiku: Is your own baby boy close to graduation time Eliza?
Riddle Sideways: the Thursday paper use to have a huge section of weekend stuff
Eliza Madrigal: He's just finished his second semester and has started his third... doing really well
    Eden Haiku: Wonderful!
Eliza Madrigal: is applying for local jobs but no calls back yet
Eliza Madrigal: also he's teaching himself animation
    Riddle Sideways: wow

    Summertime and  ¨onimatapia¨

Eden Haiku: Ah yes, summertime, fish are jumping and the cotton is high :)))
Eliza Madrigal: so, up late at night trying to collaborate with people on the west coast.... have seen a beautiful transformation in him the last few years
    Riddle Sideways: summertime
    Eden Haiku: Animation, wow!
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, heard the Janis version of that yesterday
Eden Haiku: Didn't know she recorded "Summertime"...
Riddle Sideways: played the acoustic version this weekend, with 20 people singing
    Eliza Madrigal: whoa
Eden Haiku: Such a beautiful song :)
Eden Haiku: Kept singing it all the time last summer...
Eden Haiku: Learned that plural of "fish" can be "fish" :))
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Riddle Sideways: fishies
    Riddle Sideways: nope
Eden Haiku: Your daddy is rich and your ma's good-looking...
Riddle Sideways: so hush little baby
Eden Haiku: So hush baby don't you cry...
Eliza Madrigal:So many rules have been thrown out, that when I was growing up were crucial and important fish/fishes, octopi
Eden Haiku: Octopi? Like the plural in latin? oh wow...
    Riddle Sideways: sheep and sheepesiess
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Eden Haiku: No plural to sheep either right?
    Eden Haiku: But sheets yes
    Riddle Sideways: how wierd
    Riddle Sideways:weird
    Riddle Sideways:wired
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Storm Nordwind: If you are imitating Gollum, you definitely use those plurals :)
Eden Haiku: And Riddle is speeling along...LOL
Riddle Sideways: speelting is so interesting
    Eden Haiku: So musical...
    Eliza Madrigal: appropriate riddle language
    Riddle Sideways: ha,
Eden Haiku: Riddle is jamming with language
Eden Haiku: And sounds of the words, sounding words, resounding words
    Riddle Sideways: caught
    Eden Haiku: yep!
    Riddle Sideways: oh that word
    Riddle Sideways: onimatapia
    Eden Haiku: giggles
Riddle Sideways: SL, won't correct it

    Riddle Sideways: thank you
    Storm Nordwind: yw :)
    Eden Haiku: applauds Storm
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Riddle Sideways: hahaha

    Riddle Sideways: and Eliza
    Storm Nordwind: and the fountain

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: No much knowldege about SL these days here,,,
    Riddle Sideways: and those birdies
Eliza Madrigal: lights twinkling in the trees
Eden Haiku: A Firestorm update is looming over my computer... almost couldn't log in this morning but finally it opened up...
    Riddle Sideways: Looming FireStorms
    Riddle Sideways: see a theme
    Eden Haiku: Apocalyptic times

    Indiana Jones Storm

Storm Nordwind: Followeda random SLURL yesterday to some art gallery.Which had gone. And fell through to the ground and discovered a different sculpture project. So interesting my wife and I wandered around for an hour.
Eliza Madrigal: best sort of SLhappenstance
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Eden Haiku: Wow! What an Indiana Jones you are Storm :)
Riddle Sideways: nice when that happens
Storm Nordwind: There is still creativity here
Eliza Madrigal: once one stops looking for the big 'pop' of wow one may have experienced early on, re SL, there is richness to be found everywhere

    The Royal Wedding

Eden Haiku: The new green and orange platforms to our left reminded me Windsor's castle tartan grass...Did any of you watch the Royal Wedding?
Eliza Madrigal: would love to explore more, but have been saying it for a few years
Eliza Madrigal: I watched, yes, though didn't wake at 5 to do so :))
Eden Haiku: We girls, like fairy tales :)))
Eliza Madrigal: like this fairy tale :)
Eden Haiku: Was streaming the BBC at 5 am :)
    Eden Haiku: On my phone...
Storm Nordwind: Hey... are us guys allowed to like fairy tales too? :)
Eliza Madrigal: her mom... what serenity in such an overwhelming moment
Eden Haiku: The Mom was so serene yes, and such a beautiful pale green dress and coat. And the Queen in acid green. Wondered if they consult each other ?
Riddle Sideways: still trying to remember what happens after 'they all livied happily ever after..."
Eliza Madrigal: liked the photo of Meghan's dog riding in with the queen
Eden Haiku: Read the Sun and other English tabloidsto know what happens after Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: ah
    Eden Haiku: Oh, missed that...
Storm Nordwind: On second thoughts, don't read them!
    Riddle Sideways: ha
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eden Haiku: laugs
    Riddle Sideways: good thought
Eden Haiku: What did you think of the preacher who delivered the address?
Eliza Madrigal: had fun watching the subdued British responses to his lovely emotion
Eliza Madrigal: :) music wonderful... the sweetness of voice of the main choir singer
Eliza Madrigal: my only disappointment was, no fun hats really, nor fascinating fascinators
Eden Haiku: Indeed. I must have some Bristish blood too, I couldn't stand him...
    Eliza Madrigal: aw :)
Eden Haiku: Loved the young guy at the cello though...
Eliza Madrigal: I can't remember a thing he said, lol, but I love the clashing of sensibilities
    Eden Haiku: Ah!
Eden Haiku: Clashing yes. Apparently, he was improvising....
    Eliza Madrigal: oh, hm
Riddle Sideways: not the very subdued british speech
Storm Nordwind: Well, Brits love their curry ;)
Eliza Madrigal: I guess I was watching it like a British film.... when he went on long...
Eliza Madrigal: andI was giggling imagining everyone holding composure
    Riddle Sideways: you mean, asleep?
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Eden Haiku: giggles at Storm's pun...the Bishop was Michael Curry
    Eliza Madrigal: aha :)
Eden Haiku: Sure you didn’t  watch Storm? Or are ou just pretending?
Storm Nordwind: I didn't watch it no. Have seen reports. That's all.
Eden Haiku: You must have a royal drop in your blood?

    --BELL--

    SL royalty

Eden Haiku: You are such an American now, ditching royalty like that,,,
    Eliza Madrigal grins
Storm Nordwind: Everyone from Britain is in line to the throne. If 32,178,367 British people died, I would surely be Queen ;)
Eden Haiku: Like tea in the ocean...
Storm Nordwind: Except I had to renounce my title when I became a US citizen!
    Riddle Sideways: Storm Queen
    Eliza Madrigal imagines the film
Eliza Madrigal: you didn't/couldn't keep dual citizenship Storm?
Storm Nordwind: I still have a UK passport, but renouncing foreign titles is an oath you take when you 're granted US citizenship
Riddle Sideways: Storm can't answer that in open chat
Eden Haiku: I'm a living paradox. Watched the royal wedding and I'm celebrating Patriots Day here today. The 12 ones who were hanged by the Bristih and the 100 or so who were exiled in Australia and elsewhere after the 1837 Rebellion.
Eliza Madrigal: snapshot of our times? holding so many contradictory positions and feelings, openly?
Storm Nordwind: But I am here, now, with SL royalty. :)
    Riddle Sideways: ha
Eliza Madrigal: Storm has bestowed many crowns in SL, come to think of it
Eden Haiku: Let us wear our crowns :)
    Riddle Sideways: oh yes, remembering
Riddle Sideways: keys to the crown in the outhouse
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Storm Nordwind: haha!
    Storm Nordwind: Great memories :)
    Riddle Sideways: oh nice, Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: fun to see everyone's competitiveness or sheer stubbornness not giving up during the hunts
    Riddle Sideways: ha, found it
    Eliza Madrigal: glittering avatars

    Escape room places

Riddle Sideways:have y'all done any of the escape room places?
    Riddle Sideways: we've done 2
    Eliza Madrigal: here in SL?
    Riddle Sideways:in RL
Eliza Madrigal: on bucket list, but not yet :)
Eden Haiku: Can't find one of these in my inventory. Guess I didn’t win one :(
Riddle Sideways: fun to watch the logic of who goes with you
Eden Haiku: What are those Riddle?
Storm Nordwind wonders what escape room places are
    Eden Haiku: Escape rooms?
Eliza Madrigal: I distinctly remember your wearing one... though, my memory is timey-wimey
Eliza Madrigal listens re escape rooms
Riddle Sideways: they go by many names... looking
Eden Haiku: How are the crownes called in inventory?
    Eliza Madrigal: I searched 'crown'
    Eliza Madrigal: or 'treasure crown'
    Storm Nordwind: Or possibly tiara
Eden Haiku: did too. Found only this one. It will do. Noticed I'm not wearing my nose ring this morning...
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: Treasure crown it was, thanks :)
    Storm Nordwind: Aha!
    Eliza Madrigal: well suited
    Eden Haiku: Feeling royal :)))
Eliza Madrigal: and wearing purple :)
Eden Haiku: Only Storm isn't royalty?
Storm Nordwind: Storm is the king and queen maker
    Eliza Madrigal: kingmaker, hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Storm Nordwind: And has the honor of being associated with such an exalted crowd :))
Eden Haiku: Our own Dumbledore :)
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Or our sorting hat?
    Eliza Madrigal: lotus sorting hat
    Riddle Sideways: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g155032-Activities-c56-t208-Montreal_Quebec.html
Eliza Madrigal: "ministry of cricket and other homeless sports" ? :)
    Riddle Sideways: or https://denverescaperoom.com/

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Thank you Riddle. So these are escape rooms games? in RL?
    Riddle Sideways: or https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g34438-Activities-c56-t208-Miami_Florida.html
Storm Nordwind: "the infamous Crimson Storm" (from the Denver one)
    Eliza Madrigal: found yours!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: escaparium looks neat
Eliza Madrigal: good date night ideas :))
Riddle Sideways: yes, locked in a set of rooms for an hour
Storm Nordwind is glad he doesn't suffer from claustrophobia anymore
Eden Haiku: For an hour wow!
Eliza Madrigal has a mixed response to these situations, enjoy the fear a little
Eden Haiku: Who were you locked in with Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: fun to watch the logician, the adventurer, the look everywhere and the lucky people all together
    Eden Haiku: ah!
Riddle Sideways: second time just our family
Storm Nordwind: Sounds like a new version of Bartle's Taxonomy, Riddle
    Eden Haiku: Fun family game!
Eliza Madrigal: remember the book/study about bonding being stronger when in an exhilarating situation?
Eden Haiku: Maybe we should have "an escape room" in our own homes :)
    Eliza Madrigal: oh brb
    Eden Haiku: kk

    Darn updates

Riddle Sideways: most of these computers are like escape rooms
Riddle Sideways: each time start to leave them
Storm Nordwind: Certainly Windows 10 updates are
Riddle Sideways: they scream just one more minute
    Eliza Madrigal: back :)
Riddle Sideways: oh those darn updates
Riddle Sideways: this time lost second monitor
Riddle Sideways: last time it was the mouse thate got tossed
    Eliza Madrigal: ack
Storm Nordwind lost his microphone. Found a new screen for that. Had to switch off the new insidious "We have access to all your private documents" settings
Eden Haiku: Darn updates... lost music on phone with a previous update. Now I fear them all..
Eliza Madrigal: I haven't updated windows in a long time, becausea job I was doing needed me to stay with early version
Eden Haiku: Glad to hear even engineers dislike updates :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Storm Nordwind likes well-engineered updates
Eliza Madrigalponders glitches in RL updates
Riddle Sideways: yes, RL updates are so bad
Riddle Sideways: this getting old stuff
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Storm Nordwind: We get updates in RL too?
    Riddle Sideways: downgrades
Storm Nordwind: More like downdates perhaps?
Eliza Madrigal: some smoother than others, but maybe always some new bug in there
Eden Haiku: If Firestorm will let me in, I will be here for next session but then will miss June 4th and June 11th while on my Paris trip.
Storm Nordwind: Getting old is definitely not for sissies

    A major fall

Eliza Madrigal took a major fall yesterday... 3rd or 4th weird accident tis month
    Storm Nordwind: Oh no! :(
Riddle Sideways: wha... Paris does not allow SL?
Eden Haiku: Sorry to hear Eliza, are you hurt?
Eliza Madrigal: I can try to be here Eden, but it is hard to promise these days
Riddle Sideways: wow, be careful Eliza
Eden Haiku: No SL in Paris, it’s forbidden :))
Eliza Madrigal:I'm bruised up, but the main thing is how shocking it felt...
    Eden Haiku: Oh!
Eliza Madrigal: like a time delay, and so embarrassing
Eden Haiku: did you trip on something?
Eliza Madrigal: in front of the grocery, buying french bread and flowers
    Storm Nordwind: ((((Eliza)))) very gently
    Eliza Madrigal: wet painted stripes
    Eden Haiku: oh!...
Eliza Madrigal: slid like split, might have been graceful in younger hands, haha
Eden Haiku: Bruised doesn't feel good...
Riddle Sideways: fell in wet paint?
Eliza Madrigal: wet from rainon painted stripes on the asphalt
    Eden Haiku: Slippery?
Eliza Madrigal: the thing is, I keep doing these things
Eliza Madrigal: so I must be more 'off' than I think I am
    Eliza Madrigal: fragmented attentions
Riddle Sideways: hard to image Eliza Off
Eden Haiku: Or it's a Mercury influence on your astrological chart...
Eliza Madrigal: RL Eliza can be pretty off :))
Storm Nordwind: The only time when I felt impervious to that kind of thing is when I was doing Tai Chi regularly. The improvement in my poise was very noticeable.
Eliza Madrigal: there is something... maybe something like that would be good... was thinking of Eden's pilates
    Eliza Madrigal:bodily aware practice
Eden Haiku: Pilates does help for that.
Storm Nordwind: As if you need yet another activity Eliza! But we do want you safe.
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
Eliza Madrigal: yeah, that's the thing
Riddle Sideways: getting old is making body awareness too
Eden Haiku: Just noticing I didn't trip recently. I have a tendency to fall down too :)

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: do you Eden?
    Eden Haiku: Oh yes!
Riddle Sideways: need to go fall upstairs folks, thank you for your time.
Storm Nordwind: I liked Tai Chi because you have to move around with a space, rather than stay rooted to a mat. I think that helped spacial awareness.
    Eliza Madrigal: ntsy Riddle!
    Storm Nordwind waves
Eden Haiku: fall up with delight Riddle! Bye!
    Eliza Madrigal: fall up :)
Eliza Madrigal: have always had somewhat exceptional balance... so this is new .. tai chi group meets all over town, so a bit of a bother :)
Eliza Madrigal: wish I was like my kids, who can learn anything from youtube
Eden Haiku: all over town possibilities of slippery roads :) Not too good,,,
Eliza Madrigal: bought a whole sytem for ki gong years ago... and worked with it a little
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Eden
Storm Nordwind: I find you need balance and fast reaction times. Luckily I still have both. But most people seem to benefit from the exercises.
Eliza Madrigal: yes, running around finding slippery spots
Storm Nordwind: Though didn't find Qi gong so useful!
    Eliza Madrigal: no?
Storm Nordwind: Not for me. Many do though
Eliza Madrigal: it was interesting but I lost interest without a partner in crime
Eliza Madrigal: think I'm just hugely social
Eden Haiku: Hugely social hehe :)))
Storm Nordwind: Push hands is good for you!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: push hands?
Eden Haiku: It might just be some Mercury dissonance Eliza. Some days are like that...
    Eliza Madrigal: or months...
Storm Nordwind: You haven't seen push hands?! Something in good Tai Chi classes. You work with a partner. You'd like it
Eden Haiku: I'm very sensitive to the influences of planet Mercury. You might be too...
    Storm Nordwind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XALpOmuQR88
    Eliza Madrigal looks
Eden Haiku: Laugihng it off seems the best policy, And finding a good osteopath when the body is unbalanced after the fal...
    Eden Haiku: Ah beautiful!
Eliza Madrigal:bit of irony I've been going with daughter to physical therapy twice during the week
    Eliza Madrigal: grr slow loading
Eden Haiku: We do something like that in Biodanza too. In a slow manner, without pushing though. Just lightly touching , can't remember how it's called...
Storm Nordwind: Worth watching entire video when you can Eliza. And worth asking whether a class does push hands.
Eliza Madrigal imagines writing craigs list ad for handsy partner... lol
    Storm Nordwind: hahaha
Eden Haiku: You might find info here Eliza: http://www.biodanzamiami.com/
Eliza Madrigal: Okay thank you, saving links. I should have closed escape room pages first, now everything stuck :)
Eden Haiku: Oh!!! Trapped in escape rooms...
    Eliza Madrigal: ha ha ha
    Eliza Madrigal: full circle
    Eliza Madrigal:looming entrapment
    Storm Nordwind: Chased by metaphors
Eden Haiku: Looming entrapment would be a nice title for this log :))) [Changed my mind]
Eden Haiku: Time for me to leave and hang tableclothes on the line by a gorgeous day!
Storm Nordwind: Thank you for hosting Eden :))
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Eden and Storm (videos finally loading!)
Eden Haiku: Thank you for being here friends and take care (((Eliza)))
    Storm Nordwind: Take care!
Eden Haiku: Have a nice day both of you :)
    Eliza Madrigal: ((((hugs))))))

Added "We three kings" screenshot - though there's only one!

Warning: big pic (4K screen) and quite a large file, even though I reduced the quality substantially to shrink right it down.
