Riddle Sideways: yet another wave of the future
Riddle Sideways: will not distract you with any of it

Riddle Sideways: need to get your current data in
Riddle Sideways: much of it is about any given story.  How much and what presentation media was the story going out as
Riddle Sideways: if the reader had only 2 minutes or an hour
Riddle Sideways: was very interested or just given the mention
Riddle Sideways: the BBC R&D people are all over it
Adams Dubrovna: attention spans of the younger groups getting smaller

Riddle Sideways: it is a personal upsetness thing, over NPR 45-minute stories
Riddle Sideways: being in the kitchen for the whole time
Riddle Sideways: yet every few minutes they have to take a break
Riddle Sideways: (for a commericial, on non-commercial radio)
Riddle Sideways: going to that break, they always take a minute to say "this is me with her, when we come back we will talk about something interesting"

Riddle Sideways: then they come back and say "if you are just joining us... I am talking with her about ..."
Riddle Sideways: all that could be skipped
Riddle Sideways: but put in, if one had left the room
Riddle Sideways: sorry, personal rant, wishing for personalized stories
Riddle Sideways: of course without twisting the story line to exclude "Those Others' views"

Adams Dubrovna: there is so much media now, we all are having different expriences
Riddle Sideways: yes, and wish it to go one step further and give the consummer interactive control over it
Adams Dubrovna: some of us do not listen to the radio any more. NPR not so easy to get in our area
Adams Dubrovna: although they keep sending requests for money :)

Riddle Sideways: 25 years ago, tried to get NPR at parents house, so they could listen to "A prarie home companion"
Riddle Sideways: could not get it
Riddle Sideways: so, started taping it on cassette tapes (remember those kids?) and sending it to them
Riddle Sideways: was a great present to them

Riddle Sideways: it caught up to others, and some of them did not quit and go away

Adams stood and danced just right for the outfit.  Took 2 photos, but neither turned out correctly. Darn settings that show a good preview then chop the left side off.
