Eden and Adams
Dressed for the same party
Eden Haiku: Good morning Adams!
Adams Rubble: Good morning Eden :)
—BELL--
Adams Rubble: we look like we are dressed for the same party this morning :)
Eden Haiku: Yes! A garden party :)
Adams Rubble: I hope you are well
Eden Haiku: Yes, quite fine, thanks. How are you?
Adams Rubble: I am well. We just had a wicked hot spell
Adams Rubble: starting to break some today but very very humid
Eden Haiku: Same here. SOOO humid. But last night it cooled down
Eden Haiku: The starry sky was wonderful!
Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: Cool air must be on your way...
Adams Rubble: It will be cool and rainy tomorrow I think and then level off in the high 80s for the rest of the week
Eden Haiku: Hot is not as bad as humid...that is the worst, humidity, isn'it?
Adams Rubble: yes, when it is humid 80 degrees F is brutal
Eden Haiku: Even the deer seemed to suffer
Adams Rubble: oh my
Adams Rubble: they are multiplying like rabbits around here
Eden Haiku: She was lying by the woods, grazing on wild strawberries
Adams Rubble: I met two fawns on my walk on Saturday
Adams shared a beautiful picture of the fawns, but I couldn't add them to the log, unfortunately...
Adams Added the Picture Later
Eden Haiku: We also see a lot of them this summer...
Adams Rubble: they seemed very curious
Eden Haiku: Fawns are soooo cute!!!
Eden Haiku: One of the does comes with her 3 fawns, another one with two. Unless it's the same doe: it's confusing. They all look mostly the same :)
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: The deer seem to be having more fawns
Adams Rubble: Your session will be the only 7 am session this week becauseRiddle is away
Eden Haiku: Is he? At a music festival?
Adams Rubble: he is somewhere here on the east coast enjoying our heat spell
Eden Haiku: Oh!!!
Adams Rubble: our Seattle visitors made it out before it turned nasty
Eden Haiku: Waving to Riddle on this side of the continent!
Adams Rubble: :)
—BELL--
Adams Rubble: hey Riddle!
A little dance
Eden Haiku: Lucky for them
Adams Rubble: the little one visited Saturday to get out of the house. When she came into our air conditioned house she did a little dance :)
Adams Rubble: get out of the heat
Adams Rubble: she will be living fairly close to us soon
Eden Haiku: very nice!
Eden Haiku: You will get happy dances and big hugs all the time!
Adams Rubble: we will be seeing much more of her. May be babysitting two days a week
Eden Haiku: Brace yourself for entering happy dances!
Eden Haiku: She will whirlwind you into her joy!
Adams Rubble: she is very resilient
Adams Rubble: I did an interview for an oral history yesterday. It is very moving to share personal details with another person
Adams Rubble: I borrowed two picture albums of family photos
Eden Haiku: When hearing about my companion losing his Mom, my 4 yo grandnephew said: "when he looks into the sky at night, he will see his mommy in a star"
Adams Rubble:We live close together and do not know how alike we all are
Eden Haiku: Yes, personal details shared are very moving,
Adams Rubble: that is a nice thought and not that far off the mark
Adams Rubble: we are all star stuff :)
Eden Haiku: True Adams, all the fundamentals in life are sooo similar....
Adams Rubble: so many happy moments and so many losses
Eden Haiku: It was his great-grandfather's theory but I doubted he ever heard about it...
Eden Haiku: Yes…
—BELL--
Eden Haiku: Had time to bring his coffee to my companion. He is still having breakfast in bed, still feeling so-so in the mornings, dizzy and sad...
Adams Rubble understands
Adams Rubble: somehow we find a way to go on when we lose someone dear
Adams Rubble: our life can be a tribute to their life
Eden Haiku: Yesterday, I snapped : " I'm not your mother " about something childish he asked...without realizing what I was saying. He teared up. I felt soooo sorry...
Adams Rubble: we carry part of them in us
Eden Haiku: Yes, remembering what they shared with us is soothing...
Adams Rubble: the fact that you moved at the same time must add to the stress even though it was a good move
Adams Rubble: two changes at once
Eden Haiku: yep, hard on the nerves. Still not completely unpacked after 12 days! Never been so slow...
Adams Rubble: hugs
Eden Haiku: Thanks Adams :)
Eden Haiku: I have been working on a new novel for months and I stopped a few weeks ago, because of all that happened.
Adams Rubble: maybe you will get some new ideas during this down time
—BELL—
1% of my time
Eden Haiku: So when I got here, I decided to use 1% of my time writing it. 14 minutes and 27 seconds six days a week. I put an alarm. And it works!
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: Pema strikes again !
Eden Haiku: Not sure where it goes, I just revise the last part before starting but it is reassuring...
Eden Haiku: Yes :)
Adams Rubble: work can be a great healer if one does not overdo itlike some people I know
Eden Haiku: And I write after my first walk, as soon as I come back
Adams Rubble speaking of self
Eden Haiku: smiles at Adams...
Eden Haiku: Read that Rubble had been sent to rest as Dubrovna reported to Riddle last week...
Adams Rubble: That actually was two weeks ago I think
Eden Haiku: Maybe... you had been sent to rest?
Adams Rubble: It wasn’t me who needed a rest
Adams Rubble: Sometimes the RL person moves far away from an avatar
Adams Rubble: the RL person is the one who needed the rest :)
Eden Haiku: How interesting...
Adams Rubble: the RL avatar was facing some issues on how people were viewing the person
Adams Rubble: It left no room for me
Eden Haiku: Oh!
Adams Rubble: so i was sent off on vacation
Eden Haiku: Where did you go? Tahiti? The Bahamas?
Adams Rubble: the beach :)
Adams Rubble: I sat in the sun and read
Eden Haiku: Wonderful! You live near beaches...
Adams Rubble: yes. I live on the beach in SL
Adams Rubble: no storms, no floods, no rain
Adams Rubble: just sunny weather
Adams Rubble: perfect for reading and meditating
Adams Rubble: it would be a good place to write :)
Eden wants a car
Eden Haiku:Wanted to rent a carto go to a beautiful quiet clear lake, but there were no cars available at all for weeks ahead...
Adams Rubble: :(
Adams Rubble: can you bicycle there?
Eden Haiku: Taxis to come back from the village market when it’s humid are hard to get was well
Eden Haiku: No Uber either...
Adams Rubble: how far is it to the market?
Eden Haiku: No, lake is too far and all up hills
Eden Haiku: So now, l guess what, I WANT A CAR
Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku:All these annoying ads on TV got to me finally…
—BELL--
Eden Haiku: Market is only about 30 minutes walk away
Eden Haiku: But coming back with half a crate of strawberries, as well as raspberries, blueberries, lettuces, onions, cucumbers, brocolis, tomatoes and so on is a lot to carry when it is hot and humid. My companion came to the market withy me, but I didn't want him to suffer from the heat
Adams Rubble: oh yes
Adams Rubble: much to carry
Eden Haiku: We had to wait for the taxi half-an-hour sitting on a terrace, in the shade, so we got lucky. So if the guy is giving a ride to someone to another village, we could wait forever...
Adams Rubble: ohhh
Eden Haiku: Hence, I WANT A CAR
Adams Rubble: brb
Eden Haiku:For the first time in my life,. I really WANT A CAR....
Eden Haiku: I'm part of a time-share car rental in Montreal and I wanted to rent one for one month, but none were available then...
Eden Haiku: I'm a victim of tv and online adverts of CARS....Please, Greta Thurnberg, save me!
Eden Haiku: Sorry for my rant listener :)
Adams Rubble: back, reading
Eden Haiku: Sorry for the rant Adams :)
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble:well, understandable
Adams Rubble:it is hard without one
Adams Rubble: easier in a big city
A wish-fulfilling tree and a wardrobe mishap
Eden Haiku: A young poet I know wrote on Twitter this week : "I want a cherry tree, a writing grant and a baby."
Adams Rubble: sometimes one wants to get away from the routine
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble thinks of baby Jesus and the Cherry tree
Eden Haiku: I found her so funny, I have been creating my own list;"I want roses, a literary award and a car" :)))
Eden Haiku: But it's not as funny as hers
Eden Haiku: What would be your wish list Adams?
Adams Rubble: I would have to think about it. maybe I have everything i want right now
Eden Haiku: You are a wish-fulfilling tree Adams )) Thank you!
Adams gave me a beautiful bouquet of roses, but I forgot it’s always better to add than to wear…
Adams Rubble: ohh the roses did in your beautiful dress
Adams Rubble: always good to remember to add :)
Eden Haiku: Oh, I see... chat box was hiding…
—BELL--
Eden Haiku: Well, I'm finishing the session in a mesh nude :)))
Eden Haiku: Thank you so much for being here Adams.
Adams Rubble: Thank you Eden :)
Eden Haiku: Wishing you cool air and blue skies
Adams Rubble: I hope you have a good day. I enjoyed your garden party
Adams Rubble: bye for now
Eden Haiku: Bye!
After posting the log, I tested with a bigger snapshot (2542 X 1390). Can't insert image. If I drag the picture, it becomes a stamp size photo. Would anyone have a tip about how to post photos on wiki? It used to be easy. I'm now using Second Life Viewer. Sent a ticket, but the wiki doesn't have support anymore.
