stevenaia Michinaga: or do you just like the birds chirping and the water flowing?
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: Oh well I love those too =) but I am very interested in philosophy and aesthetics. I'm studying art history right now =)
stevenaia Michinaga: SL offers all sorts of interesting opportunities that RL simply can't easily offer

stevenaia Michinaga: cool, yes we do host various art and discussion/book groups in addition to our regular scheduled session
stevenaia Michinaga: dream sessions are always fun, a very interesting aspect of reality
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: so what do you guys do in these sessions? =)
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: I would love to chat about reality and spirituality...
stevenaia Michinaga: discuss whatever comes up, we have a scheduled 90-second pause every 15 minutes as part of our discussion, we do this to take a different perspective and reflect on our discussion, like a mini-meditation

stevenaia Michinaga: sometimes it can be very refreshing to just..... stop
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: reality is all of the human experience
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: including those weird private magical moments
stevenaia Michinaga: as is spirituality
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: and everyday stuff like buying groceries or doing your taxes

stevenaia Michinaga: taxes are always a show stopper
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: it feels so nice and peaceful here
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: oh yes.. but i meant like.. everyday life
stevenaia Michinaga: our discussions tend to be more a collection of opinions rather than an argument like some
stevenaia Michinaga: I find that leads to greater creativity

stevenaia Michinaga: I am actively working with that aspect of reality every day in my RL work
stevenaia Michinaga: although there are groups in SL who also address such thing in RL here in SL
stevenaia Michinaga: it strange to think what will there be of the reality of we perish

ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: well I've been thinking... what about all the creatures of the past who have been affected by change in the earth?
stevenaia Michinaga: who would be around to think the thoughts to improve things, or just keep it from self-destructing
stevenaia Michinaga: what about then, something there is no end to life, it just moves around
stevenaia Michinaga: *think
stevenaia Michinaga: reincarnation
stevenaia Michinaga: quantum energy or some such
stevenaia Michinaga: life itself is so impossible, who/what thought that one up
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: well we wouldn't know what it would be like to live somewhere without life
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: i think reincarnation is very possible
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: it would be like waking up from a long sleep
stevenaia Michinaga: like cooking a meal, no one would expect an elephant to emerge from that, but here we are
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: the atoms are rearranged sometime again in an infinite number of years, and the consciousness that makes you you arises again
stevenaia Michinaga: hard to imagine it's all random
stevenaia Michinaga: but will we ever know?
stevenaia Michinaga: who would create a machine that just asks questions

stevenaia Michinaga: who would create us and who would create the environment that put us here, perplexing
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: if there's a creator, who created the creator?
stevenaia Michinaga: and what happens when we figure it all out? Go have dinner? Dance?
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: i think there would always be more questions =)
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: the origin of life is a big one though
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: you'd think as living things... we should know more about these things!
stevenaia Michinaga: well we do have quite a while to figure it all out, so no rush for the patient
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: humans have been questioning the origin of life and God since caveman days
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, a good thing... until someone stops questions and says they have the (only) answer
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: yes I don't think that's a good way to go about doing things
ceciliaceciliacecilia Resident: even theories we base our tech on are always being updated
