1. Oftentimes, the direction of an interview may cause misrepresentations. What did the interviewer get wrong or miss about you in the first interview?
I found no problems. It was clear and straightforward.
2. What has changed in your relationship with the Play-as- Being community or how has Play-as- Being changed for you?
There have been significant changes since we moved to a much smaller place. I don't feel we are the tightly-knit community we once were. Many PaB members have dropped out or visit infrequently and the attendance at the daily sessions has seriously diminished. Discussion groups such as Ways of Knowing, The I-Ching, and the Dream workshops have stopped. Those who do attend our pavilion meeting are very committed and contribute in a wide variety of ways. For a while I was somewhat inactive but have returned and am enjoying the sessions in which we discuss new ideas.
My appearance has also changed since our last interview; I am a little fatter and better dressed. :-)
3. What have you learned from Play-as- Being? and/or What have you learned from individuals in Play-as- Being?
I have learned a lot from the recent discussions around Maxine's book, The Wisdom of Lived Experience. Not only am I learning more about neuroscience, but I am enjoying the contributions of everyone who participates in these discussions; we are a warm, funny, insightful group.
With the patient help of Bleu and Storm I have learned how to build art works and decorate my little garden plot-- now I can make sure I am up-to- date with the seasons so there are herbs and flowers in the summer, colourful leaves in the fall, snow in the winter and spring green in the spring!
4. Please list and/or describe any events you organized or participated in during the last two years. This question is one way to record these events for the Chronicles. (Photographs welcome).
I have attended all our birthday parties and have been able to contribute toward their organization. It has also been nice to participate in some of the theatrical events that have taken place first in the Molecule Theatre and then in our theatre in the sky. There have been the celebrations that have taken place near the pavilion, like the Winter Solstice dancing and art project on December 18, 2016, the Poetry Bash on March 29, 2015, the Retreat meetings at the end of July 2015, 2012, and early February 2011, and our collaborations with ACT Theatre (Bajoy), and all our Art as Being exhibitions
