Eliza Madrigal: we can try to bring you closer though...teleporting

    --BELL--

    Eden Haiku: Wonderful!
Ataraxia Azemus: I've been there, Mick
    Mickorod Renard: cool
Riddle Sideways: what an image... just turning up the Amazon
Aphrodite Macbain: I thought you were referring to the other Amazon
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
    Bleu Oleander: lol
    Mickorod Renard: he he
    Ataraxia Azemus: hehe
Eliza Madrigal: I'm sure some of us are on amazon and in session all the time, hah
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)

Mickorod Renard: lumya or something eden
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Steve
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Stevenaia :))
    Aphrodite Macbain: *Ecuador
    stevenaia Michinaga: greetings
    Ataraxia Azemus: Stay safe/dry!
    Bleu Oleander: hi steve
    Aphrodite Macbain: waves at Stevenaia
    Eden Haiku: Hi Steve :)
    Ataraxia Azemus: Hi Stevenaia
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles, thank you

    Beginning with Riddle...

Eliza Madrigal: I wonder if Wol is having trouble getting here....
stevenaia Michinaga: I may be in and out this afternoon, so if I don;t respond I am not ignoring you
Eliza Madrigal: but don't want to wait much longer to dive into the questions lingering from last week
    stevenaia Michinaga: My avatar is
Eliza Madrigal: Okay Stevie, thanks for saying
Riddle Sideways: this typist needs to leave about 1:30
Eliza Madrigal: So we will start with you Riddle, if OK?
    Riddle Sideways: ah, tanks
Eliza Madrigal: Are you still feeling blocked by the 4 views?

Riddle Sideways: as the Blocked Blockhead from last session, Riddle would like to go first
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Eden Haiku: :)
Riddle Sideways: The missed piece of the puzzle was that the exercise was to change the visualized "Body" into a "Person".
Riddle Sideways: 3 of the 4 views are very related to time: lifetime(#1), aware time(#2), event/appearacne/pattern times(#3).
Riddle Sideways: We will take up time in the next section, but it seems to be tied to the definition of a Person.
Eliza Madrigal: that is a great insight
    Riddle Sideways: now doing better

    stevenaia Michinaga: waves to Wol
    Agatha Macbeth: Wollie ♥
    Bruce Mowbray: ahhhh, excellent insight.
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Wol :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Wol
Wol Euler: evening all, sorry I'm late
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Wol
    Mickorod Renard: hi wol
    Ataraxia Azemus: Hi Wol :)
    Bruce Mowbray: IN-SIGHT --- (!)
    Eden Haiku: Wol :)
    Riddle Sideways: ha
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Wol.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: Hi Wol :)
Eliza Madrigal: Is there more you can say about working with that?
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: was just saying "hi Wol"
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Riddle Sideways: then catching up

    Riddle Continuing...

Riddle Sideways: the body->person has become several bodies:
Riddle Sideways: a. the Visualized huge body from eaeier exercises, which alternates between not having a face and an expressionless bland face (no emotions). Adding a Person face was hard. Hopefully the exercises can be done without a face frowning back.

Riddle Sideways: b. an Alt body in SL that is only a little bit of this typist, but has developed personality, emotions, activities, situations and even highs and lows.
    Mickorod Renard: :-)

Riddle Sideways: c. an avatar Riddle in SL that has most all of the RL Riddle in there, but can fly, play, dance, fall from great heights and be younger. So, there is some fakiness there.

Riddle Sideways: d. and an envisioned huge Riddle that a little thought ego mind (me!) can navigate in and around. e.g. looking in the ear canel for the source of that buzzing.

Riddle Sideways: Having 4 body->persons and (mostly) using 4 Views to take any suggested/picked/random situation and watch the
Riddle Sideways: Interplays, psycologicals, physiologicals, interactions, meanings and details.
Riddle Sideways: e.g. each body has microbes, bacteria, viruses in A Space.
Riddle Sideways: visiting that Space as a powerful antibiotic runs its course.
Riddle Sideways: is a pattern that this body-person has done before, but does not have to be frozen at.
Riddle Sideways: while visiting the blood stream in the lungs to count bacteria
Riddle Sideways: all the other organs, cells, atoms and body were still translucient/shining
    Riddle Sideways: .
Riddle Sideways: Real Riddle(d) was mostly observation.
Riddle Sideways: the other 3 'bodies' grew (more) personalities, memories,
Riddle Sideways: Freezing is more like snapshots. and memories of snapshots
Riddle Sideways: patterns emerge and then the body's personality traits became patterning that played the events.
Riddle Sideways: Yet, these persons still remain as Space (view 4).
Riddle Sideways: the SL avatar know to y'all as Riddle remains Space (not frozen pixels).
Riddle Sideways: done, but noticing even cut-n-paste has typos

Eliza Madrigal: wow, you are not kidding that you have unblocked!
Agatha Macbeth: Typos make the world go round
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eliza Madrigal: very insightful... will likely read a few times...
    Mickorod Renard: Yes, me too
Riddle Sideways: took almost the week to write
Bleu Oleander feels more blocked after listening to Riddle hehe
Aphrodite Macbain looks at Riddle in a whole new way
Eden Haiku: Officially unblocked Riddle, totally thawed!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles at Eden
Riddle Sideways: should take you a few minutes to read
    Eliza Madrigal: indeed
Bruce Mowbray: Riddle has really worked hard with this. Congratulations, Riddle!
Eliza Madrigal: I find that these sessions should be read at least a few times
Eden Haiku: likes very much this; "looking in the ear canel for the source of that buzzing."
    Riddle Sideways: ah shucks
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    Eden

Eliza Madrigal: Eden, are you ready?
Eden Haiku: I tired of exercise 6 so went for 7, so I better pass for now. maybe at the end of session?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, no that's fine Eden
    Eden Haiku: is it?
Eliza Madrigal: Sure, some are a little ahead or behind
Mickorod Renard: I have too Eden
Eliza Madrigal: and actually Riddle reached into 7 and 8 in a way too

Eden Haiku: Ok then, sorry bell we are so many, I better start now,
Eden Haiku: TSK exercise 7 : Body-Mind-Thought Interplay
Eden Haiku: 1-Derelict 6 feet tall Native Indian woman stepping into my bubble in the subway car.
    Agatha Macbeth: 0.0
    Eden Haiku: 2-She's begging.
    Bruce Mowbray: p. 35.
Eden Haiku: 3-She's coming too close: I don't open my handbag.
Eden Haiku: 4-She heavily sits down in the seat perpendicular to mine.
Eden Haiku: 5-Scratches her dirty pitch black hair under the hood she’s wearing.
Eden Haiku: 6- Repulsed, I wonder if she has head lice.
Eden Haiku: 7- Catching myself, I choose to send her love instead of judging her, wishing her health and happiness.
Eden Haiku: 8- Seconds later, she turns towards me and says: "Ça sent bon ton parfum!"
    Aphrodite Macbain: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: :p
Eden Haiku: 9- It means ¨It smells good, your perfume!¨
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Eden Haiku: 10- She says it in French.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eden Haiku: 11-Must be from far away in Northern Quebec, a Cree maybe.
Eden Haiku: 12- Her large face is beaming a big smile.
Riddle Sideways: everything sounds better in french
    Aphrodite Macbain: :)
    Bruce Mowbray: oui
    Catrinamonblue Resident: oui :)
Eden Haiku: 13- Her almond-shaped eyes are sparkling.
    Agatha Macbeth: Menus certainly do
Eden Haiku: 14- I smile back at her.
Eden Haiku: 15- I can't locate exactly the sensation in my body, in my gut maybe: a feeling of oneness in Great Space.
Eden Haiku: 16-Only later do I realize she’s the giantess with raven hair incarnated of a previous visualization
    Eliza Madrigal: oh my
Eden Haiku: 17- We flew together into a higher order.
    Eden Haiku: I’m done :)

    Agatha Macbeth: Amazing Edie
    Mickorod Renard: fantastic...wonderful
    Eden Haiku: Tks
Eliza Madrigal: thank you... really took us through a transformative process
    Wol Euler: wow
    Bruce Mowbray: indeed.
Riddle Sideways: Yes, there is always a higher order and higher way
    Aphrodite Macbain sniffs
Agatha Macbeth gives Aph a handkerchief

Mickorod Renard: I have to go folks...I am with you all in spirit
    Bruce Mowbray: FINE parfume.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: Beautiful Eden :)
Wol Euler: ((hello Vi, I didn't see you arrive))
Ataraxia Azemus: Be well and safe and dry, Mick
Agatha Macbeth: Aww, have fun Mick
Eliza Madrigal: Okay Mick, write us on the wiki!!
    Aphrodite Macbain: bon voyage Mick
Bruce Mowbray: bye for now, Mick. Be mindful with the natives.
    Ataraxia Azemus: :) Wol
Mickorod Renard: love to you all xx
Eden Haiku: Bye Mick! Thanks for coming!
Wol Euler: bye mick, don't fall off the boat
    Eliza Madrigal: xoxo
    Agatha Macbeth: Mind the piranhas
    Bruce Mowbray: yes, the piranhas...
Riddle Sideways: have a great time Amazoning
Eliza Madrigal: isn't it amazing how when you meet someone you might not find them beautiful but later may, or vice versa.... lovely report Eden
    Aphrodite Macbain: amazing amazoning
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Eden Haiku: Thank you all for listening so well :)
Aphrodite Macbain: fear and discomfort dropped away
Eliza Madrigal: already so *full* today

    Wol

Eliza Madrigal: Wol, your turn :))
Wol Euler: I'm sorry, I have to pass. I have nothing tonight. Though I reserve the right to toss in odd comments along the way.
Eliza Madrigal: Okay, just fine :)
Eliza Madrigal: If anything comes up, just signal
    Wol Euler nods.
Eliza Madrigal: Stevenaia, are you with us?
Ataraxia Azemus sets an irregular basket out for catching odd comments
stevenaia Michinaga: I AM BACK, MISSING ALL THAT CAME BEFORE ME
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: opps, sorry about the caps
    Eliza Madrigal smiles at Violet
    Agatha Macbeth rubs her ears

Eliza Madrigal: :) Stevie, that's okay... can read later
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Eden Haiku: LOL

    Stevenaia

stevenaia Michinaga: I have been keeping up with the readings but not so much the specific exercises
stevenaia Michinaga: in the book, not here
stevenaia Michinaga: so I can't give an excercise by the numbers recap
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: however, in lieu of that
stevenaia Michinaga: I think I will take my time and try one exercise per week so I don;t feel rushed and stick with the time I have, benifiting for the group's experiences :)

stevenaia Michinaga: I did have a sort of revelation while reading and musing about the excerises in general...
    Eden Haiku: Oh?
stevenaia Michinaga: that the deeper I got into the visuallizations brought me deeper into the spacial aspects of the palces between all the atoms
stevenaia Michinaga: thinking about it I caught that eveything is the space between things, especially at the atomic scale thining small
stevenaia Michinaga: all that is is sppace and the energy... no solids
stevenaia Michinaga: I was quite happy with that . :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
stevenaia Michinaga: so small and large scale is not relevant
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s all space... done

Eden Haiku: the dance of particles :)
Eliza Madrigal: very nice :) you are musing deeply
    Agatha Macbeth: Allegro non troppo
Eliza Madrigal happily read one phrase as "palaces between all the atoms"
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Riddle Sideways: yep, it is all spacey

    --BELL--

Riddle Sideways: ooo, like that Eliza
Aphrodite Macbain: small and large are irrelevant?
    Eliza Madrigal: me too ^.^
    Eden Haiku: me too :)
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, reminded me of early discussions with pema about surface solidity being an illusion
Agatha Macbeth: Size doesn't matter ;-)
Bleu Oleander: palaces in space :)
stevenaia Michinaga: Aph, they are the same thing

    Violet

Eliza Madrigal: Violet, even though you haven't been with us so far, are there any comments or observations you'd like to make?
Riddle Sideways: phantom prims are just an illusion
Ataraxia Azemus: I'm happy to just keep listening :)
stevenaia Michinaga: Has Violet been reading the book? (this is sort of a book club at the moment)
    Eliza Madrigal: :) sure, ty
Eliza Madrigal: Violet just joined us today, but the discussion itself sparks all kinds of thoughts I'm sure
    Ataraxia Azemus: I haven't, no...my orbit here's a little wobbly these days
    Wol Euler smiles.
Eliza Madrigal: If I remember, Violet didn't you join us for Ways of Knowing at Kira?
    Ataraxia Azemus: Yep :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: good memory Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: remember interesting comments :)

    Bruce

    Eliza Madrigal: Bruce, ready? :)
Bruce Mowbray: I've introduced Violet to what we're doing here and given her a link to the wiki sessons on TSK.... I've also been concentrating on the transformation of "space" that happens in the progression through the "Four Views" -- p. 33-34. And, like steve, I've had a few revelations. . . .
Riddle Sideways: ok, need to go have fun someplace else
Bruce Mowbray: although dancing particles and gravitation waves are truly fascinating....
Eliza Madrigal: :) see you soon Riddle, ty
    Ataraxia Azemus: Be well, Riddle!
Eden Haiku: Thanks for your input Riddle!
Bruce Mowbray: bye for now, Riddle.
    Wol Euler: bye riddle
    Agatha Macbeth: TC Rid
Riddle Sideways: Wol, would you put some odd comments in for me too
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
    Wol Euler: heheheh
Wol Euler: oky, I will do my best
    Aphrodite Macbain: :D
Agatha Macbeth: Wollie always does :p
    Riddle Sideways: by All
    Aphrodite Macbain: waves
Eliza Madrigal: Bruce, wish to start again? :)

Bruce Mowbray: I trust you've all seen this: https://www.quantamagazine.org/20160...463e-389505417
Bruce Mowbray: No need to begin again. Thanks, but I'm fine.
    Eliza Madrigal nods, have seen
Wol Euler: perhaps not that particular article, but the message, yes
    Wol Euler: very exciting
Bruce Mowbray: The "space" that the book talks about is --- I feel ---- empty.
Bruce Mowbray: So, that's where my "insights" came from this week.
Eden Haiku: Yep, and saw Wol 's video link :)
Ataraxia Azemus: It's been making waves in the media
Bruce Mowbray: I discovered, for example, that "empty" does not mean "apathetic."
    Wol Euler: *rimshot*
Bruce Mowbray: I actually feared that it might -- that it might be the same thing as "empty of caring."
    Bruce Mowbray: It is not.
Bruce Mowbray: My best friend's father died this week,
Bruce Mowbray: and his memorial will be tomorrow,
    Wol Euler: oh no
Bruce Mowbray: and I have been retreating and taking refuge in "space"...
    Eden Haiku: Sorry to hear
    Eliza Madrigal: *
Bruce Mowbray: and I can definitely report that "space" and "apathy" are not synonyms,
Bruce Mowbray: but I feel that "space" (as the book means it) and "emptiness" are synonyms.
    Bruce Mowbray: enough for now.
    Bruce Mowbray: [done]

Eliza Madrigal: interesting Bruce, ty.... much to consider there
    Wol Euler nods.
    Bruce Mowbray: sry abt spln.
Eden Haiku: Thanks. A feeling space then?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, a compassionate space, too.
Bruce Mowbray: like Eden and the Cree woman, sort of.
    Bruce Mowbray: maybe.
    Bruce Mowbray: [done]
Eliza Madrigal: a space that allows
Eden Haiku: Great Compassion as on Eliza's page
Aphrodite Macbain: you need space for compassion to fill it?
Bruce Mowbray nods, yes, good point, Eden.
    Eliza Madrigal resonates, yes
Bruce Mowbray: Perhaps you just need to "drop" all the stuff and compassion was there all along.
Bruce Mowbray listens for Cat's input.
    Eden Haiku: Ah, beautiful....
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: ^.^
Aphrodite Macbain: getting out of your way

    Cat

Catrinamonblue Resident: I am a bit behind everyone, have had to ration energy and not been able to do the exercises. I hope over the next week to catch up so to speak
    Catrinamonblue Resident: done
Eden Haiku: sure, no problem Cat:)
Eliza Madrigal: :) but no pressure.... from the beginning we all know that we will not be exactly on the same page..
Eliza Madrigal: and yet we are, somehow, it feels :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: I know.. just feel a bit disapointed is all
Catrinamonblue Resident: love hearing everyone else's experinces
Eden Haiku: We catch up by capillarity in a way :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) I think we all have that feeling sometimes
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps for some of us the slow road is the way to go

    Agatha

Eliza Madrigal: Aggers, comments this week?
Agatha Macbeth: Only the amazing things I've been hearing
Ataraxia Azemus: I'm feeling slow and energy-depleted myself, so I understand the feeling
    Agatha Macbeth: Nothing for myself
Agatha Macbeth hands on to Liz
    Eliza Madrigal nods...

    Eliza Madrigal: thank you :)
    Agatha Macbeth: YW
    Agatha Macbeth: Woof
    Eliza Madrigal laughs...
    Eden Haiku: LOL

    Eliza

Eliza Madrigal: It is hard for me to give my report this week, and I'm wondering whether writing it may be easier, but I will try...

    --BELL--

    Wol Euler listens.
Eliza Madrigal: writing it out of session context I mean
Eliza Madrigal: I did begin to do that on the wiki, as Eden mentioned, and had an experience with Great Space as Great Compassion....
    Bruce Mowbray nods, listens.
Eliza Madrigal: which was relaxing and lovely
Eliza Madrigal: but when I was grappling with the 4 views....
Eliza Madrigal: I was trying to understand it a bit technically, what was being asked...
Eliza Madrigal: and came up with a kind of grid
Eliza Madrigal: I probably should have tried to draw what I saw... which was the exercises we did previously with the Giant Body.... which increasingly brought us into greater detail and greater spaciousness
    Eliza Madrigal: simultaneously....
Eliza Madrigal: and then these four views, which basically wrote out as if a formula, the journey we'd just taken and asked us to go back into the previous exercises...
    Bruce Mowbray nods.
Eliza Madrigal: so there was kind of this criss cross effect of a scale, which at the end was shiny outlined like a grid or a hm... design doll like my daughter uses to make clothes...
Eliza Madrigal: and it was shiny and open
    Eden Haiku: oh!
Eliza Madrigal: and friendly..... then beginning to become, as Riddle insightfully said, a person
Eliza Madrigal: I hadn't seen it that way until he said that then aha
    Eliza Madrigal: Okay done :)

    Wol Euler smiles.
Eliza Madrigal: I know it is weird
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
    Eden Haiku: Great!
    Wol Euler: not at all
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Bruce Mowbray: not at all weird, Eliza.
Eden Haiku: collective intelligence at work!
    Bruce Mowbray: very relatable.
    Eliza Madrigal: ty :)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes, Eden!
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Eliza Madrigal: Aph, do you have comments or anything you'd like to say about the sessions etc?

    Aphrodite

    Aphrodite Macbain: Thanks
Bruce Mowbray: Welcome to the throng, Aph!
Eliza Madrigal: (Aph is joining us for the first time too)
Aphrodite Macbain: Only to say that I discovered the book 2 days ago so thought I would put my toe in
    Agatha Macbeth: A bookmark's easier
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Ataraxia Azemus: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Eden Haiku: Agga :)
Aphrodite Macbain: I am wondering whether it would be better to read from the beginning rather than leaping into this section
    Bruce Mowbray ponders toe-vision.
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I would definitely recommend that, Aph-ji.
Wol Euler: I think yes, Aph
Aphrodite Macbain: I feel a bit out of my depth
Catrinamonblue Resident: same here Aph :)
Bruce Mowbray: very understandable. . . . since we've been discussing this for weeks... but you will quickly catch up, Aph.
Aphrodite Macbain: So I will try and catch up, but am really enjoying what everyone is saying
    Bruce Mowbray: and Cat.
Eden Haiku: Jump in Aph and you will see it unfold!
Aphrodite Macbain: and the language you are using :-)
Aphrodite Macbain hands the mic to Bleu
Bleu Oleander: oops ... we lost Eliza :)
    Bruce Mowbray listens ....
    Bruce Mowbray: she'll be back.
    Eden Haiku: listening to Bleu
Aphrodite Macbain: thanks for your encouragement :-)
Bruce Mowbray: I will give Eliza whatever she misses....
Eden Haiku: de nada Aph :)
Bruce Mowbray also listens to Bleu.
    Aphrodite Macbain: gracias Eden
    Aphrodite Macbain: here she comes!

    Bleu

Bleu Oleander: I feel very "spacey" today and unfrozen ... hard to find the "language" to fit the feeling ... so will pass for the moment ...
Eden Haiku: Eliza is floating back :)
Ataraxia Azemus: I'm feeling it with you, Bleu
    Ataraxia Azemus: Welcome back :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: and unfrozen!
Eliza Madrigal: apologies, internet provider seems to want to reset at this time every Thursday
    Wol Euler: boo

Bleu Oleander: I feels words fail when traveling in great space
Bruce Mowbray listens to Bleu - intently.
Bleu Oleander: words are a freezing
Bleu Oleander: a freezing of necessity
Eden Haiku: Hard to fit multilevel experiences in words :)
Aphrodite Macbain: painting works better :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: mhm!
Bleu Oleander: painting is a freezing too
    Eden Haiku: Less so isn't?
    Bleu Oleander: not for me
    Aphrodite Macbain: music?
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Bleu.... wordlessness, yes (and thanks Bruce for filling me on what was missed)
    Bleu Oleander: music too
    Bruce Mowbray: yw.
Bleu Oleander: freezing can be beautiful :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Is it a feeling of awe?
Aphrodite Macbain puts on a sweater
    Eden Haiku: Palaces of space?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: beauty in detail, like a polished jewel, or well practiced manners perhaps
    Aphrodite Macbain: Xanadu
Bruce Mowbray loves palaces of space.... and all empty!
Bleu Oleander: space is not empty hehe
    Eliza Madrigal giggles

    --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: Physical space is NOT empty, you're right.
Bleu Oleander: hang around scientists a lot lol
Bruce Mowbray: How about TSK space, though?
    Eden Haiku: Spaces of empathy

    About next week...

Eliza Madrigal: I should say something about the next section and next week...before we go...
Bruce Mowbray: kk, please do, Eliza.
    stevenaia Michinaga: listens
Eliza Madrigal: or at least officially close and stay around
    Wol Euler listens.
    Eden Haiku: Yes Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Some have moved into exercises 7 and 8, and some of us have gone backwards, after moving forward a bit too.
Eliza Madrigal: 7 and 8 reach more into the psychological experience of being... personhood...
Eliza Madrigal: and that of being in/as a 'world'
    Eliza Madrigal: or worlds
Eliza Madrigal: I describe them as more 'on the go'
Eliza Madrigal: because we include more, potentially

Eliza Madrigal: It is OK to keep going beyond 7 and 8
    Aphrodite Macbain: OK?
Eliza Madrigal: we have another few weeks to get to the end of the chapter
Eliza Madrigal: so let's make that the boundary

Eliza Madrigal: please comment on the wiki if words don't come easily in sessions
Eliza Madrigal: or if you want to capture your moment

Eliza Madrigal: Eden made a guardian page...
Eliza Madrigal: and I like that idea a lot, so copied her
Eliza Madrigal: for anyone who doesn't know, there is a section like that on the wiki, for personal reflections etc.
Eliza Madrigal: I'll add the links to the log

    Aphrodite Macbain: thanks
    Eliza Madrigal: Questions?
Eden Haiku: copycat copycat!! (I love this word!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: ^.^ ^.^
Eliza Madrigal: I call it active appreciation
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Wol Euler smiles.

Bruce Mowbray ponders a marginal note that I made in the TSK book this week (beside several others): "Drop whatever you are carrying to experience what (if anything) is carrying everything." ---- i.e., shift the "focal setting" of your experience. Maybe I should have put that in the 'personal reflections' - ....
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eden Haiku: yes darling Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, nice Bruce. ie "what contains what"
Bruce Mowbray nods, yes.... what (if anything) is carrying what.
    Bruce Mowbray: I'm guessing "space."
Bruce Mowbray: empty space, that is.
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: is it carrying or allowing?
    Bruce Mowbray: ahhhh, wonderful, Aph!
Eliza Madrigal: :) space projecting space into space, maybe
    Bruce Mowbray: Beautiful insight.

    Clarifying the Homework

Wol Euler: sorry, but I'm feeling frustrated and dumb tonight. May I ask for a little more explicitness on what we'll be talking about next week?
    Aphrodite Macbain: blushes
Eden Haiku: pouring space into space...
Agatha Macbeth tunes in Wol's antennae
Eliza Madrigal: In the first chapter, there is the question floating of could there be objects without space, or space without objects - we're asked to play with the views

Eliza Madrigal: Okay Wol, sure. Exercises 7 and 8 mainly
    Wol Euler: thank you
Eliza Madrigal: but not limited to the whole of chapter 2
Bruce Mowbray loves "pouring space into space" and appreciates Eliza's explanation.
    Bruce Mowbray: ty, Eliza.
Eliza Madrigal: I mean: but not limited, the whole of chapter two
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Aphrodite Macbain approciates Bruce's appreciation
    Bruce Mowbray: !!
Bruce Mowbray ponders pouring appreciation into appreciation.
    Eden Haiku: onigokko
Eliza Madrigal: And actually, if someone starts now , chapter one comments or reports are welcome too
    Aphrodite Macbain: indeed.
    Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Eliza Madrigal: ah gee, changed my clothes again!
    Bleu Oleander: perturbing space :)

Aphrodite Macbain: Happy Valentines day everyone!
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Wol Euler: Vi, this is something of a ritual here :)
    Bruce Mowbray: THAT is ELEPHANTASTIC!
    Bruce Mowbray: _____
    Bruce Mowbray: / 0 \____
    Bruce Mowbray: / _ \__/ \
    Bruce Mowbray: / / \ ____ I \
    Bruce Mowbray: /_/ I I I I
    Bruce Mowbray: I__I I__I
    Bruce Mowbray:
    Eliza Madrigal: ♥ ♥ ♥
    Ataraxia Azemus: :)
    Ataraxia Azemus: I remember it!
Bleu Oleander: creating gravity waves hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: stop
    Agatha Macbeth: Mine fell off
    Eliza Madrigal: onigokko
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Ataraxia Azemus: I've got one somewhere
    Aphrodite Macbain: <3 <3 <3
    Eliza Madrigal: stop
Agatha Macbeth: Ah there it is
Catrinamonblue Resident: Slips away... supper to cook and French homework to complete before tonights class
    Bleu Oleander: oni-free space
    Aphrodite Macbain: bye
    Wol Euler: bonsoir, cat!
Eliza Madrigal: have a lovely evening Cat, and everyone
    Agatha Macbeth: Tres bien cherie
    Catrinamonblue Resident: bye all :)
Eden Haiku: Bye Cat :) Jump in TSK!
Wol Euler: goodnight all, take care
Ataraxia Azemus: I need to head out, too... It's been nice to be here. Be well, all :)
    Wol Euler: happy spacing
    Eliza Madrigal: Night Wol
stevenaia Michinaga: nice meeting you V
    Eliza Madrigal: rest well
    Agatha Macbeth: Jumpin' TSK Batman
Eden Haiku: By Wol and Violet.
Bleu Oleander: ty Eliza, nice session
    Agatha Macbeth: Sleep well Wollie
Eliza Madrigal: thanks quiet Bleu :) <3
    Eden Haiku: Thank you Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: I'm going to stay here and slow down my fingers.... type so fast this hour!
Agatha Macbeth waits for the dust to settle
Bleu Oleander: quiet Bleu ... never said about me lol
Eliza Madrigal: thank you Eden.... am still feeling your report
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: conspicuously quiet
Eden Haiku: I will post the longer version on my page :)
    Bleu Oleander: really?
Eliza Madrigal: mhm, thought a few times during session... Bleu is quiet
    Bleu Oleander: just spacey
Eden Haiku: But the short one is maybe better...not sure.
Eden Haiku: I love details so much and it was in the instructions so...
Eliza Madrigal: :) I love reading on the wiki, taking time
Eliza Madrigal: so much comes up doing the exercises and then we get to session and I just pick one thing

Eden Haiku: Bleu, maybe you could also report with drawings?
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay Bleu art
Bleu Oleander: I will think about that
Eden Haiku: I realized something, going into details with many examples
Bleu Oleander: but does require a freezing of sorts
Eden Haiku: I can almost never locate the sensation in my body.
Bleu Oleander: I find the words of TSK to be frozen as well
Bleu Oleander: but perhaps a necessary evil
Eden Haiku: Just once, holding my 5 year little neigbor's frozen hand
    Eliza Madrigal listening
Eden Haiku: Will write it on the wiki Eliza

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: okay...
Bleu Oleander: enjoy reading your posts!
Eliza Madrigal: in the beginning of sessions I likened the exercises to yoga
    Eden Haiku: Thanks
    Eden Haiku: yoga?
Eliza Madrigal: they don't really have flexibility until we bring ourselves to them...
    Bleu Oleander: in what sense?
    Bleu Oleander: ah ok, yes
Eliza Madrigal: there is this outline, like yoga has these formulas
    Eden Haiku: Ah, yes, true...
Bleu Oleander: not a fixed outcome or result
Eliza Madrigal: but it becomes very physical and spiritual at the same time
Eliza Madrigal: (the word spiritual is a necessary evil)
    Eliza Madrigal: (for me)
    Bleu Oleander: indeed
    Bleu Oleander: tricky
    Eliza Madrigal: very
    Bleu Oleander: fuzzy, even
Eden Haiku: I was so disappointed today to learn my one week silent retreat in April was being cancelled
Eliza Madrigal: I don't pay enough attention to my body in my regular life... am going too fast, until I have pain
    Agatha Macbeth: Fuzzy logic
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh no :(
Eliza Madrigal: Is there another you might partake in?
Eden Haiku: I thought TSK exercises were an excellent preparation for this week...
Agatha Macbeth: I can't imagine you keeping quiet for a week Edie
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eden Haiku: The woman who gives it lives in Germany so not soon...
Eden Haiku: Digital detox was the more difficult to envision...
    Agatha Macbeth: Erk
Eliza Madrigal: would love to try
Agatha Macbeth: You couldn't cope without FB Liz

Eden Haiku: But I ordered my CarBoard and I'm going to dive into virtual reality!
Eliza Madrigal: I think even on "silent day" with retreats, I read
Eliza Madrigal smiles at Aggers.... usually take February off, but I'm keeping an eye on a friend
    Agatha Macbeth: Natch :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I read that session Eden!
Eliza Madrigal: I looked up the cardboard... inexpensive...
Eden Haiku: Supposed to get the device on Monday!
Bleu Oleander: will be interested to hear about it!
Eliza Madrigal: there is artwork on "open culture" site... links to explore with virtual reality devices
Eden Haiku: I thought it was a motherboard. ITs more like those viewmasters of my childhood:)
    Agatha Macbeth: I remember those
Eliza Madrigal: :) have an antique viewmaster that has the two separate cards and simple drawings that you slide back and forth ^.^
    Agatha Macbeth: Wow
    Bleu Oleander: remember those :)
Eden Haiku: Will have to find time to link and unlink textures in the new yurt you created Bleu :)

Agatha Macbeth: Where is this yurt then?
Eliza Madrigal: you guys are creative lately :)
    Bleu Oleander: its all modifiable
Eliza Madrigal: want to walk there?
Eden Haiku: Still remembers Banff's Lake Louise with crab apple trees blossoms on Viewmaster
Agatha Macbeth: Parking space for the yaks I hope?
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh!
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Bleu Oleander: did you rez it?
Eden Haiku: oh yes, please come visit.
Eliza Madrigal: oh, sorry, did I invite us?
Eliza Madrigal: and here I was talking about manners..sheesh
Eden Haiku: I did Bleu but put back theb standard one
    Agatha Macbeth: Haha
    Bleu Oleander: all invited?
    Bleu Oleander: lol
    Eden Haiku: Sure!
