stevenaia Michinaga: I was there both as my alt and my current self, which was even starnger

Aphrodite Macbain: akido is a non aggressive form of martial art
Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: defensive

Aphrodite Macbain: u use the other's chi to unbalance him

Aphrodite Macbain: move out of the way and the aggressor falls
Aphrodite Macbain: we were shown how to centre oneself from ones stomach
Aphrodite Macbain: rather than out head
stevenaia Michinaga: Tai Chi is similar, although there are alot of breaking bones in the process
Aphrodite Macbain: connect that centre with the centre of the universe
Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: but the Tai Chi taught here is non aggressive
Aphrodite Macbain: very slow and gentle
Aphrodite Macbain: and beautiful
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, it can be non aggrressive and beautiful, yet, each move is quite..... potentially distructive when used on an attacker
