The Guardian for this meeting was Wol.

    Wol Euler: buongiorno, qt
    Qt Core: buongiorn Wol
    Wol Euler: how's life?
Qt Core: being the first day of summer leave... busy obviously ;-)
    Qt Core: your ?
    Wol Euler: hehehehhe
Wol Euler: busy too, first day of an incredibly intense 3-week period on the building site
Wol Euler: after that, three weeks mostly off-duty :)
Qt Core: ok, it seem an honest agreement
    Wol Euler smiles.

Qt Core: one could even call it "smart vacation" as in doing it not in peak season, both for the hotel prices and for the traffic
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: the idea is that not too many should be smart or you just shift peak season ;-)
Wol Euler: Boss and kids are of course tied to the school holiday dates
Wol Euler: but it works out well
Wol Euler: I'm sure the airlines and travel agents etc keep a very close statistical eye on the dates that people book
    Agatha Macbeth: Guten morgen
    Wol Euler: buongiorno
Qt Core: Hi emerald clad Agatha
    Wol Euler: emerald or teal?
    Agatha Macbeth: Eh?
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
    Agatha Macbeth: Turquoise I think
Qt Core: never ask a man about such subtle color differences
Agatha Macbeth: It is pretty tho
    Wol Euler: agreed
    Wol Euler: on both points
Agatha Macbeth: I always think of it as Miami Dolphin blue
    Agatha Macbeth: (Or green)

Qt Core: a few months ago i discussed for almost an hour with a female colleague about the color of my pants, ended up installing an app that take a pic and tell me the color name
Agatha Macbeth: So glad I'm not colour blind
    Agatha Macbeth: 0.0
Agatha Macbeth: To me they are pink
    Qt Core: (as in trousers)
    Agatha Macbeth: Or salmon
Wol Euler: as an architect I frequently have discussions about the colour of a particular shade of black (or white)
    Wol Euler: white != white
Qt Core: i think about them as faded red (the funny thing is that it was about the shade of my RL red trousers)
Wol Euler: you can prove this for yourself easily by taking any two books and opening them one at a time, looking at the colour of the paper, then comparing both "white" pages
Wol Euler: I'd call that sugarcandy pink, yes
Wol Euler: though the patches suggest faded red

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: The eye of the beholder
Wol Euler: or of the newt.
    Agatha Macbeth: Absolutely
Agatha Macbeth: At least we don't have Aph's gulls here
Wol Euler: yeah, that was annoying
    Wol Euler: poor Aph
Agatha Macbeth: It was funny tho
    Qt Core: ?
    Agatha Macbeth: At the retreat
Agatha Macbeth: We wanted bird sounds so she rezzed a seagull noise then couldn't turn it off
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: not even the nicest of the bird calls...
Agatha Macbeth: Remined me of Weston
Wol Euler: at least her gulls didn't shit on us
    Agatha Macbeth: Only metaphorically
Wol Euler: as happened to several people in my family at various times and places
Qt Core: i wonder if there are SL brds that shit on people
    Agatha Macbeth: Probably
Wol Euler: probably, Rule 37 applies
Qt Core: yes, weird enough to to have to be done
    Agatha Macbeth: Or rule 98

    Wol Euler: https://xkcd.com/305/
    Qt Core: (i love xkcd)
Wol Euler: how peculiar that after so many years "wetriffs.com" doesn't actually exist. The Internets have failed us.
Qt Core: (and its what if even more
Agatha Macbeth: https://xkcd.com/688/ seems to pertain to what we were just discussing
    Wol Euler: indeed
Qt Core: to that man deserve a nobel or a psychiatric examination ?
Wol Euler: That parrot must be a Lithuanian Red, even rarer than the Norwegian Blue.
Agatha Macbeth: But it's not an ex parrot yet
Agatha Macbeth: It hasn't cease to be

    --BELL--

Qt Core: while i was mulling about how tired i was from bicycle ride of this morning (something less than an hour) i found my sister watching the swimming world championship, to be specific the 25 Km of swimming in a lake... and they were already over 3 hours... and felt even lazier than usual
Agatha Macbeth: That's a long swim
    Wol Euler: wow
Qt Core: they interviewed the italy team doc that explained that as the race start at 9am they wake ap at 5am to have breakfast
Wol Euler: then there was the woman who swam from Cuba to Florida.
Wol Euler: the appropriately named Diana Nyad
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe she couldn't afford a boat
Qt Core: then they keep drinking a supersweet and energetik beverage before and during the race
    Wol Euler: https://xkcd.com/305/
    Wol Euler: oops
    Agatha Macbeth: 7sm
    Wol Euler: http://edition.cnn.com/2013/09/02/wo...-florida-swim/
    Wol Euler: there
Agatha Macbeth: I hear Mexicans are good swimmers
Wol Euler: nah, the Rio Grande is broad but very shallow
    Agatha Macbeth: Yee haw
Wol Euler: punchline: she was 64 years old when she did it.
    Agatha Macbeth: People are crazy
Qt Core: and the question is why ? and the answer is why not ?
    Wol Euler: "because it's there"
Wol Euler: or for creative people "because it isn't there yet"

Qt Core: i need to go , as i said first day of summer leave so much busier than a workday
Wol Euler: bye Qt, take care
    Agatha Macbeth: Ciao Qt
    Qt Core: Bye Wol, Agatha
    Agatha Macbeth: Family OK?
    Wol Euler: yes, thanks
Wol Euler: no news is good news, as they say
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay
    Wol Euler: and you?
    --BELL--
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh I'm wonderful
Wol Euler: well, yes, of course; but are you well?
    Agatha Macbeth: That too
Agatha Macbeth: Hope you have been resting well
Wol Euler: actually no, I haven't been either sleeping or napping enough for the last few weeks
Agatha Macbeth: Well start today then
Agatha Macbeth: Give WoW a rest
Wol Euler: I will actually, working until time for Fracture, then the last day of the Retreat, then bed
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
Agatha Macbeth: Any news of Corvi lately?
    Wol Euler: not in ages
    Agatha Macbeth: Or Eidolon?
    Wol Euler: ditto
    Agatha Macbeth sighs
Wol Euler: though I did see her on a few days back
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe doing something at Vox
    Wol Euler: perhaps
Wol Euler: I keep meaning to go and have a look, and forgettig
Agatha Macbeth: She had moved things around as I recall
Agatha Macbeth: Changed the decor a bit
    Wol Euler watches and chuckles
    Agatha Macbeth: Arrrrr
Agatha Macbeth: Shiver me timbers and blast me barnacles
Wol Euler: well, I'm working today, so I will have to head off at the bell
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh moi aussi
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder how Quilty is these days
Wol Euler: he's fine, I see him on FB, involved with his kids and his bicycle
Wol Euler: haven't seen him here in many years
    Agatha Macbeth: Hehe

    --BELL--

Wol Euler: bye for now, dear Aggers
    Wol Euler: enjoy the weekend
    Agatha Macbeth: You too Wollage
    Agatha Macbeth: Rest well
    Wol Euler: 3
    Wol Euler: <3 even
    Agatha Macbeth: ♥
