    Floating as Being.jpg

Bleu surprised us with yet a new feature in her transparent pavilion: a few pose balls enabling us to float! We enjoyed it and had a fun floating session, some of us floating on and off: maybe that's what confused the PaB listener.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take the link to the log before leaving and somehow didn't receive it by email. So I logged back in and luckily, the last few lines of conversation were still there as well as the link to the log. Something weird happened though as it seems most of Bleu's lines were swallowed in the process. I tried to reconstitute some of them from memory, but still wonder what happened...

More and more reasons to like this space each time

    Bleu Oleander: morning Eden :)
Eden Haiku: Morning Bleu. How are you?
    Bleu Oleander: I'm fine, you?
    Eden Haiku: Good goog:)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eden Haiku: Good good I meant :)
Bleu Oleander: was going to ask what a goog was lol
    Bleu Oleander: hi Eliza :)
    Eden Haiku: Hi Eliza :)
Eden Haiku: Wow, you are floating Bleu :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Eden, and Hi Bleu ... don't see you yet
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Bleu Oleander: put two floaties in the pool hehe
Eden Haiku: Bleu is IN the pool!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Bleu Oleander: there is one by the lotus too
Bleu Oleander: click on it and "float"
    Bleu Oleander: not the lotus
    Eliza Madrigal: how wonderful
Bleu Oleander: the float pose ball
    Bleu Oleander: hehe
Eden Haiku: AhaaaaH! Feels great Bleu :)
Bleu Oleander: I can add another if you want to float too Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: more and more reasons to like this space each time
Eliza Madrigal: that's okay, happy here
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks
Eden Haiku: We can take turns Eliza :)
    Bleu Oleander: added another lol
Eliza Madrigal: hah well I've been moving furniture so it is relaxing to just be like this
Eden Haiku: This gives a definitive relaxed touch to a session :)
Eliza Madrigal: but Riddle is coming...
Bleu Oleander: might be popular lol
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    Twilight pool, eating up lines?

Bleu was there, floating quietly, participating into the conversation but, somehow, her lines seem to have vanished into thin air...

Eden Haiku: Moving furniture around so George won't chew it all Eliza?
Bleu Oleander: how is George doing in class?
Eliza Madrigal: my younger daughter might move back in, so it means arranging the whole apartment again :)
Eden Haiku: This is shifting into a Beach Club!
    Eliza Madrigal: doing well
Eliza Madrigal: but the class won't get to what I really need unless I take like three more... getting to inside/outside voice
Eliza Madrigal: don't think I can do that so I have to learn on my own
Eliza Madrigal: three more sessions I mean
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Riddle :)) Pose ball avail for you to float
    Eden Haiku: Hello Riddle :)
Eliza Madrigal: it is. he's learned most of what we need...
    Riddle Sideways: Hi All
    Riddle Sideways: ty
Eliza Madrigal: just the barking to manage :)
Eliza Madrigal: which is all related... speech then regulating speech
Eliza Madrigal: I can't even do that myself yet!
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Eden Haiku: :)

The log missed some lines here it seems.)Bleu was talking about her dog having "old age barking"

    Eliza Madrigal: what is that?
    Eden Haiku: snap
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I see...different pattern to it then
    Eliza Madrigal: hope not pain
Eden Haiku: My cat was very vocal in her last months too. Anxiety I think...
Eliza Madrigal: any changes of environment to cause anxiety?
Eden Haiku: Your turn floating Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: well if you insist.... heheh
Eliza Madrigal looks for magic key
Eden Haiku: Drying my hair in the Second Life sun :) LOvely! I feel so refreshed.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Eden Haiku: Eliza, there is a float white ball you can click on...
    Eliza Madrigal: looking...
Eliza Madrigal: maybe it is my lighting
Eden Haiku: In front of you to the right
    Eliza Madrigal changes
Riddle Sideways: no magic key, just a silver ball
Eden Haiku: to your left rather... sorry
    Eliza Madrigal: stage left?
    Eden Haiku: LOvely outfit Eliza!
    Eliza Madrigal steals bleu's
    Eden Haiku: Good idea!
Eliza Madrigal: thanks Eden :) Bleu's shirt... then sari pants
Eliza Madrigal: but you look the most summery and sparkly
    Eliza Madrigal floats quietly
    Eden Haiku: :)
    Eden Haiku: Floating as Being
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Did you just add these Bleu?
Riddle Sideways: floating and talking usually don't go together

Our floating around seemed to have nixed up the PaB listener. Some lines I remember said by Bleu are attributed to Eliza...I'm not sure which is which...

    Y---E---S

Eden Haiku: Immersing yourself in the watery element of silence Riddle?
    Riddle Sideways: y
Eden Haiku: Yesterday, there was a racoon sleeping in a hollow of the bridge. So cuuute!!
    Riddle Sideways: e
    Riddle Sideways: s
Eliza Madrigal: how are the deer, Eden?
Eden Haiku: it's peaceful to see Eliza and Riddle so relaxed...
Eliza Madrigal: oh, see line about raccoon ^.^ Doesn't sound menacing
Eden Haiku: No deer yesterday. A day without deer is like a day without sun :)
Eden Haiku: We are getting addicted :)
Eliza Madrigal has not had sun in years then...
    Eliza Madrigal: that's very sweet
Eden Haiku: We are ... but they will be back,
Eliza Madrigal: waiting for the children
Riddle Sideways: over the last months have been watching teh fawn grow and lose the spots
Eden Haiku: The racoon was not menacing no. Far under the bridge. Someone in a passing canoe pointed the animal to us. We were walking on the small bridge.
Riddle Sideways: must be a teenager now because is annoyed that mom is still licking it
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: Oh my, that's wonderful Riddle. You have seen the same one for a long time?

A teenage fawn and fierce animals

Eden Haiku: An teenage fan :) [ Bleu had said: °A teenage fawn`, I was merely commenting on her snippet of wisdom and wordplay, where are her lines gone? ]

    Riddle Sideways: yes,
Eliza Madrigal: must live in a natury area
Riddle Sideways: draught has brought them closer
Eden Haiku: You don't have fawns roaming around Miami Eliza?
    Eliza Madrigal: certainly not, haha
    Eden Haiku: Dolphins?
Eliza Madrigal: on the west coast more so, but sometimes dolphins
    Riddle Sideways: or turkeys ?
    Eden Haiku: Around Thanksgiving?
Eliza Madrigal: not too many turkeys either
    Eliza Madrigal laughs

Bleu had said something about having bears and mountain lions near Phoenix (I do think that turkeys are fierce animals :)

    Eden Haiku: Fierce animals!
Eliza Madrigal: although, once my daughter rustled up all the loose turkeys from her agriscience/vet classes , in front of half the football team that just stared at her
Eliza Madrigal: they were terrified, laughs
Eliza Madrigal: terrible to think of drought effects
Eden Haiku: The draught is upsetting the animals as well as the humans.
Eden Haiku: Your daughter seems funny and resilient Eliza! Is she the one coming back home?
Riddle Sideways: rustled up all the loose turkeys ni Miami?
Eliza Madrigal: no, that's the one about to graduate.... younger is coming home (I hope)
Eliza Madrigal: she's like that... when she was little she made business cards that she would catch lizards for neighbors. Surprising number of people frightened of lizards

Bleu said something about how Eliza's daughter could have made a  fortune with all the lizards around Arizona  ( she said around "here")

Eden Haiku: Already graduating! Time goes by so fast doesn't it?
    Eliza Madrigal nods thoughtfully
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Eden Haiku: I remember when we first met here your boy was still a little boy...
    Eliza Madrigal weeps, yes
Eden Haiku: Is your son still working in Africa Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: not right now, is in grad school at Naropa in Boulder
    Eliza Madrigal: oh wow
Eden Haiku: No typing animation when floating in the pool hehe
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Eden Haiku: Naropa!
Eden Haiku: I wanted to study there when I was younger. But never did :(
    Riddle Sideways: really cool school
Eliza Madrigal: would have liked that too
Eden Haiku: One of many broken dreams :-))
    Eden Haiku: Computerized buddhism maybe?

    --BELL--

    Soul engineering

    Eden Haiku: Soul engineering?
Riddle Sideways: something named transpersonal phych
    Eliza Madrigal: hm
    Eden Haiku: Pretty close :)
    Eliza Madrigal: true!
Eliza Madrigal: that's really wonderful Riddle
Riddle Sideways: ok, will spend the rest of today checking on schools for Soul Engineering
    Riddle Sideways: http://soulengineering.com/
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Eden Haiku: Any of you familiar with Michael Harner's Foundation for shamanic studies?
    Eliza Madrigal: ! Riddle
    Eliza Madrigal: say more, Eden?
Eden Haiku: An anthropologist from California (he was Castaneda's teacher.

Eden Haiku : yes, core shamanism (I'm agreeing with Bleu here)
    Eliza Madrigal: ty
Eden Haiku: Tks Bleu. That's it.

The link Bleu posted is also absent from the log. I think it washttps://www.shamanism.org/

    Riddle Sideways: oh that goes back many years :}
Eden Haiku: He mapped shamanic journeying for Wetesrners. Fascinating.
Eden Haiku: Did you ever studied at the Foundation?
Riddle Sideways: no, just read about
Eden Haiku: I took a few workshops with them in Montreal and here, in Val David. In French.
Eden Haiku: Its, a kind of soul engineering :)

Bleu asked me to describe what a shamanic journey is.

    Eliza Madrigal listens
Eden Haiku: Oh! yes Bleu. You use some kind of sonic driving (like a drum) and you travel with a power animal into the Nether World or into the Upper World or into the Middle World. You travel to non ordinariy reality...It's like a dream trance.
    Eliza Madrigal: with others?
Eden Haiku: You learn to do it in groups but it's a solitary journey.
Eliza Madrigal: oh, interesting. I guess I'm only familiar with the latter.
Eden Haiku: The woman I have been working with is part Native and she is so not ceremonious. And very funny!
Eden Haiku: No idea why I'm whispering. I do not see the command :)
Eliza Madrigal: I love being around people who have been in something long enough for its 'extra specialness' to have worn off a bit and it is just part of things for them
Eden Haiku: Yes, I know what you mean Eliza, it's very comforting.
Eliza Madrigal: but I also love to be around people for whom everything is extra special :)

Bleu had said sonething like "indeed"

    Eden Haiku: ;)
Eliza Madrigal: is she grounding, Eden?
Eden Haiku: She is! And grounded, very.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: oh, seeing Bleu's question... sorry
Eliza Madrigal goes back to quiet floating ^.^

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Ah... yes... Forgot the question too.

Bleu posted her question again: something about what is the benefit I find in these experiences .

Eden Haiku: Humm, workshops helped me step away from this other group I was much involved into... So it helped me free myself from external influences.
Riddle Sideways: sorry, was floating in past memories
    Eliza Madrigal: nice (both) :)
Eden Haiku: Tell us more Riddle? I love hippie stories :)
    Riddle Sideways: :))
Eden Haiku: Please, where is the whisper command so I can stop whispering into your ears? [Apparently the log didn't register all m'y whispering, what's going with with you PaB listener?]

Eliza Madrigal: there is a "say" next to the chat

Bleu  said : ¨shift + return¨ and it seemed to work for a while. I couldn't see the usual "shout/say/whisper. I hate updates!)

    Eden Haiku: mmm
    Eden Haiku: mmm
Eden Haiku: Ok, it worked! Phew...
Eden Haiku: Thank you and sorry bell :)

    Eliza Madrigal awaits hippie stories...
    Eden Haiku: Flying fishes!!!!

Flying objects, apparently from the pool. But someone said "birds". I guess it was Bleu, though at the moment, I thought it was Eliza...

Riddle Sideways: ha, way back it was all the fashion to get into hippy things
Riddle Sideways: shamanism was right up there
    Eden Haiku: listens
Riddle Sideways: however, many of those alter places, things, and experiences
Riddle Sideways: took finding the correct group, teacher, etc.
    Riddle Sideways: and money
    Riddle Sideways: and time
Riddle Sideways: and staying in the same location for some time
Riddle Sideways: a penniless traveler could not really join groups
Riddle Sideways: teachers often wanted ...
Riddle Sideways: well money or slaves
Riddle Sideways: (sorry to be harsh)

Haiku: Yes, this is still very true Riddle :(

Eliza Madrigal: not at all, needs to be considered ( I thought Bleu had said that...)
Eliza Madrigal: yes[ Here we have an interesting case of Eliza agreeing with herself... this is so confusing! ]

Riddle Sideways: so would collect what was quickly available and internalize
    Riddle Sideways: and became self-taught
    Riddle Sideways: more like self-untaught
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Riddle Sideways: maybe self-deluded :}
Eden Haiku: I like that "self-untaught"!
Riddle Sideways: have played with binaural beats now
Eliza Madrigal: all paths are self made - even if one tries with all their might to follow another's teaching they can't
Riddle Sideways: and think that is like the driving drums
Eden Haiku: oh yes, I like binaural beats, that's great!

Bleu asked a really good question. Can't remember her exact wording but it was sonething like:"What are we looking for? "

    Eden Haiku: Good question :)
    Eden Haiku: Inner peace?
Riddle Sideways: all four of us need to answer that
Eliza Madrigal: inner peace with 'others' is the hardest question
Eden Haiku: Just staying in a quiet room...
Eden Haiku: Forgot the quote but you all know it:) We are kind of experts :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Kafka?
    Eden Haiku: Still whispering...
    Eden Haiku: humm
    Riddle Sideways: whispering is nice
Eden Haiku: Ok shift return does correct it
    Eden Haiku: Humm

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: when in that quiet room, the whispered is most often the closest to a truth

Someone suggested we could float during the 90 sec pauses. I thought it was Eliza. Maybe it was Bleu...
    Eden Haiku: :)

    Eden Haiku: Floating pauses...
Eden Haiku: maybe this is the answer to Bleu's question
Eden Haiku: We want to float
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: To be back into the ocean of Being
    Eliza Madrigal: mmmm
Eden Haiku: Well we are :)
Eliza Madrigal: thanks for this session. :) Daughter is calling and I must go. Meant to mention am reading the book you mentioned last time, so tyvm, enjoying it a lot. bfn friends
    Riddle Sideways: by
Eden Haiku: Bye Eliza! Thank you all for being here this morning. Will try to TP floating out of SL :)

    Bleu asked "what book?'

Eden Haiku: Book was by Arnhild Langveld. (it's Lauveng, excuse my norwegian spelling...) Can't remember the title in English.

But Google our faithful friend, does remember:

good job Eden!! I do have the text on my computer, you might too, but I think you did a great job recapping the session for my part! nice photo too! fun floating with you all today :) hugs!
    Posted 21:37, 24 Aug 2015
Ah! Where is it on my computer Bleu? I looked for a PaB file but didn't find it.
    Posted 23:02, 24 Aug 2015
Oh Eden, I love you. This was so cute to read, you filling in Bleu, and Eliza agreeing with herself, although I do miss Bleu's voice very much when reading. I checked the listener database and it is the same, no Bleu lines. :( edited 00:46, 25 Aug 2015

easiest way to see where your files are is to check your sl preferences in world and see where the logs are stored ... not sure where that is ... might be in the advanced tab. usually, its something like: users/your name/library/application support/second life/chat/ then under your avatar's name ... but that varies so easiest to check your inworld prefs I think ... anyway, you did a great job Eden!
