Eden Haiku: It's a rainy day and I finally downloaded the updated Sl viewer :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: rainy day in canada or are you anywhere in the world ?
Eden Haiku: Up the hills, one hour from Montreal.
Eden Haiku: We see a lot of deer this summer, it's great!
Yakuzza Lethecus: in sweden it´s also popular to have summerhouses
Yakuzza Lethecus: but we don´t have one :)
Eden Haiku: We don,t either. We rent the same one every summer, for 12 years now :)

Eden Haiku: It's a different life for 3 months, differrent friends, different habits.
Yakuzza Lethecus: that´s great, we just had 2 weeks of vacation
Yakuzza Lethecus: but it´s quiet a change this year since we also moved to a new flat
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, I read about that in the log :) A bigger place. The toddler is growing uo. How old is he now?
Yakuzza Lethecus: 21 month
Eden Haiku: Sweet age. Is he already in the NO phase?
Yakuzza Lethecus: oh yes :)
Eden Haiku: They learn that fast hehe
Yakuzza Lethecus: he´s not talking that much yet
Yakuzza Lethecus: well at least not much understandable
Eden Haiku: We had visitors yestardeay with a 8 monts old boy. He already make the head gesture for NO, but he doesn',t know yet what it means

Eden Haiku: I was going to say how much I love having to step back from the flow of conversation for the 90-second pause. But I forgot as soon as I saw Qt's greetings. The bell did shhh me :)
Qt Core: ;-) being it randomized one dn't know if it is running when just materialized here
Eden Haiku: Yes, sure, no problem Qt.. I just meant to say that my stepping back was not quite as efficient as I thought it was. I'm all excited being here!

Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s amazing to be connected like this even on remote locations
Eden Haiku: Yes, it is!
Eden Haiku: Where didi you go for vacation Yaku?
Yakuzza Lethecus: ah, just germany, nothing special
Eden Haiku: I remember delightful pictures from your little village in Germany:)
Eden Haiku: Do you still take pictures ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, sure
Yakuzza Lethecus: but mostly of my son :P

Eden Haiku: Oh great! And how are you doing Qt?
Eden Haiku: It,s been very hot lately in Italy I think ?
Qt Core: quite good, i usually don't go away (don't like it) and since a couple year i visit Milan "like a tourist" and this year we have Expo too
Qt Core: yes, but since the start of August is cooling off a little and this weelend we should have the thunderstoms that would "break" summer

Eden Haiku: Oh nice, I remember reading about that in a recent log, the Milan Expo.
Qt Core: just a dozen km from my home a little taste of more than an hundred foreign countries, almost like take away tourism
Eden Haiku: How nice! We had one in Montreal when I was a teenager. I enjoyed it immensely!
Qt Core: i fear i would like it so much i'll start going around the world to see the next ones (next one Dubai 2020)
Eden Haiku: Maybe it planted a seed in me about being in touch with other cultures as we are here in PaB,
Eden Haiku: I'd love to see Dubai too:)
Qt Core: and that is only the next universal expo, i discovered there are many smaller ones more often, like one in Kazakhstan in 2017 about flowers

Eden Haiku: One of my Twitter contacts lives in Abu Dhabi and she posts amazing pictures of the place. Mainly buildings, glass and steel, but always interesting to see the light playing on the mirrored surfaces.

Qt Core: i found some humor in the fact that Dubai says it will be the Expo with the bigger number of foreign visitors... how many inhabitants has Dubai (a little above 2 million)
Qt Core: no, even if i have many in my inventory

Qt Core: i have to leave early (i.e. now) for some driving duty i have

Eden Haiku: This time, I backed off (after talking on the bell), closed my eyes and listened to the birds, the fountain and the sound my companion is making chopping of vegetables in the kitchen where my computer is,
Eden Haiku: MY English is quite rusted I realize...
Yakuzza Lethecus: i didn´t notice, we´re both no natives
Eden Haiku: No, but you have a way better accent than I do, I remember in voice sessions...
Eden Haiku: You speak a very clear English from War of Warcraft :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: I never played that :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i didn´t even try
Yakuzza Lethecus: which was propably the best, since otherwise i mgiht
Yakuzza Lethecus: but i did play strategy games a few years back and that was the big improvement
Yakuzza Lethecus: but that was between 2007-2010
Eden Haiku: Oh sorry, I mixed up memories I guess. But you learnt thru online games didn't you?
Yakuzza Lethecus: well speaking improved because of that

Eden Haiku: You must have a good ear too.
Eden Haiku: To catch the right tonic accent...
Yakuzza Lethecus: sadly that only worked for english, i never found swedish speaking clans, swedes generally mingle in into the english communities
Eden Haiku: I don,t even prpunonce the h at the beiginning of words :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but i also don´t have the time i used to have
Eden Haiku: Oh, that,s sad! Your wife is swedish though?
Yakuzza Lethecus: sure

Yakuzza Lethecus: i do speak swedish now
