    Eden Haiku: No, really. Preparing for visitors later this week.
    Bleu Oleander: ah nice
    Eden Haiku: Deer are just part of our daily life now. We stop everything and follow them in the nearby woods;)

    Eden Haiku: I hjope they will come when my 4 year old great-niece and her 10 months old brother will be staying with us :)
    Bleu Oleander: we have coyotes near us, but we don't follow them :)
    Bleu Oleander: oh yes that would be fun for them
    Eden Haiku: I followed them with two litle girls (silent little girls) and with was so much fun. The magic!
    Bleu Oleander: lovely
    Eden Haiku: IT.s like stepping into another reality...
    Bleu Oleander: I can imagine
    Bleu Oleander: we have a salon the the literary genre of noir ... how do you understand that?
    Eden Haiku: Sorry for all the moving around. Trying to find the right posture. The 1st one was the best. Can't find it anymore ;)

    Eden Haiku: Ah, detective stories, dark fantastic stories maybe?
    Eden Haiku: Rather fantastic I would think

    Eden Haiku: From the Aeneid I remember Énée, Didon, Carthaghe,,,he left from Sicily to found Rome, maybe? that's from long time ago...When I was studying latin...

    Eden Haiku: That's terrible. The land cannot sustain such dryness for so long...

    Agatha Macbeth: Weird. All I think of with Canada is snow :p

    Eden Haiku: It can be very hot and humid in the summers.

    Bleu Oleander: animal habitats will be destroyed too
    Eden Haiku: It's 4000 thousands miles from where I live and I don't watch the news much...but I heard about it online :)

    Agatha Macbeth: I seem to remember Wol saying the west of Canda has a better climate than the east
    Bleu Oleander: I've not been to Canada
    Eden Haiku: Yes, milder in the West. No harsh winters,
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep, right
    Agatha Macbeth: Odd to think the UK is on a similar latitude
    Eden Haiku: You should come to Quebec Bleu. It's a French territory in North Amarica :)
    Bleu Oleander: I would love to do that sometime
    Bleu Oleander: is it far from NYC?
    Eden Haiku: Not far. One hour flight,, 7 hours drive.
    Eden Haiku: By train, it takes forever...
    Eden Haiku: Like 11 or 12 hours...
    Bleu Oleander: we might combine that with our NYC trips sometime

    Bleu Oleander: I love trains too, but not for 12 hours :)
    Eden Haiku: European trains are wonderful. Not over here. They are very slow... with no service at all...

    Eden Haiku: remmebers a wonderful night train from the Lake Districts in England back to London.

    Agatha Macbeth: Has a kind of purity about it, much like Scotland

    Agatha Macbeth: More in the Midlands
    Agatha Macbeth: Staffordshire
    Agatha Macbeth: But the north of Britain is a lovely place

    Eden Haiku: I know it gets dark early in fall over there...but in summer you have looong night right?
    Agatha Macbeth: Not as many as there used to be
    Eden Haiku: loong days I mean:0
    Agatha Macbeth: We have looong days and looong nights :p
    Eden Haiku: Wjhen I was living in ULverston, it wpuld start getting dark at 11 at night (in June)
    Agatha Macbeth: Days are looonger at this time of year
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes

    Agatha Macbeth: Further north you go the longer the days are
    Eden Haiku: Ah, because of the latitude yes..

    Eden Haiku: On this night train, I marveled at the sheep and the green fields but had to give up at 9h30 pm, too sleepy. It was like not even sunset yet...

    Agatha Macbeth: What's the latest it gets dark where you are Edie?
    Eden Haiku: Around 9 p,, 9h15pm around Summer solstice. Then, it's all the way down. About 8h15 now...
    Agatha Macbeth: Ohh
    Bleu Oleander: similar to where I am
    Bleu Oleander: 9pm about the latest
    Agatha Macbeth: Must be odd living on the equator...
    Agatha Macbeth: No seasons
    Agatha Macbeth: All days of equal length
    Bleu Oleander: we have two seasons ... hot and not so hot :)

    Eden Haiku: I rememebr visisting my grandma on June 21st when I was a teenager. She said: "fron now on, it's going they get darker sooner every day..." She was a pragmatic woman :)

    Bleu Oleander: flipped back and forth a number of times
    Bleu Oleander: I love the city
    Bleu Oleander: but do enjoy what we do here
    Bleu Oleander: and the arizona sunsets
    Eden Haiku: Ahhh!
    Bleu Oleander: the colors are wonderful here and the light

    Eden Haiku: Must be inspiring yes! And there are many artists in Phoenix I would think...
