    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: yes, it was a dry summer down here
Eos Amaterasu: Dryness is not a problem here....

Eos Amaterasu: Recovering from your fall?
Adams Rubble: yes, my hands are healing but I have vertigo
    Eos Amaterasu: yikes!
Adams Rubble: it is common from head accients
    Adams Rubble: accidents
Eos Amaterasu: not a sensation I like
Eos Amaterasu: (remember it from too much drinking :-)
Adams Rubble: apparently we have ear rocks in our inner ear and they can become dislodged
    Eos Amaterasu: ear rocks?
Adams Rubble: yes, sounds bizarre doesn't it
Adams Rubble: they can get into the innermost part and cause dizzyness
Eos Amaterasu: keep the semicircular thingies balanced?
Adams Rubble: apparently there is therapy and I am waiting for the doctor
Eos Amaterasu: I guess we're kinda like Segways
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble doesn't have all my marbles
Adams Rubble: or rocks in my head

Adams Rubble: how are you doing?
    Eos Amaterasu: Not bad.
Eos Amaterasu: Need to segue my life a bit
    Adams Rubble: I hear ya
Adams Rubble: there is a poem that refers to going in and out of clearings as we walk through the woods
Adams Rubble: sometimes we lose them
Eos Amaterasu: clearings can be magical

    --BELL--

Eos Amaterasu: What is the poem?
Adams Rubble: I was afraid you would ask that :)
Adams Rubble: I am reading too many right now
Adams Rubble: I need to go back and find out for myself
Adams Rubble: I guess it was the thing that struck me most today
Eos Amaterasu: Heidegger took off from Hölderlin's writings about clearings
Eos Amaterasu: "language is the clearing of Being"
Eos Amaterasu: a poem as a clearing, an opening to the nature of Being
Adams Rubble: does being need clearing?
    Adams Rubble: Being
Adams Rubble: I like the idea of a clearing being an opening to the nature of being
Eos Amaterasu: hmm, maybe manifestation is Being articulating itself
Eos Amaterasu: but then it gets lost in the folds
Adams Rubble: or the woods :)
Adams Rubble: in this metaphor anyway
Eos Amaterasu: the bud opening is bud ha!
Eos Amaterasu: walking in the woods, into a clearing, can be a great experience
    Adams Rubble nods
    Adams Rubble: a change
Adams Rubble: view of the sky
Eos Amaterasu: openness, presence, bees buzzing, wildflowers, grasses, sounds, stillness, sky, earth
Adams Rubble: warmth of the sun
Adams Rubble: yes, all those :)
    Eos Amaterasu: pause
    Eos Amaterasu: pregnant pause
    Eos Amaterasu: no delivery date
    Eos Amaterasu: just "bloom"
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble makes a note to go walk in the woods tomorrow
    Eos Amaterasu: a 3D experience
    Eos Amaterasu: immersive
Eos Amaterasu: life all around you
    Adams Rubble: refreshing

Eos Amaterasu: what form could a "portable clearing" take?
    Adams Rubble: a book?
Eos Amaterasu: could be - we started with a poem :-)
Adams Rubble: yes, and in the book, a poem
Eos Amaterasu: so we're back to language as the clearing of Being
    Adams Rubble: clearing TO Being?
    Eos Amaterasu: yes
Eos Amaterasu: maybe also FROM Being?
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Adams Rubble: clearing the muddle
    Eos Amaterasu: blossoming the bud
    Adams Rubble: clearing song
    Eos Amaterasu: ah ah ah

    --BELL--

Adams Rubble: I must get back to RL. It is always very good to see you :)
Eos Amaterasu: Many happy trails and clearings, Adams!
Adams Rubble: Have a very good night!
Adams Rubble: you too Eos :)
Eos Amaterasu: Ciao - good night!
    Adams Rubble: adios :)
