    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Kori :)
    Korel Laloix: Osiyo... brb
    Qt Core: Hi Korel, Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Qt :) Hi Wol :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Kori is away
    Wol Euler: evening all!
    Korel Laloix: Heya
Korel Laloix: In and out a bit.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Wol Euler: I'll grab a cup of tea before we begin
    Eliza Madrigal: ntsy'all

    --BELL--

    Wol Euler: likewise :)
Eliza Madrigal: Qt I thought of your alien dream a few days ago, when happening upon an article about the cold war...
Eliza Madrigal: and leaders agreeing to be on each others' side if aliens invade
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mick :)
    Mickorod Renard: Hiya
Qt Core: imagine a benevolent alien would have been impossible for them ;-)
Wol Euler: what a pity that we apparently can't manage to be on each other's side during normal life.
Eliza Madrigal: you are likely right, Qt
    Eliza Madrigal: alas, Wol.
    Eliza Madrigal: you said it
    Wol Euler nods.
Eliza Madrigal: or to stop thinking in terms of sides
Eliza Madrigal: at least a lot more
Korel Laloix: I don't think it would work that way.
Korel Laloix: Smart aliens would invade just one country and the rest of the world would sit back and watch.
Eliza Madrigal: Qt and I would be on the mountaintop yelling "pick me pick me" hahaha
    Wol Euler: heheheh
Qt Core: that depend on which resource that country has
Mickorod Renard: it was such a scenario that brought the cold war to an end
    Mickorod Renard: regan and gorgo

    bun bun_005.jpg

Korel Laloix: I still don't know what that term means... "cold war".
Wol Euler: war without shooting, basically
    Eliza Madrigal: stand off
Wol Euler: hostile in every other way to each other
Wol Euler: and getting other little countries to fight proxy wars on their behalves
Eliza Madrigal: underlying generalized stress then affects everything rather than acute "problems"
Eliza Madrigal: So please tell me someone has cheerful dreams! :)))
Mickorod Renard: but it did bring together two sides that would otherwise have carried on,,and the reason they say was to unite against a potencial alien threat
Wol Euler smiles at Eliza, and goes to get her tea
Eliza Madrigal: hm, I thought it was just a light conversation that perhaps stretched imaginations. If one can imagine a scenario in which grudges are droppable, maybe easier to drop
Mickorod Renard: 2 and a half sugars for me pls
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Wol Euler: righto
    Mickorod Renard: stirred not shaken
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
    Eliza Madrigal: dunked not dipped

    Mick's Dream

Dream of Swiss type cottage and erotic bar

I remember I was in this dark cold country like Norway or somewhere. I was an inhabitant of a small traditional wooden house that would best be described as a Swiss mountain cottage sort of building. It stood in a row of 3 or 4 that were detached from each other but only by about a metre or even 3 feet.

I may have been a rotund elderly lady dressed in traditional costume but not colourful rather drab. The interior of the house was quaint and had a wood fire and simple but authentic looking items that would be in keeping for such a house.

There was a noise at the door and a sound outside in the street. The lady..or myself was excited but in a strange way. Desperate and hopeful I would describe the feeling..there had been a spate of abductions of children and the lady ..at the sound of any noise..thought it was or may be a returning child. She/I went rushing to the door and opened it hopefully. After looking onto the road and seeing nothing She/I looked left and right. It was dark and visibility not good but then I saw a neighbour from next door..to my left.

The neighbour was having late drinks and on seeing me asked if I would go into their house and join them for a drink. I remember being reticent but then the dream sort of allowed itself to carry on.

On entering the next door neighbours the story took a change. Here I was an observer. The neighbours house had become a restaurant/bar/club and a plot was hatched. To try and catch the abductors a university lecturer had been employed. He was young to middle aged and reasonably attractive..I assume. He had in his company a student who was attractive Petit well formed but large breasts..who was the bait. No sooner had they entered the bar they made their way to their own table. It was dark inside and the wood tables were also of dark wood and well varnished but also well used. There was a nice smell about the place which was of wood ..wood fire and age..absent of newness. I saw no other people.

I felt that I was the orchestrator of the scheme and expected them to order drinks and perhaps even a meal to spread the evening out a bit. However all of a sudden the lecturer became amorous towards the student and the more I watched,,with a mixture of horror and sexual stimulation, It became more erotic. I expected the student to resist and I would then have to step in and end the operation . He was now kissing her in a very erotic fashion and she rolled her head back allowing him to follow her neckline to her bosom stayed sitting and she, being small took a standing position. He then craned his head up and met her , burying his face in her cleavage which she then frantically started to loosen and pull aside.

I remember watching in fascinated sexual stimulation at the eroticism of it all and being sort of aware of the change in temperament, pulse rates, perspiration and the abandonment to uncontrollable lust. It went a little further and then that was it ,,finished..sorry..he he . As you can imagine..the plot failed to lure the abductors but I did feel like I may have been used by the lecturer and even wondered if he in fact was in with the abductors.

Mickorod Renard: i have a dream,,although i think it was poor
Eliza Madrigal: hm, well let's try it
Korel Laloix: And I have another Sama dream that is mostly cheerful if you need.
Mickorod Renard: and with some sex
    Korel Laloix: lol.. same here...
Mickorod Renard: although I kept it tame
    Wol Euler: ooh great :)
    Mickorod Renard: who first then?
    Korel Laloix: Me last.
Mickorod Renard: is Samas a big one?
    Mickorod Renard: ok ty
Korel Laloix: It is fairly long.
Mickorod Renard: I will look mine up
    Eliza Madrigal: ok
    Eliza Madrigal grins at title
    Mickorod Renard: ok?..all got it?
    Qt Core: yes
    Korel Laloix: Nice.. smiles
    Eliza Madrigal reads...
    Wol Euler giggles.
Wol Euler: that is a cheerful dream
Eliza Madrigal: wouldn't have wanted to miss this.... Mick as rotund older woman
    Mickorod Renard: he he

    --BELL--

Wol Euler: I'm not sure how that would actually have caught anyone out to abduct children ...
Wol Euler: but dream logic hs its own rules
Mickorod Renard: yes, weird in a way
Wol Euler: what was your feeling about the missing children?
Mickorod Renard: I cant remember much about it now,,it is a wek or so old
Eliza Madrigal: maybe because she was petite...so meant to be a kind of stand in for a child, and to draw attention?
Mickorod Renard: I didnt feel as connected to the parents as I thought I was
Mickorod Renard: yes, I wondered this too,,in respect to size and age
Mickorod Renard: I felt a bit pervy having the dream..especially in respect to the children and then the sexual element but I am comfortable with my own awake self
Mickorod Renard: wondered whether I should hide the dream
Wol Euler: well, it's not like you were an active participant
Mickorod Renard: true..but the thoughts were all mine
Mickorod Renard: but I was def on the moral side of the character in the dream
Eliza Madrigal: yes, no awful thoughts here...
Eliza Madrigal: but it is clear you still felt bothered by the mixture of plots

Mickorod Renard: I guess..in some small way..there are elements of my past work mixed in with it
    Wol Euler nods.
Eliza Madrigal: did you feel noticeably different as the woman in the beginning of the dream?
Mickorod Renard: investigating and inside each enquiry there lies other dodgy plots that in a way are not your business but you feel compelled to deaal with them
    Eliza Madrigal: ahhh
Mickorod Renard: I did not feel out of place as the woman..it was brief
Eliza Madrigal: you remind me of something my son said to me once "you have no problems of your own, just everyone else's problems. " :))
    Wol Euler: ha :)
Eliza Madrigal: a few years later he took that half back ;-P
Eliza Madrigal: but that is the feeling

Mickorod Renard: yes, its a funny thing that,,I sometimes would have to stop on my way home from work for a little weep,,and then go home and not say anything to my wife of the days affairs
    Eliza Madrigal: ((( )))
Wol Euler leans over and gives your hand a squeeze
Eliza Madrigal: perhaps you will always been working that out, letting that go
    Eliza Madrigal: be*
Korel Laloix: Those emotional episodes are never at a convenience time.
Mickorod Renard: maybe..well, def...but its just life
Korel Laloix: I feel that Mick.
    Wol Euler nods.
Mickorod Renard: yes, I can imagine Korel
Mickorod Renard: there is a strange seperation to do some jobs
Mickorod Renard: sometimes shut things out all together
Wol Euler: rather like hospital staff do
    Eliza Madrigal: compartments
Mickorod Renard: to revisit in the mind is a dangerous thing
    Mickorod Renard: yes!
    Eliza Madrigal: good comparison

    bun bun_006.jpg

Mickorod Renard: in some ways this is why,,although i am very trusting,,I also doubt what is truth
    Mickorod Renard: a bit paradoxical
Mickorod Renard: I found it tedious at times to spend time showing doubt over what folks said because it seemed pointless attaching to trivia,,some took this as me being naive..he he
Korel Laloix: For me, the thing is, I was one of those sort of forced to compartment things when I was young. And it was functional then. But closing down those compartments later in life is very very very hard to do.. and there are consequences. The ability to trust is one of the things that suffers.

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: mmm
Qt Core: has this something to do to the lady going for the drink and you don't really want ?
Eliza Madrigal: "I can't unsee" - a friend said to me. So one has to sort of grow to be able to hold opposing realities
Mickorod Renard: yenot sure QT,,will read that bit agains, and also makes one think of how much
    Mickorod Renard: nice point eliza
Korel Laloix: There are things you can't unsee.. but worse are the things you can't unfeel.
    Eliza Madrigal nods...
Eliza Madrigal: you mean it becomes visceral, Kori?
    Wol Euler shivers
Korel Laloix: Not sure what you mean by that.
Eliza Madrigal: or hm, immediate - before thought
Korel Laloix: Just gets very much hard wired into you.
Korel Laloix: Yes. I think that would be a good way to say it.
    Eliza Madrigal: understand

Mickorod Renard: QT, I think there was some element of not wanting to join in for drinks because I felt I had other things to do
Mickorod Renard: so yes, the social side was too trivial
Eliza Madrigal: really wondering what the missing children represent
    Eliza Madrigal: places of innocence?
Mickorod Renard: missing children have featured in my dreams before,,but i have been involved with children in my work a lot
Wol Euler: that must be so hard
    Wol Euler: still
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Mickorod Renard: but often the coin has two meanings I think
Mickorod Renard: so maybe I lost what should have been my innocent approach to life
Eliza Madrigal: that would be a nice way to look at it
    Eliza Madrigal: reclaiming childlike elements

Mickorod Renard: yes, and at the same time,,the same stage and props are used in the dream for the representations of what effected me too
Mickorod Renard: and also,,having children and now grandchildren the fears of what you know are posible come out to haunt too
    Wol Euler nods.
Eliza Madrigal: you need to include those parts rather than forget them somehow
Eliza Madrigal: be aware and yet absorb them into a wider vision or something
Mickorod Renard: yes..i am sure I do..dream land though is a strange place
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    Mickorod Renard: what about Samas?
Korel Laloix: Sure... if you like.
    Mickorod Renard: have we time?
    Wol Euler: htank you, mick
Mickorod Renard: thankyou for hearing it
Eliza Madrigal: yes thanks Mick, wish I had more insight to offer

Eliza Madrigal: something to do with a dream that leaves a lot of questions is, to look from the view of every element... like, what does each person/thing feel or think they are there for - are they protecting the dreamer in some way, or challenging them... I read a few blog posts from someone who did this with a dream today, and it was interesting. I'll share the link if you like, with the caveat that the person is otherwise a controversial 'spiritual teacher" type and not everyone's cup of tea. :P

Mickorod Renard: no, I thought it was not too deep

    Eliza Madrigal: (sorry that's long)
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks Kori
    Korel Laloix: No worries.
    Mickorod Renard: thanks eliza
Eliza Madrigal: I'll include the link to that when I post the log later

    Kori's Dream

    In Russian

Sama had just checked into her room on a cruise ship, changed into her swimsuit and headed up to the pool. She really did not want to swim, but instead just wanted a drink and a place to sit in the sun.  So she got to the pool deck and found a nice sunny space and went to the bar for a drink.  But when she got there, there was just one guy saying the bar staff was sick so they could not serve.  She and a lot of other folks were really annoyed.  So Sama asked if she could tend bar instead.  They agreed after a bit of convincing and Sama and this other girl started playing bartender.

Sama was a bit uncomfortable with this as the other girl was clearly interested in her; so she just kept busy and kept the chat boring.  It was not working out so well as the girl was getting aggressive.   But then I showed up and made clear Sama was not available.  So the girl backed off.  But Sama was still annoyed at me for taking so long to get there.  *(Sama did not notice during the dream, but looking back, 3 interesting things caught her attention.  I was speaking fluent Russian with my real accent, vs normally when people have "flat" accents; I was wearing a bikini, which I never do RL; and in this case, Sama dreamed she was my height, vs normal when she dreams me her height.)

So Sama worked and gave me all the free drinks I could take.. which was a huge amount, and I never appeared to get even tipsy.  So she wondered if the was actually alcohol in the booze they were giving out.  So she tasted the vodka and it was OK, just not that good, as expected.

When it came time for us to get ready for the dinner dance things, Sama had a hard time leaving the bar as she was doing a great job and people thought she actually worked there.  So I finally had to grab her hand and pull her back to the room.  When we get back to the room we have a nice quick, active shower together (censored.. lol).  We then got dressed for the dinner dance thing that evening.  Sama put on a "sparkly red cocktail dress" and I put on a Bond sort of tux.  We worked on each other's hair.  I put hers in a nice updo.. but then Sama started braiding my hair.  But it has somehow grown to like five feet long so it takes her a while.

So we had a quick bite to eat in the restaurant, then started Latin dancing. Not many other people were dancing though, so we were essentially twerking.  So I decided that we needed to go find someplace a bit more private.  Sama is reluctant, but we find a place up on a higher deck where passengers aren't supposed to go at night, just behind a low wall..  And we take advantage of a very comfy large reclining deck chair.

While we where busy, people kept walking by on the other side of the short wall, so we had to get quiet when they were near.  The people that walked by were mostly strangers, but some where people with which Sama has had difficult relationships (let down or the like).  Her mother, a couple of friends from Florida, a co-worker, etc.  But the most interesting one to walk by was our daughter as an adult.  *(Sama could not say how she knew that person was our daughter though.)

She woke up soon after that, but not because of that.  Interesting note though, we both woke up fairly rilled up (which is very rare for me), even-though it was her dream.  I don't remember me dreaming anything, as normal.

    Eliza Madrigal reading...
    Korel Laloix: Thanks.
    Eliza Madrigal giggling...
    Wol Euler: sweet!
Korel Laloix: This is rather edited for wider reading.... smiles
Eliza Madrigal: love the phrasing... active showering, haha

    --BELL--

Mickorod Renard: I love the vividness
Eliza Madrigal: interesting the way she blends the two of you, your characteristics, together... hair braiding, height
Mickorod Renard: although I have a soft spot for cruises
    Korel Laloix smiles
Qt Core: so, all in all life ask you to do things you are not supposed to do, you do it and then people continue to try to bother you, not really a thing that happens only i dreamland ;-)
Korel Laloix: I just thought it was fun.
    Eliza Madrigal: it is
    Wol Euler: agreed :)
    Mickorod Renard: yes for sure
Korel Laloix: Sama was reluctant to share this one, but after some editing she was OK with it...
Wol Euler: I can understand that :)

Eliza Madrigal: one thing I wonder about is the "low wall" because, although people aren't intruding upon you, they could, easily
Mickorod Renard: I liked the timing of you turning up ,,sort of just slightly behind expectation...I think it is a fine balance sometimes,,between showing you are attentative but not being overly possesive
Korel Laloix: lol... we do have that issue for sure...
    Wol Euler smiles.
Mickorod Renard: I think most couples do
Korel Laloix: Had a few chats about it.. one of the things we have to work on.. we are both soooo type A.
Wol Euler: ((back in a sec, RL intruding))
    Korel Laloix: ok
    Eliza Madrigal: :) k
Eliza Madrigal: maybe both can set clear boundaries and expectations, if type A... so possibly a good combo
Korel Laloix: I think we are doing that more and more....
Korel Laloix: Drawing lines is a difficult process.
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: impossible for some :)
Korel Laloix: Letting someone else do my finances has been a very painful process of letting go.
Eliza Madrigal: in the beginning there was an "intruder" but they were given 0 place... were kind of a reason to be closer in some sense
Eliza Madrigal: ah gee, money is too concrete sometimes :)

Eliza Madrigal: I wonder what there being no one able to serve drinks was about in the dream
Eliza Madrigal: external supports for you two as a couple to enjoy one another, to just play happily?
Korel Laloix: NO idea about that one.
Wol Euler: I like that attitude, "what? we aren't having that! move over!"
Eliza Madrigal: (I always read too much into things :)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes Wol!
Korel Laloix: Could be.. or I would guess, since so much frustration in her life recently, make an expression of that.
Mickorod Renard: yes, ..i wondered about the giving of the amount of drink may suggest to me,,no professional knowledge.....that there was a desire for you to open up more?
Korel Laloix: People not being there for her.
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: which goes forward to the parade of people past the low wall
Korel Laloix: Sama is much more open emotionally than I am for sure.. so possibly.
Eliza Madrigal: time of joy and rest but still have to hold lots of roles and responsibilities
Eliza Madrigal: and keep guards up
    Eliza Madrigal: at least somewhat

Mickorod Renard: I love latin dancing
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Korel Laloix: I am learning... smiles.
Eliza Madrigal: haven't danced in ages... even in SL
    Mickorod Renard: erotic
    Wol Euler: awwwwww
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Korel Laloix: Sama is great instructor... growing up in Cuba evidently did not hurt.... lol
    Mickorod Renard: hey yes!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Mickorod Renard: I like a sort of rumba to modern music,,such fun
Mickorod Renard: did most of my dancing on cruise liners
    Wol Euler: huh
Eliza Madrigal: seems you'd both be at home in Miami, so why am I here
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Korel Laloix: We are going on a cruise for the honeymoon... so I have been told that I will be good at dancing before we go.... grins
Mickorod Renard: well..a nice dream again Korel
    Eliza Madrigal: very nice
Korel Laloix: I will let her know.
    Wol Euler: oh cool, congratulations
    Mickorod Renard: fantastic Korel

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: oh wait... I danced on my birthday two years ago... stranger... he kept yelling "hey" ...haha
Eliza Madrigal: it was part of his dancing
    Mickorod Renard: he he
    Wol Euler grins.
    Mickorod Renard: stranger in paradise
Wol Euler: well, next Thursday I will set out a room full of dance balls for us
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Wol Euler: so we can dance while dreaming
Eliza Madrigal: that would be fun
    Mickorod Renard: great idea Wol
    Korel Laloix: OH fun.. tango?
Qt Core: i need to go close this day too, bye all and have fun dreaming
    Wol Euler: definitely tango!
    Eliza Madrigal: yes please
    Mickorod Renard: bye QT
Wol Euler: bye qt, take care
    Eliza Madrigal: yay
    Eliza Madrigal: OK qt, ntsy
    Korel Laloix: Ciao all.
    Korel Laloix: back to work.

Mickorod Renard: ahh ok,,I must drop in to see him
Bleu Oleander: I can update it when necessary
Eliza Madrigal: I'm going to try also, but it is hard on Fridays sometimes
    Eliza Madrigal: you sure Bleu?
Eliza Madrigal: I worry about your having so many tasks
    Bleu Oleander: just takes seconds
Mickorod Renard: yes, tomorow is grandchild bday
Bleu Oleander: won't change that much
Eliza Madrigal: second here, second there..
    Eliza Madrigal: aw, Mick :))
    Mickorod Renard: 2

Mickorod Renard: he went to hospital today after eating a washing tablet
    Eliza Madrigal zooming sign
    Wol Euler: oops
Bleu Oleander: didn't mean to interrupt
Eliza Madrigal: oh dear! I'm guessing he is okay since you are here
    Bleu Oleander: whenever
    Mickorod Renard: yes all good
    Mickorod Renard: ty
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: I should remove "with stevanaia" from the calendar
Eliza Madrigal: since he hasn't been attending those with eos
Eliza Madrigal: so might want to do that now... and also "with Luci" I think
Bleu Oleander: just let me know and I can change
Eliza Madrigal: I'm going to take those off
Wol Euler: my dears, I fear that I must slip away. It's getting late.
