Korel Laloix: I am just glad this AV has been stable for years now.
Korel Laloix: Was annoying in the earlier days.

Wol Euler: SL has improved greatly since the "good old days"
Korel Laloix: I was worrying about this one a couple of weeks ago.
Korel Laloix: Went a week without being able to change clothes.. not that I change much anyway.

Korel Laloix: SL was smaller back then... some ways more interesting.
Wol Euler: agreed
Korel Laloix: Or maybe I had more tiem to explore.
Korel Laloix: I most just pop in to chat these days...
Wol Euler: my feeling is that it has ... stabilized, let's say
Wol Euler: there seems to be less adventure and diversity, more polish
Korel Laloix: Interesting way to frame it.
Korel Laloix: And some of the upgrades were not if you asked me.
Korel Laloix: Like mesh.....

Wol Euler: the net result of mesh has been a reduction of diversity
Korel Laloix: Made things more laggy and slow as well.
Wol Euler: that too :)
Korel Laloix: But I am still thanksufl for SL...
Korel Laloix: Really hlped with my English.

Korel Laloix: And I do learn things all the time as well.
Wol Euler: we're programmed to learn languages from each other

Korel Laloix: The thing about SL, it made me actually have to think about grammar and spelling.
Korel Laloix: MOre so than when writing papers.
Korel Laloix: I would not have the job I have toda without SL I dont' think.
Wol Euler: oh!
Wol Euler: perhaps the instant feedback was a help here`?
Korel Laloix: I think that is a major part yes.
Korel Laloix: And the frustrations of trying to get accross shades of meaning.
Korel Laloix: Something I dont have to do often in class papers.

Wol Euler: we did a lot of work here in PaB on expressing ourselves carefully, I too have benefited from that

Korel Laloix: I would liek to be in Paris for the big meeting. I think that would be fun.
Wol Euler: riotous fun, one might say
Wol Euler: disturbances are expected
Korel Laloix: I would like to see something like that though.

Korel Laloix: A human expereince I have not had yet... I like being a tourist of events not places.
Wol Euler: hmmm, that's a concept I hadn't considered before
Korel Laloix: I can see a museum anywhere... going to a museum that is have a performance art exhibit is actually memorable to me.

Korel Laloix: I like concerts and plays and exhibits more than just looking at art. A good rave, a quiet mass, recording a cooking TV show, etx.
