Adams Rubble: do you live in the mountains or on relatively flat land?
Catrinamonblue Resident: farm country :) relatively flat, near the st Lawrence river in eastern Ontario :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: it is :) the trails I love are along the river, very beautiful :)

Adams Rubble: the Upper canada Migratory Sanctiary is in an isleand?

Catrinamonblue Resident: there is a causway that goes over to the camp grounds, the trails themselves are before that.
Catrinamonblue Resident: the stephanie Grady education pavillion shows up on google maps for me, that is where the nature trials start, they circle around that area.
Adams Rubble: does the St Lawrence River freeze in the winter?

Catrinamonblue Resident: not fully, I'm pretty sure there is shipping traffic all year long :)
Adams Rubble: I live near the Raritan River which is small enough to freeze when it gets very cold

Adams Rubble: but no shipping traffic anymore
Adams Rubble: lots of big ports nearby

Adams Rubble: too bad we don;t seem to be able to learn more from Canada on things like health care and guns
Adams Rubble: wish you could send some of that iover the river

Adams Rubble: yes what they did in Australia is astounding

Adams Rubble: I heard a wonderful interview with the PM who got the gun laws through in Australia. He was voted out of office but has not regrets because what he did was so important
Adams Rubble: no regrest
Catrinamonblue Resident: oh wow.. awesome for him :) need that kind of leadership in our countries too

Catrinamonblue Resident: there are a few who are pretty sure we are doomed with our new gov't ;) lol
Adams Rubble apologizes for bringing politics into the discussion; the chickadees and river trails were more fun
Catrinamonblue Resident: oh it's no problem :) I'm not much for politics, and get a bit of a laugh at thise who are so upset
Catrinamonblue Resident: it's silliness as far as I'm concerned, though I do think if you guys get Trump as president it'll be proof the world is coming to an end ;)
Adams Rubble: it is hard not to get upset at some of the things happening in US

Catrinamonblue Resident: Trump is filled with hatred and bigotry... would be a terrible thing if he got in
