The Guardian for this meeting was stevenaia Michinaga. The comments are by stevenaia Michinaga.

Druth arrived while I was watching the SL sunset....

    druth Vlodovic: guarding the gates?
stevenaia Michinaga: watching the horizon, seems better than sitting watching a fountain
    stevenaia Michinaga: how are you?
druth Vlodovic: I was wondering if I should pick another, we could watch the sunrise and set
    druth Vlodovic: well enough
    druth Vlodovic: you?
    stevenaia Michinaga: pick another what
    stevenaia Michinaga: I am good
druth Vlodovic: I miss your floofy colourful dresses
stevenaia Michinaga: I have difficulty changing my outfits, I always loosed what I was in my inventory
    druth Vlodovic: bummer
stevenaia Michinaga: the namesof the dresses are always so forgetable
    druth Vlodovic: lolm true
druth Vlodovic: I rename mine with descriptions
stevenaia Michinaga: had someone try to organize things, but it was a thankless task of trying things on
druth Vlodovic: then later you look at your org system and wonder "why the heck would I put that there???"
    druth Vlodovic: funny
druth Vlodovic: I just came from a discussion about "core self"
stevenaia Michinaga: so I change about once or twice a year, yes, exactly
    stevenaia Michinaga: can you summerize?
druth Vlodovic: and how we change so much from what we were
druth Vlodovic: just whether we have a core self,or are just collections of influences
stevenaia Michinaga: the core is an endless discovery, always changing, I would hope
druth Vlodovic: we came down about 50/50 on the topic and convinced nobody
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
druth Vlodovic: which is par for the course
stevenaia Michinaga: I'm sure you were both correct
druth Vlodovic: do you travel the unknown roads of your core self much?
stevenaia Michinaga: which aspect of "core" were you seeking
druth Vlodovic: oh, I was on the "no" side
druth Vlodovic: I am just a flashlight poking around a huge unlighted city of wonder
stevenaia Michinaga: the unknown roads reveal themselves like a flower opening up over time
stevenaia Michinaga: it is a journey in some respects
    druth Vlodovic: oh?
stevenaia Michinaga: it come to you, not sure you "travel" to it
druth Vlodovic: you cannot watch something in nature, you can only watch something that is being watched by you

    --BELL--

    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: you only see what is already there, waiting to be sen
    stevenaia Michinaga: *seen
druth Vlodovic: does it change you when it sees you, or does it leave only footprints and take nothing but pictures?
stevenaia Michinaga: it is always there, under the weeds, watch where you step
    druth Vlodovic: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: or look where you step, and you will incover more of yourself
    stevenaia Michinaga: *uncover
druth Vlodovic: incover things inside yourself?
druth Vlodovic: funny how we find so much of ourselves outside instead
stevenaia Michinaga: I believe you only see what you already have within yourself
    druth Vlodovic: mmm
druth Vlodovic: I have heard that once before
druth Vlodovic: not sure it survives analysis
stevenaia Michinaga: like hate.. or love for instance, hard to find it inside yourself if was never there to begin with
druth Vlodovic: though something we did discuss was the analytical examination of exactitude and the fuzzy journey of imaginative discovery
    druth Vlodovic: true
druth Vlodovic: you can't hate others without hating, and where does that take place?
    druth Vlodovic: or love
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s what you are "made' of... or not
druth Vlodovic: I suspect the world makes much of me from it's own substance
stevenaia Michinaga: some people don;t hate, some people only hate
druth Vlodovic: hate is a nice safe emotion in some respects, no vulnerabilities, and any damage can be said to come from outside
stevenaia Michinaga: I see it as a defense because of the inability to accept vulnerability
druth Vlodovic: perhaps fear of what might be found inside oneself if you relax
stevenaia Michinaga: an excuse not to accept...
druth Vlodovic: something you said earlier...
druth Vlodovic: about you hope to find the core always changing
druth Vlodovic: would you be worried if it stopped?
stevenaia Michinaga: did I say hope? I think I said it is always changing
druth Vlodovic: [19:10] stevenaia Michinaga: the core is an endless discovery, always changing, I would hope
druth Vlodovic: it seemed a compelling statement
stevenaia Michinaga: It is always changing if you choose to watch

    druth Vlodovic: just curious
stevenaia Michinaga: an no, I would not worry if it appears to not change, it just means I am not looking

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: kicking the weeds out of the way

stevenaia Michinaga: probably what I like about what I do every day, it is always different
    druth Vlodovic: is it?
stevenaia Michinaga: no day is the same, new journeys await, new people, new problem to resolve
druth Vlodovic: the spice of life
stevenaia Michinaga: I think of it as a picture puzzle, same process, diffrent picture to put together
    druth Vlodovic: new iterations?
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, like walking, just new destination
druth Vlodovic: or old tools brought to a whole new project?
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: best of all, there's a quiet joy to it
druth Vlodovic: an interesting tool :)
druth Vlodovic: carrying equanimity and openness to joy around in a little bag
stevenaia Michinaga: interestingly put, like going to the hardware store
stevenaia Michinaga: always find an new tool to use and be entertaiend by
    stevenaia Michinaga: *entertained
druth Vlodovic: "Oh I have no tools sir, only toys and the greatest playground of them all."
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: I find that many people spend a lot of their energy resisting rather than accepting.... without understanding there is another way
stevenaia Michinaga: probably comes back to hate, fear etc, mentioned earlier
druth Vlodovic: there is a limit to what should be accepted
druth Vlodovic: though I guess that just means I have a slightly looser collar, rather than freedom
stevenaia Michinaga: and a limit to what you need to hate and fear
druth Vlodovic: people are always incredulous that I don't lock my car in cities
stevenaia Michinaga: I suspect the inevitable result is probably the same
druth Vlodovic: I tell them I have never been robbed but I have locked myself out
druth Vlodovic: so on the balance I cause myself more problems than I prevent
stevenaia Michinaga: I once was broken into in NYC, they broke my window, lock did not help
    stevenaia Michinaga: (car)
druth Vlodovic: well, that was my original idea, car contents versus car repair
druth Vlodovic: but for some reason I started locking it
druth Vlodovic: not even sure what convinced me to start
druth Vlodovic: stay loose, be flexible,
druth Vlodovic: the book of life with te words "Don't Panic" written in large friendly letters on the front
stevenaia Michinaga: Did the same in my house, was broken into once when no one was home and someone opened the unlocked door and took things when someone was home 2x
druth Vlodovic: scary people breaking in when you are home
stevenaia Michinaga: so we lock the door all them now, but don;t lock our cars parked
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, they came in and out in 5 seconds, never saw them, took things that were visable
stevenaia Michinaga: I heard them from another floor
stevenaia Michinaga: friend slept through the second invasion
    stevenaia Michinaga: creepie
    stevenaia Michinaga: expensive
druth Vlodovic: I take it you're not a big "stand your ground"er
stevenaia Michinaga: lol, NO it would have been pointless, never had the opportunity to confront them
stevenaia Michinaga: even though I would have had the law on my side.
druth Vlodovic: I was talking to someone from England and she mentioned noticing a "obsession with price" in Canada, and in the US when there is a flood or disaster they deploy the police to, get this, "prevent looting"
druth Vlodovic: why is STUFF so important?
    --BELL--
stevenaia Michinaga: because they set things up that way
    stevenaia Michinaga: a myth
    druth Vlodovic: a distraction
druth Vlodovic: from quality of life probably
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, why pipelines are being built when they cold be a hugh envirnmental disaster, all because of money
stevenaia Michinaga: nothing else when there are alternatives
druth Vlodovic: "what do you do with more money than you can ever spend?"
stevenaia Michinaga: there is no... enough money, you never get "full" and have to stop
druth Vlodovic: perhaps the rule of emptiness is that instead of filling yourself and making your hungers bigger you empty yourself until the hungers go away
stevenaia Michinaga: you could give it away like that writer is of harry potter is doing
druth Vlodovic: I heard of that
druth Vlodovic: I hope she keeps enough to be comfortable and able to keep writing
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, she dropped below a billionaire
stevenaia Michinaga: I think she will be comfortable
druth Vlodovic: funny, under a trump presidency the US will be even more concerned with accumulating and even less able to keep
druth Vlodovic: if his habits to date run true
druth Vlodovic: I have given up things that seemed necessary to life and found no need for them after
    druth Vlodovic: TV, electricity
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    druth Vlodovic: etc
druth Vlodovic: funny how easy it is to do
stevenaia Michinaga: some things you don;t even miss
druth Vlodovic: maybe modern stress is just the effort we put into manufacturing our needs, rather than the work involved in filling them
    druth Vlodovic: hmm
druth Vlodovic: I'm off to see if the bunnies are in the mood for a cuddle
    stevenaia Michinaga: enjoy
    druth Vlodovic: have fun :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: thanks
