    Riddle Sideways: back
    Riddle Sideways: Hi adams
    Adams Rubble: Hello Riddle
Riddle Sideways: was looking the other way and might have missed the bounce in
Adams Rubble is walking a bit slower these days
    Riddle Sideways: any reason?
    Adams Rubble nods
Adams Rubble: the news is heavy
Adams Rubble: sorry to be morise
    Adams Rubble: morose
    Riddle Sideways: oh
Riddle Sideways: ah, now remembering how mad/upset last night
Riddle Sideways: then watched some SNL so sleep might be easier
Adams Rubble: it hangs heavy in the air
Riddle Sideways: which news has you this time?
Riddle Sideways: there are many to pick from
    Adams Rubble: just in general
Adams Rubble: no news is good news :)
Riddle Sideways: the one that did it last night was the "Alt-Right" guy and the CNN reporters talking
Riddle Sideways: a way out there guy
Adams Rubble: I saw a headline this morning that trump is going to try to distract us
Adams Rubble: it is what he has done all year
Riddle Sideways: but, he did ask out loud "Are Jews People?"
    Adams Rubble: geeez
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: many are pooh poohing the comparisons to Hitler
Adams Rubble: Last night I dreamed the Nazis were marching in our town
Riddle Sideways: yet it was the condition that Germany was in at that time
    Riddle Sideways: the dividedness
    Adams Rubble: yes divisiness
Riddle Sideways: All Jews had to wear a star to mark them
Adams Rubble: they are starting with the Muslims
Riddle Sideways: very afraid that is going to happen
Riddle Sideways: yes, a different mark for each
Riddle Sideways: those who will have to wear a green card
Adams Rubble: we are going to have to learn new skills to resist
Adams Rubble: watch out for our neighbors
Riddle Sideways: those that will have special marks on them showing they declared bankruptcy and not paid their workers
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: and those who have not paid their taxes
Riddle Sideways: here we go ... back to the McCarthy days of telling on your neighbors
Adams Rubble: there is a large moon behind use
Riddle Sideways: all those assault weapons that are stock piled under beds and in the kid's closets
    Adams Rubble: that scares me

Riddle Sideways: yes, nice big virtual full moon
Riddle Sideways: the day goes so fast in SL. watching the moon quickly sink into the next sim
    Adams Rubble nods
Adams Rubble: four years can be over in one year
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: wouldn't that be nice
Riddle Sideways: so nice that when dark thoughts cloud a mind, just looking at the moon does so much
Adams Rubble got us off to a bad start
    Riddle Sideways: had to happen
                   --BELL--
Adams Rubble: The trick is going to stay alert without getting bogged down in the distractions
Riddle Sideways: that is a trick
Riddle Sideways: culture a new mental state
Adams Rubble: I wonder how the nine seconds would help :)
    Riddle Sideways: of alertness and
    Riddle Sideways: actually it would
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: Pema to the rescue
Riddle Sideways: every 15 minutes review the universe
Riddle Sideways: re-check the grand conditions
Adams Rubble: looking at our mind
Riddle Sideways: then go back to weeding the garden
Riddle Sideways: but stay alert to everything
    Riddle Sideways: 1%
Adams Rubble: and looking out for our neighbors
Riddle Sideways: well, their garden is always greener
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: sort of easy, one neighbor has hated us for years
    Riddle Sideways: never knew why
    Riddle Sideways: oh well,
Adams Rubble: once someone has a grudge it must be fed to keep it going
Adams Rubble: think up new reasons
Riddle Sideways: their not Racist, just have a grudge?
    Adams Rubble thinking about enighbors
Riddle Sideways: there sure has been a lot of fuel to fed grudges lately

    Adams Rubble listens
Riddle Sideways: how some ppl will not go to their relatives
Riddle Sideways: how some others have banned political talk

Riddle Sideways: both British and American
Riddle Sideways: and wears a garment that most can't catagorize

Adams Rubble: The people who are nostalgic for the 50s were being protected from the world by the parents :)
    Adams Rubble: just saying
Riddle Sideways: most of the interview is about the new book, but there are gems in there
Riddle Sideways: Yes! those nostalgic for the 50s were white
    Adams Rubble: yes, that too
Adams Rubble: and being in a warm coccoon
    Riddle Sideways: yes

Riddle Sideways: occasionally looking out of the caccoon to see Amish and wonder about their lives
    Adams Rubble giggles
Riddle Sideways: the slurs were against the Amish
Adams Rubble: giggle at the reference not the Amish
Riddle Sideways: how was that possible
Riddle Sideways: have thought that was the best intro to bigotry, racism, class, nasty evil things was picking on the Amish
Adams Rubble: wow, bringing the Amish in opens whole new ways of looking at this
Adams Rubble: I was raised in Pennsylvania and know nothing about picking on the Amish
Riddle Sideways: well that was the RL bigotry in small upstate NY
Adams Rubble: we get too soon alt and too late smart

    Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: our school district got the money for the kids that never attended
Riddle Sideways: being raised in a big city would not have made it soooo blatant that invented bigotry was wrong
Adams Rubble: it was hard not to know someone from the group being hated
Riddle Sideways: more groups to spread the ...
