Eden Haiku: I'm into camommille-lavender herbal tea only these days...
Storm Nordwind: That will do the trick :)
Eden Haiku: Oh! how sweet Adams!
Riddle Sideways: that would make the house smell nice
    Eliza Madrigal: hm, no chamomile

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: Linden Flower tea is excellent Eliza, thank you :)
Riddle Sideways: thinks that tea got Eden high
Eden Haiku: Is island rum good for you Adams?
Eliza Madrigal: traveling light as always
Adams Rubble: It will make you forget the pain :)
Eden Haiku: No it's the island rum hat Adams gave me...
    Eden Haiku: Linden Flower tea
Riddle Sideways: a special hat to drink rum in
Eden Haiku: This tea cup message is quite weird,...
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Eliza Madrigal nods :)
Riddle Sideways: always enjoy non-random random number generators
Eliza Madrigal: toast to the new year, too, for everyone observing ~L'shanah tovah :)Not sure if tea or rum is more appropriate
Eden Haiku: Which is which Riddle, rum or tea?
Riddle Sideways: thanks, appropriate enough today
    Eden Haiku: ;)
    Riddle Sideways: probably wine
Eden Haiku: ah yes, dark sweetwine isn't it?
Riddle Sideways: well, that is tradition, but Manashevitz is bery bad
Eden Haiku: Tasted it once, I agree. It tasted like my grandma homemade wine: very very sweet...
Riddle Sideways: more like cough syrup
    Eden Haiku: Yes :)
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Riddle Sideways: SL cup seems bottomless, looks at RL coffee cup
Eliza Madrigal: Are you attending a retreat this coming weekend Eden?
Eden Haiku: I used to love my grandma's wine when I was 9 years old, We would get a glass every Friday night, after helping my mother shining the wooden floors
Storm Nordwind: Bottomless cups, however, need bottomless people. :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: Yes, a shamanic circle Eliza, Saturday and Sunday, Here up the hills.
Eden Haiku: I need white clothes and a ceremony costume and lots of other things. Raincoats and so on.We will be mostly working outdoors.
Eliza Madrigal: Questing for a new vision?
    Eden Haiku: Mostly healing visions.
    Eliza Madrigal: oh?
Riddle Sideways: ah, white clothes in the outdoor mud
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Yes Riddle,I can see that :)
Eden Haiku: And the weather dropped to very cold lately...
    Riddle Sideways: cold here too
Eden Haiku: Is it the same for you Adams?
Storm Nordwind: And don't forget the shamanic wellies (as Brits would call them).
    Eden Haiku: Wellies Storm?
    Storm Nordwind: Waterproof rubber boots
Adams Rubble: it is cooler but not cold
Eden Haiku: Ah! Bought some new pair, I will be ok for that :0

    --BELL--

Adams Rubble: it is raining--water, not bones (the dogs aren't getting their prayers answered)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: I'm amazed at the shaman's capacity to light a fire outside, even under rainy conditions.
Storm Nordwind: We always used to tease the druids we knew for having special white Wellington Boots (wellies) to match their robes. ;)
Eliza Madrigal pictures little girls in nightgowns and rubber boots running out to greet carriages in the fog
Eden Haiku: nice picture Eliza :)
Eden Haiku: Dogs prayers being answered, smiles at Adams :)
Eden Haiku: The shaman once told me her secret: she uses bark of trees to light the fire. And now my chimney fires are always successfull. But it was too hot for those for most of the summer.
Riddle Sideways: Last night heard the Social sermon, about get off butt and help somebody
    Eden Haiku: listening
Riddle Sideways: that was all, just felt bad about not doing enough or at the Right actions
    Riddle Sideways: back to listening
Adams Rubble: you do lots Riddle
Riddle Sideways: there was a story
Riddle Sideways: that it is good to feed the hungry
Riddle Sideways: and pat self on back
Riddle Sideways: but,, how about doing something
Riddle Sideways: about why some are hungrey
Riddle Sideways: how about fixing something
    Riddle Sideways: instead of bandades
    Eliza Madrigal: justice over charity?
    Riddle Sideways: yep
Riddle Sideways: well, story was about a village by a river
Riddle Sideways: and often there would be somebody found floating in the river
Riddle Sideways: the village would pull them out
Riddle Sideways: and feel how good that they had helped
Riddle Sideways: finally some child asked, why are people up stream getting into the river
    Riddle Sideways: nobody knew
Riddle Sideways: so maybe they should go upstream and find out
Riddle Sideways: get on your boots and go
Riddle Sideways: done, gets down from soapbox
Eliza Madrigal: thank you for the story, Riddle :)
Adams Rubble: why were they falling in?
Storm Nordwind: I think we have to go find out ourselves Adams
    Eden Haiku: Curious too?
Riddle Sideways: that was not told, but was thinking of refugees
Riddle Sideways: people pushed out of their homes
    Eden Haiku: yes...
Eliza Madrigal: a story to question our habitual stopping points
    Riddle Sideways: yes, Eliza
    Eden Haiku: indeed
Riddle Sideways: feeding the homeless men, once a month
Riddle Sideways: not looking at why they are homeless
Riddle Sideways: why that child could not go to the doctor for fear the father would be deported
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Riddle Sideways: seems to be soapboxes everywhere
Eden Haiku: But then when we get a larger view, it seems matters are not in our hands,.,,
Riddle Sideways: thought that too, but why not
Riddle Sideways: why aren't they in our hands
Riddle Sideways: how can they be
    Eden Haiku: Good question Riddle...
Riddle Sideways: put back in 'Our' hands
    Riddle Sideways: the royal Our
Adams Rubble: because it takes 50 million of us or so to change the government
    Riddle Sideways: ok,
    Riddle Sideways: starts counting
Eden Haiku: I cannot vote in the US unfortuanately,...count me out...

    --BELL--

Riddle Sideways: sorry, am mad as hell and not going to quote movies anymo. Oh, yes am going to
Storm Nordwind: Very often the first step is listening to the unlistened. Because they usually already know the way out, the way to help. And what we think is best for them is often not what they need.
    Riddle Sideways: exactly Storm
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Eden Haiku: True
Eliza Madrigal: there is also lot to be said for living in such a way as to be available and responsive ... examples of life to others, sparks of questioning... a baseline perhaps
Storm Nordwind: We don't need another hero
    Riddle Sideways: Shama
Eden Haiku: Do you have a lot of study to do this week Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: watched a documentary last night, Robin Williams. His whole life expression took a turn upon seeing another comedian make his usually serious father laugh
    Eden Haiku: how interesting!
Eliza Madrigal: yes, the assignments are doubled now... and always feel like venturing into deep weeds at first
    Eden Haiku: oh!
Eliza Madrigal: by the end I am clearer and wonder what I was so panicked about, but that's just part of my personality I think
    Eden Haiku: smiles
Eliza Madrigal: I really want to be useful and practical, hah
Storm Nordwind: Growth can be scary. But so worthwhile!
Eden Haiku: And Adams, you are working om a new SL exhibit?ç
Eliza Madrigal: the things we're talking about... amazing how much busy work is needed for shifts
Adams Rubble: My alt is working

Adams Rubble admires how Eden making the rounds as a good host :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    Eden Haiku: Strange fruit
Adams Rubble: the exhibit makes one very angry
Eden Haiku: And Riddle is soon to put on a nice suit and attend a Rosh Hasannah service :)
Adams Rubble: but will force one to listen as Storm mentioned
Riddle Sideways: we have our plans
Eden Haiku: That's good Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: "how many deaths will it take til they see ..."
    Adams Rubble: until they remember
Adams Rubble: how could we have forgotten?
Riddle Sideways: the Answer, my friend
