Riddle Sideways: Computer was not really ready to run long distance yet, so restart needed
Riddle Sideways: Hey Bertram, welcome
--BELL--
Bertram Jacobus: wow - somebody present ! hi riddle ! :-)
Riddle Sideways: it has been a long time
Riddle Sideways: yes, am always amazed to get up and be here
Bertram Jacobus: oh yes - but i´m glad that you still "know" me ! ... :-)
Riddle Sideways: ha! the body may change, but it is mostly still you
Bertram Jacobus: and wonderful ! : i´m so thankful for all the service you pabers do ! ...
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, looks around for service done?
Bertram Jacobus: for your presence ...
Bertram Jacobus: since already now more then 10 years !
Riddle Sideways: the last couple days have not felt that have done enough service
Bertram Jacobus: why not ?
Riddle Sideways: welcome Adams
Bertram Jacobus: and hi adams ! :-)
Adams Rubble: Hello Riddle and Bertram :)
Riddle Sideways: well, the thought that showing up was enough
Adams Rubble: Surprise !
Bertram Jacobus: oops - whispering was not willingly, sry ...
Riddle Sideways: however, now maybe more needs to be done
Bertram Jacobus: which needs ?
Riddle Sideways: need to get off butt and do things
Bertram Jacobus: and hehe : suprise ? which one ? me ? :-D
Adams Rubble: I wasn't supposed to be here :)
Bertram Jacobus: oh. i see. things ! ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: ah - you. okey ... ;-)
Riddle Sideways: always a surprise
Adams Rubble: Those who are doing stuff feel they are not doing enough :(
Riddle Sideways: like when one shows up at a committee meeting and is then enrolled in the committee
Bertram Jacobus: yess - even the dalai lama said such ... always that feeling : not enough - but it was an error as i understood him - it would be something and so - good ... :-)
Adams Rubble: Committees take ooodles of time
Adams Rubble: I am on two
Bertram Jacobus: hehe yess
Riddle Sideways: showing up at holiday services means hearing a sermon on rolling up sleaves and doing more
Bertram Jacobus: humans ... communication ... :-D
Adams Rubble: My recent explorations seem to tell me that whatever we do we need to open our hearts and let the compassion flow
Bertram Jacobus: yesterday i found a movie "about samadhi", which i guess i like, on youtube - shall i gve the link ? ...
Riddle Sideways: please
Bertram Jacobus: :-))
Bertram Jacobus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw9z...yb0vQ-&index=2
Riddle Sideways: thanks
Bertram Jacobus: i´m curious whether it works for you in the us ...
Riddle Sideways: was looking for something to watch last night
Riddle Sideways: yes
Bertram Jacobus: and i must say, i like this first part. part two i found not so good ... hm
Riddle Sideways: played in SL web viewer
Bertram Jacobus: but no problem !
Bertram Jacobus: because part 1 i guess i like very much
Riddle Sideways: no problems
Bertram Jacobus: wonderful ! :-)
Riddle Sideways: pretty, but stops watching now
Bertram Jacobus: :-)))
Bertram Jacobus: and compassion and open heart are also aspects in this movie, "for sure" or "naturally" (!) ... ;-)
Riddle Sideways: thinking about Naturally compassionate
Adams Rubble: It is tough watching all the social services in the United States being dismantled by the cynical and mean rightists. I feel Riddle's pain. It is going to take some years to get it back together again starting with a small step this coming November. We can only do what we can for those suffering.
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: and that being told that, One can only do so much
Riddle Sideways: where to put the limited energy first?
Adams Rubble gives Riddle a virtual hug
Riddle Sideways: how to unite enough others to get something done
Riddle Sideways: hugs are really nice
Riddle Sideways: but does not get the dirty dishes done
Riddle Sideways: sorry
Bertram Jacobus: i often think : it doesn´t matter so much, where we bring in our engagement. more important is our motivation - welfare for all beings (?) ...
Adams Rubble: Riddles dirty dishes are 3000 miles away
Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: California is getting closer to succession
Bertram Jacobus: so we can engage ourself where ever we feel that we can help and being useful - and that is ok and more : wonderful
Riddle Sideways: California's going to have it's own global climate conferrence
Adams Rubble: succession has become a trend in the world lately
Riddle Sideways: sadly
Riddle Sideways: our good governor's term limits are running out
Adams Rubble: There is a shot to take both houses in the fall
Bertram Jacobus: succession ? what does that mean here in the context please ? could you explain that perhaps to the german guy ? ( me ) ;-)
Riddle Sideways: yes, working toward that
Adams Rubble: Like Britain pulling put of the EU
Riddle Sideways: think we used it two ways
Adams Rubble: or Scotland pulling out of Britain because they are pulling out of the EU
Riddle Sideways: yes, good example
Riddle Sideways: s
Bertram Jacobus: hmmm - i see - a kind of separation ?
Adams Rubble: yes
Bertram Jacobus: ah okay thanks. then i understand
Adams Rubble: a little visitor just came into my room
Adams Rubble: saif :hey" and left
Adams Rubble: said "hey"
Bertram Jacobus: and yes, it´s silly in these times where the contrary is needed : one world and one mankind
Riddle Sideways: :))
Adams Rubble: yes Bertram
Bertram Jacobus: hehe. a child adams ? :-)
Riddle Sideways: babysitting
Bertram Jacobus: daughter or son ? :-) - ah ! okey ... :-)
Adams Rubble: yes, just got a big smile

Bertram Jacobus: wow
Adams Rubble: and toddling
Bertram Jacobus chuckles
Adams Rubble: we were marching this morning to John Phuillip Sousa
Bertram Jacobus: who or what is that ?
Adams Rubble: ohhh
Adams Rubble: March King of the United States--composer at end of niineteenth century
Adams Rubble: are you familiar with Monty Python over there?
Bertram Jacobus: and you can walk to him in the morning ?
Bertram Jacobus: yes
Adams Rubble: hehe, march to his music
Riddle Sideways: toddle to the music
Bertram Jacobus: ok - i´ll try to look that up in the internet ...
Adams Rubble: the theme of Monty Python is Sousa's Liberty Bell March without the shoe
Adams Rubble: said that wrong with the shoe for Monty Pythin :)
Adams Rubble: with a bell for everyone else
Riddle Sideways: watching Adams dig a word hole deeper
Riddle Sideways: trying to get out
Adams Rubble giggles
Adams Rubble shovels out with the bell
Riddle Sideways: more giggles
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: what a super inventory control you have, Adams
Riddle Sideways: to pull a shovel out
Adams Rubble: All the bells in my inventory are hair types
Adams Rubble: hair styles
Riddle Sideways: hmm, local bell rang, but not the PaB one yet
Adams Rubble: it is a little behind these days
Riddle Sideways: sorry Bert, we are playing with words too much today
Bertram Jacobus: hehe - nooo - i´m used to such ! ... ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: but tyvm for considering this ! ...
Bertram Jacobus: very copassionated (!) ... :-)
Riddle Sideways: seem to get into writing one sentiment and spelling gets in the way
Bertram Jacobus: and pls feel free to go on with that !
Riddle Sideways: then alternate words takes one off the path
Bertram Jacobus: don´t feel hindered by me or something like that pls ! ... :-)
Adams Rubble: you are no hindrance Bertram
Bertram Jacobus: good - phew :-)
Adams Rubble: not a hindrance
Riddle Sideways: the hindrance is personal here. So much Adult Distraction Disease
Bertram Jacobus: but when i don´t understand all, i sometimes prefere to be silent and listen ... read ...
Bertram Jacobus: learn ...
Adams Rubble: I wish we could help Riddle :(
Riddle Sideways: giggling again
Riddle Sideways: then there is the reading, then thinking, then off into a mini-daydream
Riddle Sideways: and the chat lag
Riddle Sideways: finally typing something is referrence to minutes ago
Bertram Jacobus: ah ! i´m not the only one with lag here and today ! (?) :-)
Adams Rubble: I am afraid I must go. Duty calls. It was nice I was able to viisit today
Bertram Jacobus: have a good time adams
Adams Rubble: bye for now. Have a very good day.
Riddle Sideways: thanks for your time, Adams
Riddle Sideways: have your best time
Bertram Jacobus: whoosh
Riddle Sideways: being a grandparent would be fun
Riddle Sideways: and tiring
Riddle Sideways: and smiles
Bertram Jacobus: hmmm ... i'm alone and had to learn, to handle that. but good for a spiritual life i think
Riddle Sideways: yes
Bertram Jacobus: wonderful that you can understand / agree to that !
Bertram Jacobus: and again ty for your service here ...
Riddle Sideways: has been much spiritual life these last few days
Bertram Jacobus: in around 2 minutes the hour is over already ...
Riddle Sideways: yes, it flies fast
Bertram Jacobus: ah - in which way your life was spiritual the last days ?
Riddle Sideways: sitting around this fountain helps ground one
Bertram Jacobus: yeh good
--BELL--
Bertram Jacobus: happy to hear / read this
Bertram Jacobus: oops
Riddle Sideways: being in a religion that has a 10-day holiday this time of year. Spending the last couple days (and today) singing and chanting and reading and thinking spiritual things
Riddle Sideways: shhhhh yerself bell
Bertram Jacobus: sry ... i was mistaking ...
Bertram Jacobus: hehe
Bertram Jacobus: i see - is that hinduistic ?
Riddle Sideways: no.
Bertram Jacobus: would you like to tell which kind of religion that is ?
Riddle Sideways: Judism
Bertram Jacobus: ah i see - so you are jewish ?
Riddle Sideways: yes
Bertram Jacobus: okay ! quite special ... how many jews are there on the world ? ...
Riddle Sideways: not that many. 30 million?
Bertram Jacobus: may be - i don´t know ...
Bertram Jacobus: and i live (again) in a buddhist center since now already and as written before, again, since around two years now ...
Riddle Sideways: Wikipedia thinks about 15 million
Bertram Jacobus: so here most of the time is something happening with meditations, teachings and such ...
Bertram Jacobus: wow - only 15 ! ... interesting - and how many in israel ? ...
Riddle Sideways: does it get into comparing itself with other religions?
Riddle Sideways: about 6.5 million in Israel
Bertram Jacobus: ah. people do such, sometimes. may be even often. but i think, there are many different best ways, for various individuals
Bertram Jacobus: i see the common aspects in the religions and many various ways to go on the paths ...
Riddle Sideways: most often looks like there are so many different paths
Riddle Sideways: several paths just made for you
Bertram Jacobus: there are many but i see that as an advantage
Bertram Jacobus: hehe. made for me ?
Riddle Sideways: yes and yes
Bertram Jacobus: ehm - why for me ? :-)
Riddle Sideways: well, if your one path is not ... there can be another path
Riddle Sideways: or that is one way to think on it
Bertram Jacobus: ah i see ...
Riddle Sideways: maybe if there is trouble following the one path you decided upon
Riddle Sideways: then you might be on a different path right next to it
Riddle Sideways: maybe there is a metaphoric path that goes from birth to death
Bertram Jacobus: ty dear riddle, sry but i think, i should go now ... tiredness suddenly comes over me and makes me a bit ... ... tired ! ;-)
Riddle Sideways: thank you so much for your time
Bertram Jacobus: and i will think about the sentences you wrote right now
Riddle Sideways: and Being here
Riddle Sideways: oh! don't think on them very hard
Bertram Jacobus: same dear riddle - i wish you and for all beings the very best ! ...
Riddle Sideways: the babblings of an ole one
