    Korel Laloix: Heya
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Kori.
Korel Laloix: What you been up to?
Bruce Mowbray: I'm currently editing a drone video I took this afternoon.
    Bruce Mowbray: How bout you?
Korel Laloix: Something fun?.. Or illegal? Or both? smiles
Korel Laloix: Having a rare lazy Saturday.
Bruce Mowbray: Fun, legal, requested by a guy I'd never seen before.
Korel Laloix: Going to work on going mesh a little..... we might get drunk as well.. lol
Bruce Mowbray: He wanted me to take a video of his restored 1946 pick up and the truck he hauls it around in.
Korel Laloix: Oh Ok... good for you both then.
    Bruce Mowbray: Yeah, it
Korel Laloix: I don't think I will ever understand the fascination with old cars.. but I do know a lot of people really enjoy that hobby.
Bruce Mowbray: It's a cool vid, but I have to delete the license plates, at his request.
Korel Laloix: That makes sense these days.
    Bruce Mowbray: Yeppers.
Bruce Mowbray: Still working on mesh, huh?
Korel Laloix: A lot you can do with a little information in the wrong hands.
Korel Laloix: Maybe spent a couple of hours on it now... and a few dollars..
    Bruce Mowbray: Oh my
Korel Laloix: I will see what I can do with it.
Bruce Mowbray: what's the advantage of mesh over the regular stuff?
Korel Laloix: Kind of my same issue with non-mesh.. how to be dark and not look African.
    Bruce Mowbray: ahhh!
Korel Laloix: Just looks more refined.. that is it.
Bruce Mowbray: Have you considered using a face light?
Bruce Mowbray: or are you changing the actual features... not just the complexion.
Korel Laloix: I did, but that did not help with the ethnic details.
    Bruce Mowbray: ahhh, got ya.
Korel Laloix: I liked the old face, but a new one will be a nice change.. like changing makeup brands...
    Bruce Mowbray: Cool.
Bruce Mowbray: I've changed my face a couple of times over the years... though not in a couple of years, now.
Korel Laloix: Still cheaper then changing RL makeup brands for sure..
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Korel Laloix: I was the same for like 8 years.. so was time for an update.
Bruce Mowbray: Wow... a new look. . . My typist could use one of those.
    Korel Laloix: lol
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Korel Laloix: I am looking forward to a new look later this year at work.. soooo ready for a new job.
Bruce Mowbray: I wish you the best with that.
Korel Laloix: Thanks... I want to get back in scrubs vs dressing up every day.
Bruce Mowbray: i am SOOOO glad that I don't have to look for new jobs.... at age 76.
Bruce Mowbray: Scrubs are cool. green or blue?
Korel Laloix: I actually enjoy chasing a new job.
Korel Laloix: At my size, I have to get them made anyway, so I get to choose the material.
    Bruce Mowbray: ahhhh. cool.
Bruce Mowbray: Are you still running a lot?
Korel Laloix: So I have a lot of different ones... some for work with kids, some for holidays... etc
    Bruce Mowbray: Great.
Korel Laloix: Still running too much according to my Dr.
    Bruce Mowbray: I see.

    --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: I could use a little more running myself.
Korel Laloix: But I am just doing 4-5 a day.. with a nice push on the weekends sometimes.
    Bruce Mowbray: Whew!
Bruce Mowbray: The most I can do is to walk a mile.
Bruce Mowbray: then my hip starts hurting so bad I have to stop.
Korel Laloix: I was looking at my journal from just 10 years ago.. I was running 8 miles a day and more on the weekends.
    Bruce Mowbray: That's amazing.
    Korel Laloix: That's self destructive...
    Korel Laloix: brb
Bruce Mowbray: I used to have a prison friend (who died two years ago) and he ran at least five miles every day . . . sometimes ten.
Bruce Mowbray: He (Mike) called it his "positive addiction."
    Korel Laloix: Back
Korel Laloix: All things in moderation...
Korel Laloix: For me, it carried the signs of an emotional addiction.. and sort of still does.
    Bruce Mowbray: yep
    Bruce Mowbray: Hmmmm.
Korel Laloix: It was definitely my therapy before I had a therapist... lol
Bruce Mowbray ponders what he might be emotionally addicted to.
Bruce Mowbray: Well, walking has been my therapy for decades.
Bruce Mowbray: Especially long distance walking...
Bruce Mowbray: but I can't do that anymore, sadly.
Korel Laloix: That is true as well.. Sama sometimes walks with me as I warm up for my runs..
    Bruce Mowbray: Sounds good.
Korel Laloix: It is very therapeutic for us both.
    Bruce Mowbray: Yes.
Bruce Mowbray: (better than getting drunk, maybe?)
Bruce Mowbray: although I DO love my gin.
Korel Laloix: Well, that has its place as well sometimes..
    Bruce Mowbray: For sure.
Bruce Mowbray: Still a tequila gal?
Korel Laloix: Sama loves to reinforce the stereotype with vodka.
    Bruce Mowbray: Ahhh!
Korel Laloix: Very much so.. but more and more a wino.
Bruce Mowbray: OK. I love a good merlot.
    Bruce Mowbray: or chablis,
    Bruce Mowbray: or rose,
    Bruce Mowbray: or cabernet savingnon
Korel Laloix: And there are a couple of nice new breweries in the city that make some beers that are good enough for me drink.. almost like my short semester in Germany.
    Bruce Mowbray: (probably misspelled that)
Korel Laloix: No idea.. I can't spell English let alone French..
Bruce Mowbray: My mother would go to Heidelberg every fall to drink beer at the Octoberfest.
Korel Laloix: Sounds lovely.. I know I enjoyed it.
Bruce Mowbray: She went over a dozen times – all the way from from Oregon.
Korel Laloix: I still look back and cringe at how much a wasted that trip.. but I still enjoyed it so much.. lol
Bruce Mowbray: I enjoyed my trips to Europe too.
Korel Laloix: A long trip to drink...
Bruce Mowbray: One European to nine countries in 1966... (taking two grad courses) and one to Scotland in 2006
Korel Laloix: I so want to get back there, but Sama wants us to take a trip back to Russia first.. which makes sense.
Bruce Mowbray: Wow. She's from Russia?
Korel Laloix: Oh.. thought you knew that.. sorry.
    Bruce Mowbray: Nope. Cool.
Korel Laloix: Yes.. she was born in St Petersburg.
    Bruce Mowbray: Ahhh!
Bruce Mowbray: Home of Anna Karenina.
    Bruce Mowbray: (Dostoevsky)
Korel Laloix: But her parents are both Eastern Slavs... Basically Slavic Siberia.
    Bruce Mowbray: Ahhh.
Bruce Mowbray: That's an amazing background.
Bruce Mowbray: Would you be upset with me if I scooted to non-SL activities now? I have a lot to get done this afternoon.

    --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: Don't mean to be rude, but I need to go now.
    Bruce Mowbray: Take care.
    Bruce Mowbray: Happy drinking!
    Korel Laloix: Ok... take care.
    Korel Laloix: Ciao
