Wol Euler: is that a philosophical uncertainty, or a reality-based one?
Bertram Jacobus: many heavy things happening around me these days, but at the same time i feel - this not knowing
Wol Euler: well, I'm sorry to hear that (in so far as you feel it's a bad thing)
Bertram Jacobus: "bad" : i think, one can learn from such, even better then when one has only easy circumstances around ...
Wol Euler: agreed

Bertram Jacobus: do you have to work today ?
Wol Euler: not today, no :)
Bertram Jacobus: wow - often not anymore on saturdays, right ?
Wol Euler: I try to keep saturdays free as much as possible, but sometimes that just doesn't work out
Bertram Jacobus: since already a while ...

Bertram Jacobus: i see - and sundays you can´t come to the meditations - people miss you - you work so long or are too tired om these sundays noon slt ? ...
Wol Euler sighs.

Wol Euler: I miss the meditation too
Bertram Jacobus: but what is / are the hindrance(s) ?
Wol Euler: sunday is a tricky day
Bertram Jacobus: in which way ?
Wol Euler: either I am working late, or I am involved in a group event in Warcraft
Wol Euler: Thursday and Sunday evenings are our guild raiding times
Wol Euler: and I really want to play in more raids in this expansion
Bertram Jacobus: ah i see - ari similar : first he came, but now not anymore - has another appointment as well on 12:30 on sundays - may be, we should find another time and day ? may be saturdays ?
Wol Euler: I thought of logging in to Second Life on my laptop and sending my avatar to the meditation, since I wouldn't have to speak (much)
Wol Euler: but that seems pointless except that I would appear present to other people, which seems like cheating them

Bertram Jacobus: hehe and i started to play a bit wow as well again, but so far only the base level without paying ... ;-)

Bertram Jacobus: hehe. that little time i spend there - i think, my priority constantly is more meditation i must admit and all which is close to that so to say ...

Wol Euler: because I have a long-standing SL dance and chat party that I attend

Bertram Jacobus: for example, just now, there are also again people in our house and i could join them, but i prefered to meet you at least for short, because ... any how you are also not so far away from that topics ... at least from my point of view (!) ... :-)

Wol Euler: part of my dilemma with your meditation on sunday is what I might call "time balancing"
Wol Euler: I do enjoy the meditation and I would definitely attend if there were not this conflict
Bertram Jacobus: ah - i love the description : "life is very simple : one is born, then we go here and there and then we die again" ;-)
Wol Euler: heh
Wol Euler: but the problem for me is at least in part that I would miss an entire evening of raiding, three to four hours, for the ten minutes' of silent meditation
Wol Euler: because it's a team effort, twenty people
Wol Euler: I can't ask them to just sit and pick their noses for a quarter hour while I do something else
Bertram Jacobus: sure. i see and know - would you have a suggestion, when we could meet ?
Wol Euler: they would refuse, and rightly so

Wol Euler: does the *time* work well for you? 9pm MEZ = noon SL?
Bertram Jacobus: i would love, if we would find a time which would fit for ari and you as well
Wol Euler: 9pm will almost always be okay for me, only in the most extreme of cases would I not be home for that
Wol Euler: so ... Friday maybe?
Wol Euler: to end the week or greet the weekend?
Wol Euler: or Monday evening to start the new week
