Riddle Sideways: learned they are the Rock People, remembered it wrong all these years
Riddle Sideways: the point of the whole movie is too current for watching probably
Riddle Sideways: fun, reading the comments of people who saw it when 3 years old

Adams Rubble: he spent months writing it
    Riddle Sideways: hmmm, no
Adams Rubble: it would have been the best speech Nixon ever gave
Adams Rubble: it probably can be googled now--it only recently surfaced
Riddle Sideways: ah, many youtubes of that
Riddle Sideways: even one of Benedict Cumberbatch reading the speech
    Adams Rubble: :)

Riddle Sideways: of what the crescent Earth looked like
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: when the landing happened I kind of resented Nixon being part of it but this speech made me feel differently--that it could have gone the other way
Adams Rubble: it would have reflected badly on Nixon
Adams Rubble: also this was a very different speech from what trump would do in similar situation
Riddle Sideways: there you go! viewing things differently again
Adams Rubble: would have blamed everyone
Adams Rubble: as you said, we see what we want to see :)
Riddle Sideways: wondering about presidents having speech writers
