Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: Morning Adams ㋡
Adams Rubble: I hope all is well
Adams Rubble: I am in from shoveling snow :)
Riddle Sideways: think all is well, but not sure yet ㋡
Riddle Sideways: the wonderful shoveling snow season
Riddle Sideways: Exercise
Riddle Sideways: the Great Outdoors
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: the Glad to be Alive feelings
Adams Rubble: It is like a Brueghel painting with the dark trees against the white snow and all the bords looking for something to eat
Adams Rubble: birds
Adams Rubble: in some cases it is I hope I can stay alive :)
Riddle Sideways: the Glad to be back inside resting feeling
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I am still alive :)
Riddle Sideways: YaY!!!!
Riddle Sideways: You made it to yet another Blursday
Riddle Sideways: and have already formed great memories of Being. Out in the dangerious world and its snow and exercise
Riddle Sideways: the mental capacities to note and label the scene as likened to a Pieter Bruegel 'the Elder'
Bleu Oleander: 's current display-name is "Bleu".
Adams Rubble: Good morning Bleu :)
Riddle Sideways: wondering why and how he got the name/label "the Elder"
Bleu Oleander: hi Riddle and Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: good morning Bleu
Riddle Sideways: welcome
Adams Rubble: He had a son Pieter the younger :)
Bleu Oleander: hope I'm not interrupting
Adams Rubble: no, we are just getting started
Riddle Sideways: somehow if the topic goes to close to great artists, Bleu appears ㋡
Adams Rubble: I am in from shoveling more snow
Bleu Oleander: hahaha
Bleu Oleander: sorry to hear about MORE snow!
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: funny that global warming leads to more snow but that's the way things are going :)
Riddle Sideways: ha, love the snowflakes while typing Bleu
Bleu Oleander: btw, there's an interesting talk this morning ... if interested (you can take link this out of the log) https://www.youtube.com/watch?mc_cid...ature=youtu.be
Bleu Oleander: ty Riddle ... fun :)
Adams Rubble: I was mentioning to Riddle that the scene outside looks like a Pieter Brueghel painting with the black trees and snow and all the birds trying to find something to eat
Bleu Oleander: nice!
Riddle Sideways: thanks
Adams Rubble: Ridle has been pointing out how grateful I should be to have a reason to go outside and he is correct
Riddle Sideways: reading Wikipedia that it is Pieter Bruegel the Elder. because there were kids that became Pieter Bruegel the Younger
Riddle Sideways: now wondering when 'the Elder' (quite distinguished) got replaced with 'Senior' and Junior
Adams Rubble: lots of Brueghels
Riddle Sideways: gratefulnesses come in many packages
Bleu Oleander: :)
Riddle Sideways: have to drive a few hours to get to a place the snow has to be shoveled
Riddle Sideways: so does Bleu
Riddle Sideways: and Adams has it delivered right to the sidewalk
Adams Rubble snickers
Bleu Oleander: yes snow is a few hours away
Adams Rubble: snow is for the very young :)
Bleu Oleander: can see it on the mountain tops sometimes
Riddle Sideways: yes for the very young. have a treasured video of a 1yr old enjoying a cookie sheet pan of snow
Adams Rubble: still I will be glad to see the back of the polar vortex
Riddle Sideways: that would be yet another grateful moment
Adams Rubble: very grateful
Riddle Sideways: Bleu, thank you for the resident bunny
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: am often hypnotized watching it
Bleu Oleander: yw isn't he cute?
Adams Rubble: I am having 90 pounds of snow melt delivered. I figure once it comes, the polar vortex will go away
Riddle Sideways: very relaxing
Bleu Oleander: there are a few behind you on my parcel
Adams Rubble: yes, nice bunny
Bleu Oleander: he's good company if you're here by yourself :)
Adams Rubble draws attention to mittens
Bleu Oleander: Bernie mittens?
Adams Rubble nods
Riddle Sideways: back, was admiring the bunnies of the field ㋡
Bleu Oleander: :)
Riddle Sideways: Bernie Mittens ㋡
Riddle Sideways: the Bernie meme is showing up Everywhere
Bleu Oleander: yes
Adams Rubble nods
Adams Rubble: they appear to be working because I am not cold at all :)
Bleu Oleander: haha
Riddle Sideways: great ㋡
Riddle Sideways: funny how was colder when wearing a down jacket then a Hawaiian shirt
Riddle Sideways: in SL
Bleu Oleander: avatars have real world effects
Riddle Sideways: Must be that Attitude one has toward things. again
Riddle Sideways: yes, Bleu
Bleu Oleander: I just gave you an edited day cycle environment
Bleu Oleander: you can use it by selecting it for yourself
Adams Rubble: Thank you. Things look the same for me here as they do in Mugunghwa
Bleu Oleander: if you apply it you'll see the PaB logo in the sky in place of the moon :)
Adams Rubble: ")
Adams Rubble: :)
Bleu Oleander: yes this is the default environment
Riddle Sideways: thank you,
Bleu Oleander: set by "region" owner
Riddle Sideways: starts playing with the worlds day cycles and changing the sky colors
Riddle Sideways: what could go wrong? ㋡
Bleu Oleander: fun to play with
Adams Rubble: :)
Bleu Oleander: using the new EEP settings
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: My grahics card has a defect and everything turns blue sometimes
Bleu Oleander: are you on an older computer?
Adams Rubble: i have to use the SL viewer to go in and turn off the advance lighting
Adams Rubble: no very new computer; it is the graphics card
Bleu Oleander: should be able to adjust in prefs? no?
Bleu Oleander: my graphics are set mid range and I have atmospheric shaders checked but not advanced lighting model
Adams Rubble: The advanced lighting control is grayed out in my Phoenix
Bleu Oleander: what is your main graphics slider set to?
Adams Rubble: low
Bleu Oleander: that's why
Adams Rubble: ohh
Bleu Oleander: try mid range
Bleu Oleander: set draw distance to around 100 or so
Bleu Oleander: and see if ok speed then
Adams Rubble: thank you, I see it is available now
Bleu Oleander: advanced lighting model slows my experience down too much ... but I find Atmospheric shaders adds enough without slowing my computer down too much
Bleu Oleander: without both AS and ALM the world is not so pretty!
Adams Rubble: I have kept things low so I don;t see all the clutter in the landscape :)
Bleu Oleander: that's draw distance
Bleu Oleander: I keep mine around 100
Bleu Oleander: unless at an art opening :D
Bleu Oleander: must get back to my other life .... take care you two!
Bleu Oleander: see ya soon
Adams Rubble: bye Bleu. Thank you
Riddle Sideways: other life? what is that thing? ㋡
Riddle Sideways: by Bleu and thanks
Bleu Oleander: bye bye
Riddle Sideways: this old computer and graphics card slowed way down just now
Riddle Sideways: but the fans got fast and loud
Adams Rubble: ohhh
Riddle Sideways: so turn all that stuff back down
Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: this computer is for Chat and sitting still
Riddle Sideways: the new laptop with the really good graphic card is for art exhibits and pretty things
Adams Rubble: Dubrovna has not done any museum work in a long time
Riddle Sideways: needs a rest
Adams Rubble: I have been wondering about the cost of all the land
Riddle Sideways: oh dear
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: inertia is a finny thing
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: at the beginning of COVID I was getting lots of work done
Adams Rubble: now the days pass
Adams Rubble: ohh, I am reading a biography of John Lennon. It is something like 1200 pages
Riddle Sideways: that link Bleu gave just went Live
Riddle Sideways: played music and started talking
Adams Rubble: would you like to listen?
Riddle Sideways: nope paused it
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: but, it was hard to find
Adams Rubble: I wonder where how much the biographer might have made up
Riddle Sideways: far too many little computers that can start playing music here
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, enough to flesh out 1200 pages
Riddle Sideways: the Barack Obama book is only 900 pages
Adams Rubble: many pages
Adams Rubble: yes but he wrote that\
Riddle Sideways: written and read by him, so he would have to have only put the truth in it
Riddle Sideways: sooooo, 1200 - 900 = 300 extra pages of ... ummm stuff
Adams Rubble: or his version of it
Riddle Sideways: /wonders about how many pages of truth (as he sees it) Trump's book will be ㋡
Adams Rubble groans
Adams Rubble: he will not write one
Adams Rubble: he really is rather lazy
Riddle Sideways: will tell somebody to write one then Fire them
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: He would only consider an incompetent writer
Riddle Sideways: just noted that Pieter Bruegel the Younger did a satirical caricature of the legal profession
Riddle Sideways: what could have so bad with the legal profession back then
Adams Rubble giggles
Riddle Sideways: the modern legal systems had not kicked in gear yet
Riddle Sideways: /am shocked
Adams Rubble: their main training would have been theology for starters
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: and maybe never study Ethics ?
Adams Rubble: Christian ehtics
Riddle Sideways: just amazed at doing a Search; returns that one can Buy Christian Ethics on Amazon
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: so much talk lately of Ethics and moral conduct
Adams Rubble: I have been wondering if they teach ethics at the Harvard and Yale law schools givev all the conspiracy theorists who have degress from thos eplaces
Riddle Sideways: around the subject of vacines
Riddle Sideways: probably still have classes, but are they required toward the degree?
Adams Rubble: I do not know but I have been wondering
Adams Rubble: so many of the Senators who are not going to vote guilty will have degrees from there
Adams Rubble: add in Georgetown
Riddle Sideways: and may still own a book re: Ethics
Riddle Sideways: having a barely pasted grade in a freshman class 40 years before
Riddle Sideways: should still be reverent
Riddle Sideways: sorry to say that did not watch any of the 15 hours of rhetoric yesterday
Adams Rubble: I only watched the video they showed
Adams Rubble: the Trump lawyer was a hoot during the first day
Adams Rubble: made no sense whatsoever
Adams Rubble: kept starting threads that went nowhere
Riddle Sideways: another proud graduate of the Trump University Law school
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: he is running out of lawyers
Riddle Sideways: need to go watch those
Riddle Sideways: but first, why did the plumbers not call back yet?
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: first they have to send in the clowns
Adams Rubble: welcome back
Riddle Sideways: nevermind they're already here
Adams Rubble: :)

Riddle Sideways: nice scheduling
Adams Rubble: like living in Syracuse
Riddle Sideways: Greece or NY?
Adams Rubble: New York
Adams Rubble: I imagine like where you come from
Adams Rubble: lake effect
Riddle Sideways: actually Buffalo is not getting as much as you
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I am glad for Buffalo
Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Adams Rubble: can't wait for the polar vortex to go home
Riddle Sideways: forecast for rain here, so might go shovel the oak leaves off the drive
Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: sorry, don't think about Polar Vortex'es's much
Adams Rubble: no, California has its own problems
Riddle Sideways: Vortexi
Riddle Sideways: Jewish Space Laser attacks
Adams Rubble: one polar vortex but split in two - one over Europe and one over North America
Adams Rubble: and warming in artic
Adams Rubble: crazy
Riddle Sideways: and Himalayan glacier cracking
