Adams Rubble: looks very nice
Riddle Sideways: Spring has sprung there
Riddle Sideways: very good
Riddle Sideways: wondering if the tree knew the month and start blooming or a little sprite comes and decorates
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: or they leave it that way all year :)
Riddle Sideways: there is a tree maker-seller of very fine quality that has 4 seasons trees and bushes
Riddle Sideways: too expensive, but they might be tied to calendars
Adams Rubble: wow
Adams Rubble: for the lazy landscaper :)
Riddle Sideways: or maybe dreamed that that was true
Adams Rubble: but neat
Adams Rubble wants one
Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: how is the snow in your Neck of the Woods?
Adams Rubble: the central part of North America is in very deep freeze
Adams Rubble: we are trudging along here
Adams Rubble: had rain last night that probably has put more stress on the roofs that are still loaded with snow
Adams Rubble: but we managed to get through three ice storms that fizzled out here
Riddle Sideways: ah the fizzled out ice
Riddle Sideways: Son called to ask what to do if a car won't turn over after being outside below zero for a week
Adams Rubble: cars don't like to be in zero for a week without running
Riddle Sideways: and was on zoom with a person who had no water due to frozen pipes. In Austin!
Riddle Sideways: Was dazzled by Austin Tx having snow and freezing.
Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: watched a yoga youtube of person from Austin with snow in yard behind
Adams Rubble: in Eastern Texas many people living in trailer homes because of hurricane damage and the water pipes are exposed
Adams Rubble: One town in nebraska was -33 last night
Riddle Sideways: wow. a Record
Adams Rubble: Little Rock getting a foot and a half of snow
Adams Rubble: it was -59 in a Minnesota town
Riddle Sideways: "Tain't a fit night for man ner beast" - W.C. Fields
Adams Rubble: It made me have to stop complaining about our winter
Riddle Sideways: aw, no. go on and complain
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: we had a nice walk in the snow on Saturday
Adams Rubble: very beautiful in the woods
Riddle Sideways: carefully
Adams Rubble: yes carefully

Riddle Sideways: SL snow is fun and strange at same time
Riddle Sideways: flying over a sim with a blanket of snow over all
Riddle Sideways: except one plot that has grass and palm trees
Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: a nice green square
Adams Rubble: there is an aerial view of an eastern Texas town that had snow and palm trees
Adams Rubble: but just sand and snow--no grass
Riddle Sideways: crashed
Riddle Sideways: had a feeling a crash would happen today
Adams Rubble: wb
Riddle Sideways: Olde computer was complaining like it would not go the distance
Adams Rubble: awww, poor thing
Riddle Sideways: it still does many things ok, but being in two lives-worlds at once is hard on it
Adams Rubble: yes
Adams Rubble: my desktop does well with this world but won't run my old software
Riddle Sideways: last week, went for a walk around this neighborhood
Riddle Sideways: it use to be so barren
Riddle Sideways: and now has lots of development
Riddle Sideways: an Animesh store

Riddle Sideways: probably making a cell phone call. Mustn't drive while phoning
Adams Rubble: nooo
Riddle Sideways: well ain't that sooooo high tech
Riddle Sideways: a Virtual doctor
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I am so glad I do not have to travel today
Riddle Sideways: remember Popular Science saying that in the 2000 we would have doctor visits by a box in our house
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: shhhh
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: sorry Beel
Adams Rubble: It's fun how sometimes those wild predictions come true
Riddle Sideways: yep
Adams Rubble: would not have happened without the coronavirus
Riddle Sideways: must have told several times here, but of course will tell again ㋡
Riddle Sideways: was predicted we would have airplanes(air-cars) in houses-garages
Riddle Sideways: well, live in a village that has one of those air fields
Riddle Sideways: a couple model houses were built with airplane sized basement garages
Riddle Sideways: never took off (sorry for pun)
Adams Rubble worries about more things flying around overhead
Adams Rubble: :) pun
Adams Rubble: what goes up must come down
Riddle Sideways: but always think of those futuristic magazine articles when go to post office next to that airfield
Adams Rubble: more things there are, the more crashes
Riddle Sideways: what could be the problem with sleeping above airplane fuel?
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: and those Dick Tracy wrist communicators
Riddle Sideways: now people have on wrist to never miss a text, phone call, advert for a movie to watch
Adams Rubble: and keep up with all the conspiracy theories while attacking the capitol
Riddle Sideways: wondering how grandad thought he had a good life, when he did not know how many steps he did each day
Riddle Sideways: ha, all those selfies taken and posted while doing illegal entries
Adams Rubble: some of us still do not know
Riddle Sideways: remembering the many years of not knowing the exact time at any moment
Riddle Sideways: still seemed to know when to come in out of the snow storm
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: the Tech we can't live without. And the Tech we should live without

Adams Rubble: I was thinking about technology after your thoughts
Riddle Sideways: /listens
Adams Rubble: When a child the only music came from 78 rpm recoprds played on a windup Victrolia controlled by my father and the Arthur Godefroy Show on the radio on top of the refrigerator that my mother listened to each day
Adams Rubble: now can listen to all the early Beatles music I missed on youtube while reading the Lennon biography
Riddle Sideways: the 'radio' was a huge cabinet thing in the Living Room, with bright hot tubes and a huge dial that got shortware (whatever that was)
Riddle Sideways: and FM (whatever that was)

Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: there are now Internet Radio stations playing all those old radio shows

Riddle Sideways: Appalled to hear Amos and Andy now
Riddle Sideways: but long for the days when you knew good and bad people by the color of their cowboy hats
Riddle Sideways: except 'White' was Good
Adams Rubble: was nice of all the bad people to wear black hats
Adams Rubble: hard for the good people to keep hats clean
Riddle Sideways: a gag sign that pointed to the person to explain who in the cast they are
Riddle Sideways: maybe good people don't do dirty work
Riddle Sideways: hmmm
Adams Rubble: all the British class system
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: was there a difference from the caste system?
Adams Rubble: subtle
Riddle Sideways: imagine way back in history when people were instantly judged by the color of their skin
Riddle Sideways: or the class/caste they were born of
Riddle Sideways: whoops. went too far with that
Adams Rubble: that discussion gets uncomfortable in this culture
Riddle Sideways: back to flying cars
Riddle Sideways: would of course have to be driver-less controlled
Riddle Sideways: to avoid crashes
Riddle Sideways: but, we never talked of that part
Adams Rubble: best not to have all that stuff flying overhead
Riddle Sideways: left to the future. those small details of how grandads would magically know how to fly in traffic
Riddle Sideways: it would Just Happen
Riddle Sideways: well, the jetsons space car had a steering wheel
Adams Rubble: so did Fred Flintones rock car
Riddle Sideways: can't remember if Flash Gordan had a steering wheel
