Bleu Oleander: thank you all for participating in our pavilion project. This is Darren’s revised version of his first Pavilion, our Pavilion No. 1 in this project. We missed having a feedback session initially so we’re doing it now. Darren will have a week to make any further changes. On September 28th a temporary pavilion will go up and we’ll start to vote. Watch for an email from the Working Group with info on how to vote.
Bleu Oleander: Thank you Darren for designing two of the pavilions for our pavilion project … and for revising both of them, providing alternate versions. A lot of work! thank you again! you can see photos of all the pavilions designed for our project here:

Avaline DeCuir: Hi Bleu, Bruce, San, Agatha Eliza
    Avaline DeCuir kisses Darren
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello dear
    Darren Islar: kisses Ava

Bleu Oleander: Today, we’re giving feedback to Darren, who designed and re-designed this pavilion. What inspired you when designing your pavilion? and what inspired this revised version?

Darren Islar: the first one was a two-layered pavilion, also to show how we might make use of little space, but since we introduced several platforms and since the prims are (just) enough, I thought it would be better to take the top layer off
Darren Islar: that also goes for the outer ring
Darren Islar: instead I made it higher to give a feeling of support in your back
Darren Islar: I wanted it to be light, giving alertness but not distant
Darren Islar: the stairs came with the hight of the outer wall, which I colored in the colors also used in the PaB logo ... not sure it fits the purple though
Darren Islar: water is a very basic element, I realize now I forgot to put in the sound, but will do later
Darren Islar: Originally I used 5 pillars, just what looked right to me, now there are 9
Darren Islar: Originally I liked things which would change yoru perspective when looking at it, it is partly still there since from the outside the roof looks different than from the inside
Darren Islar: I changed that too to give it more a tranquilizing feeling
Darren Islar: the lotus is a symbol of the purity seated in mud, it's a symbol of transformation, it's also used in meditations and is the birthing place of Buddha's
Darren Islar: I think that's about it
    Bleu Oleander: ok thanks Darren!
Darren Islar: oh adn different perspective, when you look through the glass, you'll see stones as if you're sitting on water
    Darren Islar: ok done now

    Agatha Macbeth: Mick :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Mick
    Darren Islar: hey Mick
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Mick.
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello Mick
    Eliza Madrigal: ty Darren
    Avaline DeCuir: hello mick
Eliza Madrigal tries to look through glass
Mickorod Renard: Hi Folks, sorry I am late
    Bleu Oleander: np
    Santoshima Resident: hi mick
Bleu Oleander: Darren just introduced us to his ideas on building this
    Mickorod Renard: ok ty
Bleu Oleander: I can give you a nc
    Mickorod Renard: cheers
Bleu Oleander: who wants to go first?
Eliza Madrigal: question - do you mean the glass in front and behind of us, Darren?
    --BELL--
Darren Islar: before and behind our cushion, it actually walks through all the way, but the changes has covered the rest
Aphrodite Macbain: 's current display-name is "Aph".
    Bleu Oleander: hey Aph
Eliza Madrigal: oh, okay, yes ty
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Aphie
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Aph
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello Aph
    Darren Islar: hey Aph
Aphrodite Macbain: Hiya sorry I'm late
Bleu Oleander: just gave you a nc
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Aph.
    Darren Islar: nw
    Darren Islar: no worries
Bleu Oleander: ok I can go first?
    Santoshima Resident: hi aph
    Darren Islar: yes
    Bleu Oleander: and then clockwise?
Bruce Mowbray: go for it, Bleu.

Bleu Oleander: There’s a nice sense of playfulness with this Pavilion. Open and yet has a container feeling that encourages playfulness and conversation …
Bleu Oleander: I like the way you have revised this pavilion, although I did like the original too. Photos of both versions can be seen on the wiki. This version seems simplified, having fewer textures and less cushions and no elevator. I like that you have used “9” supports. I also like your rainbow of colors.
Bleu Oleander: I find the fountain pleasant, sound coming soon :)
    Darren Islar: yep :)
Bleu Oleander: I like the animations in the cushions, probably more choices than we need … but nicely done!
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Bleu Oleander: The lighting is nice at both day and night and I appreciate that you took lighting into consideration.
Bleu Oleander: Thank you again Darren ! Overall I find this pavilion very fun and has a nice feeling :)

    Bleu Oleander: done :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Darren Islar: thanks

    Bleu Oleander: Aggers?
Agatha Macbeth: I definitely prefer this to your other one Daz
    Agatha Macbeth: More roomy
Agatha Macbeth: And easier to cam around
    Agatha Macbeth: Nice colours too!
    Darren Islar: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Only beef I have is with the cushions...
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe too small and too many poses
Agatha Macbeth: Otherwise I love it

    Agatha Macbeth: San?
    Darren Islar: thanks
Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name is "Bruce".
    Darren Islar: wb Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: ty.
    Aphrodite Macbain: wb Brucie
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello again Brucie

Santoshima Resident: well done, darren ~ pleasant and lovely to sit in this space
Santoshima Resident: nothing to be changed.
    Santoshima Resident: done
    Darren Islar: thanks

    Bruce Mowbray: my turn?
    Bleu Oleander: yep
Bruce Mowbray: I got back just in time!
    Bleu Oleander: :)

Bruce Mowbray: I love this pavilion -- everything about it.
Bruce Mowbray: I especially like the subtle light changes that happen in sunrise and sunset settings.
Bruce Mowbray: I hear water now.
    Bleu Oleander: yay
    Agatha Macbeth: Me too
    Darren Islar: ((I don't))
Bruce Mowbray: And I like the cushions -- my favorites, actually.
Bruce Mowbray: I like the fact that I can move around a bit with these cushions,
Bruce Mowbray: like waving at people and flipping.
    Bruce Mowbray:
    Darren Islar: hehe
Bruce Mowbray: anyway, great job, Darren.
    Bruce Mowbray: Done.

Mickorod Renard: I love the open feeling to this design and it helps lots when panning around or moving not to get too cluttered . I very much like the colours and they are perhaps my favorite and as Bleu said they are playful and give you a lighter feeling inside. i havnt spent long in here but it meets my requirements well. The lotus flower is a lovely touch and especially so no you have mentioned the significance...very nice thanks

    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Mickorod Renard: done :)
    Darren Islar: thanks :)

Eliza Madrigal: First, I like this quiet, peaceful pose that I'm in right now, and the softness of the pink lotus at center.. feels calming
Eliza Madrigal: I like the island now off in the distance a little rather than attached
Eliza Madrigal: and now that I see the glass effect, that is inventive, really like that too, plus things others have mentioned about the ability to pan around and take photos easily
Eliza Madrigal: 9 pillars and a tall frame works very well
    Eliza Madrigal: hm....
Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name is "Bruce".
Eliza Madrigal: I think that's it for now , thanks very much Darren

    Aphrodite Macbain: wb Bruce
Darren Islar: not sure what youmean with: I like the island now off in the distance a little rather than attached
Bruce Mowbray: (all manner of ISP troubles today, sry.)
    Eliza Madrigal: the sitting spot
    Agatha Macbeth hugs Brucie
Darren Islar: that feels not attached?
Eliza Madrigal: when things are grouped together it takes away a little from the peacefulness to me... so there is space in the middle..
Santoshima Resident: agreed it works well
Darren Islar: ah I see :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bleu Oleander: Darren, are you including that area as part of the pavilion or to enhance the presentation?
Darren Islar: it's just surroundings, just to enhance it a little, though it would be a nice touch since I already had it, but it's not part of the pavilion
Darren Islar: surroundings is a different chapter
    Eliza Madrigal: ah, okay
    Bleu Oleander: ok thanks
    --BELL--
Bleu Oleander: the building group will landscape once the pavilion is chosen
    Bleu Oleander: ok Aph?
    Darren Islar: yes
    Agatha Macbeth salutes the builders
Bruce Mowbray loves the tree platform.

Aphrodite Macbain: I agree with everything that has been said except that I like the different poses on the cushions - they're playful. I love the richness of the colours and play everywhere including in the ring around the lotus. I would only recommend that there is a small path leading through the rocks - either that or I will take off my boots to get here.
    Aphrodite Macbain: done

    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: 0.0
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
    Darren Islar: hrhr
Santoshima Resident: that calls for a camming of the boots!
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Darren Islar: thanks :) and Eliza too
Santoshima Resident: oh yeah, take those off when climing
    Santoshima Resident: b
    Aphrodite Macbain: ok
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Darren Islar: again it's surroundings, but this is made on a flat prim, and the land isn't flat, so there is an ungly line there
    Darren Islar: ugly
Bleu Oleander: yes, the builders will landscape once the pavilion is chosen
Bleu Oleander: landscaping now is just for presentation
    Aphrodite Macbain: nods

Darren Islar: Ava is not guardian but I think she can give her opinion, she will not vote though
Aphrodite Macbain: oh good. I'll keep my boots then
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
    Bleu Oleander: sure, Ava?
    Darren Islar: grins
Aphrodite Macbain: The colours will be very cheerful in the winter :-)
Avaline DeCuir: ummm well I am not really part of the guardian group so ... but I love it
    Bleu Oleander: :)

Mickorod Renard: the lotus flower could also feel like a warm fire in the winter
    Darren Islar: thanks sweet :)
Bleu Oleander: have you all tried midnight view?
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes!
    Bruce Mowbray: Oh wow!
    Aphrodite Macbain: amazing
    Bruce Mowbray: beautiful!
    Agatha Macbeth: Mm nice
    Bleu Oleander: lovely
    Bleu Oleander: nice warmth
Eliza Madrigal: I went from midnight then have brightened every so often - yes very nice
    Mickorod Renard: very nice
Agatha Macbeth: A fire with no fire
Darren Islar: ok, one last remark .... the blue thing under the cushion is actually meant to be one big cushion, that's why it's textured with fabric, but I think it just doesn't feel that 'soft' :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: right aggers!
Darren Islar: thanks :) put some work in there
Aphrodite Macbain: It's a lovely colour
Bruce Mowbray: I like the big torus-shaped blue cushion.
Bruce Mowbray: feels soft to me.
Santoshima Resident: please excuse me, needing to get back to work. congratulations to , Darren, nicely done ~ cheers to you all
Eliza Madrigal: not such a fan of that ring but not sure why... maybe color is stronger than rest
    Aphrodite Macbain: bye San
Bleu Oleander: bye San thank you
    Eliza Madrigal waves San
    Agatha Macbeth: Work well San
Darren Islar: thanks San, and bye
    Mickorod Renard: bye san
    Bruce Mowbray: adios, San-ji.
Eliza Madrigal: have admired your ability with poses for a while though!
    Bleu Oleander: yes nice!
    Darren Islar: thanks
Darren Islar: yes, it's a bit solid I agree
Darren Islar: and very .. in the eye
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Aphrodite Macbain: blue eyes
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Darren Islar: heh
Bleu Oleander: ok so we have some tough choices!!
    Bruce Mowbray: indeed.
    Aphrodite Macbain: Thanks Darren!
Bleu Oleander: voting will start in a week
Aphrodite Macbain: Time for me to toddle off
    Agatha Macbeth: Cheers Daz
    Eliza Madrigal overstimulated, hah
Bleu Oleander: watch for an email from the WG
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Aph
Bruce Mowbray: Bye for now, Aph.
    Aphrodite Macbain: byee all
    Bruce Mowbray: mind your boots.
    Agatha Macbeth: Mind the bears

Darren Islar: bye Aph, thansk for coming
    Bleu Oleander: and thanks Darr
Eliza Madrigal: voting will have a nice long window from sep 20-oct 13
Avaline DeCuir: I like the blue ring and the fact that it is reflected a little in the water
Avaline DeCuir: I find it somewhat grounding
Bruce Mowbray: So, voting starting TODAY?
    Eliza Madrigal: 29, forgive me
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bleu Oleander: voting will start Sept 29
Bleu Oleander: and go until Oct 13
Eliza Madrigal: that's a good point, Ava... with other aspects so light
    Bruce Mowbray: kk, thanks.
Bleu Oleander: and will announce after Oct 15
Agatha Macbeth: Will we get a note or email on the procedures?
    Bleu Oleander: yes
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay
    Agatha Macbeth: I'll need one!
Bleu Oleander: a temporary pavilion will go up on the 28th
Eliza Madrigal: sorry I don't seem to be able to get anything straight lately :)
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Darren Islar: I will play with it a bit, but Blue is also what makes it spacious
Bleu Oleander: Bleu loves the blue
    Agatha Macbeth: Love is blue
    Agatha Macbeth: Osiyo K
    Bleu Oleander: hey Kori
Bruce Mowbray also love the blue.
    Bruce Mowbray: and the Bleu.

Bleu Oleander: Darren has two versions of each of his
Eliza Madrigal: thanks very much for all your work
Bleu Oleander: thanks to everyone :)
Eliza Madrigal: it is tough... there are elements of each that I don't want to be without
Mickorod Renard: yes, thankyou from me too, I started a build but never got anywhere near finnishing
Bleu Oleander: should we separate each version when voting Darren?
    Darren Islar: thank you!
Agatha Macbeth: Well you got further than I did
Bleu Oleander: making our choices 7 pavilions?
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Eliza Madrigal: bummer, Mick! (and me too!)
    Agatha Macbeth: 7?
    Agatha Macbeth: Ithought 5
Darren Islar: erm ... I think this is just one

Darren Islar: fo the first entry
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Bleu Oleander: and which version for your other one?
    Bleu Oleander: second one?
    Agatha Macbeth is getting confused
Darren Islar: they are so different, I would say the last one, with the option to alternate with the first one ... summer and winter
    Bleu Oleander: ok
Eliza Madrigal: I've tried to take photos of the pavilions too, from dif angles, and have posted in sessions. This one is featured in dream session last week
    Eliza Madrigal: https://wiki.playasbeing.org/index.php?title=Chat_Logs/2015/09/2015.09.17_13:00_-_Dream_Session:_%22Man_is_in_the_Forest%22
Agatha Macbeth: Well I'll look at the pictures
    Bleu Oleander: yes, great photos
Darren Islar: which makes it two again .. but let the last one be the one to vote for
    Bleu Oleander: ok Darr
    Bleu Oleander: perfect
Darren Islar: to alternate the pavilions we can decide on later, though I don't think that will be the winner :)
    Bleu Oleander: wait and see!!!
Darren Islar: yeah, you never know :)
Eliza Madrigal has rarely experienced PaB as predictable
    Agatha Macbeth: Me either
